Okay folks, this is BIG!! Palio's just opened and we've heard great things about it. We decided to go for it. IT'S A WINNER!! We ate at Palio's Pizza Cafe yesterday. The atmosphere was sunny and open. It was very clean and the staff polite. We had two kinds of pizza and a Greek salad. The food was fresh and good. It's reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it and will eat there again. read more

I tend to get the same pizza every time-Cade and Blake's pesto. They changed their brand of pesto a few months ago and it's not as good as it was at first. Did not like the veggie pizza which I tried once, not enough cheese or toppings. Salads are good and generous, I like the Greek sans excessive sun dried tomatoes. Their pizzas have thin crust which I prefer. Got tiramisu once, don't recommend-it seemed a little tired (they probably don't sell much of it). Haven't tried much of their menu but I appreciate having more interesting options compared to the usual chains and at equivalent price. One drawback is a minimum order of $20 is required for delivery. read more

This was the first time I have had there food. I had used there online ordering. super easy to use. It not what I expected. The pizza was not warm like it had sat out a while. I had pick the pizza up at the time given online. I felt like it was way over priced for the quality of the pizza. The calzones need more time to cook. The other two pizza we order where dry and over cooked. The younger lady working in the frount where super friendly.. I go to the new one in Azle. A great place. We probably go about every week and a half. Good pizza, pasta and salads. Great staff.

Really good local pizza restaurant! I was actually pleasantly surprised when I walked in, it is definitely a step up from Azle's usual standard. I had seen it for a while and been curious. Last night me and my son ate there and it was really great! The staff was friendly and professional, the restaurant looked clean, the decor was tasteful and the food was really good. The food is good but the service is absolutely the worst! Apparently it is difficult to take an order and get it right. Every time I have gone there with friends they have managed to mess up every order, the lunch special: a salad and a small pizza, every time! I won't be back anytime soon. Well we have gone here a few times first time was great 2nd and 3rd time they forget qnd messed up the order we thought well there working out the kinks... well went today and again messed up order had to remind them 3 times.. my food came out way before my family so i ate and was done before there food came..there where 13 people yes 13 behind the counter chit chatting giving back rubs playing around non stop... it is insane i wont be back till this place gets the kids retrained or something. read more

I have been to this place a few times I am so fed up with the teens they have working here it's insane they run around like its play time and barley work. I had the pleasure of meeting one young man I think his name was chris. Kind of tall with a scruffy beard. Very kind and helpful and knowledgeable I felt bad for him he was working so hard while the "kids" there ran about unsupervised.... he always greets everyone with a smile and a kind word and makes the place enjoyable we sat there as he ran around doing the job of 10 people :/ the food is good but i almost stopped coming I was sick of the sticky table tops read more

Palio's pizzas are the best pizzas we've had since moving from New York to Texas. We've eaten at Palio's numerous times since the cafe opened in Azle-great food and service every time. Tonight we ordered take out, and as we prefer a pie sliced pizza, that's what we ordered. When my son arrived home with the pizza we found it wasn't sliced in a pie shape. I called the Cafe and spoke with Richard, the general manager. He immediately apologized for the error, and insisted on delivering 2 new pizzas to our home, himself. What a gift Azle has with Palio's Pizza, and in particular, with Richard, the manager. He said Palio's is a neighborhood restaurant and our Azle neighborhood is important to him. He certainly went above and beyond my expectations in customer service. Richard and the staff have certainly gained a customer for life and we are truly lucky that we have the best pizza place in the DFW area...Hands Down!!!! read more
