It's not anything that I had experienced before. You walk in, order your pizza at the counter and get a beer tab. Making your beverage choices from the wall selection and pour your own. 20 minutes later the pizza is ready. It was fantastic experience. The music was good and the ambience was inviting for all families and friends.

Conveniently located just off I70 at the Palisade exit it's easy on and off the highway with plenty of parking for those RVs, toy haulers, etc. Service is friendly and efficient. Order and pickup at the counter. Really nice dining room with local information posted throughout. Family friendly too! Fried pickles were amazing! Pizza is good too. They have a huge tap wall with beer and wine. A locals favorite. Be sure to stop in while traveling through the area

I was surprised at how large this business is. There's loads of parking, and it's needed. The attractive lawns and sidewalks lead you to two options - on the left behind the porch swings is a wine shop with quite a few gift kiosks, and some quiet tables. We found a few items we "needed," but in general the merchandise prices were high, and many items had no prices indicated or were on shelves marked with incorrect prices. Luckily the employee was cheerful about checking prices for us. The larger portion of the building is the pizzeria. It's very large, high-ceiling, very noisy (at least on trivia night) and full of energetic patrons. The seating is open; you order and pay at the counter. We chose the special pizza, 10", and shared a large green salad with grilled peach slices added. The Za was terrific. I generally prefer thinner crust, but this wood fired crust was nicely charred and cooked through. Squeeze bottles of honey wait on the tables We only ate 2 of the 4 pieces of pizza, and leftovers were delicious for lunch the next day. The salad greens were reasonably fresh, and the peach slices were fabulous. Packaged croutons on the top were an odd addition, but the wide gratings of fresh Parmesan compensated. On the side was much more balsamic dressing than we needed. The employee we met in the wine shop came around with samples of a tasty Merlot. Skip this place if you want to chat easily with your dining companions, but definitely come here if you want to circulate like at a cocktail party.

We had to stop here to try out their seasonal peach pizza. This place is huge. It's pretty too. The lawn reminds me of a resort. They have inside and outside seating. They also have a second story. You order at the counter and they text you when it's ready. They have a beer wall that also has wine. You get a bracelet and when you're ready for a pour, you tap it and get as much as you want. The screen will show you how many ounces you have served and how much it is. The peach pizza was surprisingly very good. I didn't expect to like to so much. I orders a small one with a side salad. The side salad was a good size too. They had peach samples at the counter. The peaches are so good. Staff was super nice. They explained how everything worked. They have corn hole outside. Parking is on site. The restaurant is dog friendly

Nestled right at the town's entrance, this Palisade pizzeria is a must-stop. The crust snaps under each bite with freshly made toppings. Their seasonal peach salad with juicy orchard fresh peaches makes the difference. We ordered the medium size bowl and it was a big portion for 4 of us to share. We had their chicken wings and they were perfectly seasoned and crispy. With plenty of seating, it's an ideal family-friendly spot. The service was excellent.

This pizza is very good. The crust is amazing. I also like the creative twist to some of my favorites. I got the Whole Caboodle, which is similar to a supreme, but has some flavor added to it in the form of a cream cheese spiral drizzle. The fries were gone in a few minutes. They were flavorful. Yum!

Truly a must stop place! WHEN YOUR RIPPING DOWN I-70 through Palisade, Co,,you know where to stop. Great food, great beer and drink selections. DO IT!!!!!!!!

Stopped here for lunch on the way home. Pretty slow, but we enjoyed the quiet. Ordered the whole Caboodle. Very good pizza with a nice crust. Had leftovers with 14" for the two of us eating. Also got a small pour of Face down Brown since I didn't want to get sleepy for the drive east. You are able to pour as little as you want and that's all you pay for. Only complaint is despite all the beers, only 1 or 2 were of any interest to me. Numerous mass produced beers took up a lot of the selection. Was hoping for more local smaller craft brews from CO. Otherwise we enjoyed our stop, the pizza and atmosphere. Easy stop off I70 as well.

She seemed less than interested in our arrival. We'd arrived later in the evening. Our room was vey nice. Very comfortable. We decide to venture to the jacuzzi. No towels in the outside basket. We had to go inside to request clean towels. When the towels came out, we ask the young lady how to make the jets work in the jacuzzi? "Oh no, they're not working." No sorry, no other explanation, she just walked away. We did manage to get two jets working. It was pleasant. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. The lady preparing the food was very nice. Checking out was easy and the young gentleman pleasant. Trouble started after we left. Our fault. We'd left our swimsuits in the closet. Have to say, 30 years of traveling we have left things behind in our hotels. Kids left toys, pillows, blankets.... It does happen. Not often! I called when we realized this, Tuesday after we'd departed. I explained we'd left our swim suits hanging in the closet. The woman said she'd check lost and found??? I'd given her our room #. She said the cleaners had not finished their rounds yet and to call back later. Okay then, but I just gave you the room number and told you where they were? Again our mistake, but where is the customer service? I was told to call back at the end of the day. I called at the end of the day. Great swimsuits found. I was then told the person who sends packages would be in touch in a day or two. Okay then.... Nope. I called again on Friday, giving the full two days for someone to call. I was then told the person is new and must have missed it. Okay, what now? Well, "you have to make a USPS for your package and we will send it on Thursday". What? "That's the day we send out mail". You cannot be serious. Why was I not told this when I initially called. I would not have to wait another week. Customer service is a big issue here. I should say severe lack of customer service! So disappointing. Yes we did get our suits. Again our fault for leaving them, but I never had such poor customer service.

We ordered a hamburger with a side of sweet potato fries (note I'm not a big fries eater, but the burger and fries were truly delicious). The burger was cooked to perfection, the slices of tomato were juicy and ripe and the fries were crispy with a creamy interior. We ordered a slice of the peach pie for dessert. The huge slice was topped with a crumble, side of whipped cream, along with small balls (molecular process?) of juicy peach balls. We came on the early side for happy hour (2 specialty drinks for the price of one- 9.00) two sangria flavors (green apple or peach)...whilst a tad sweet, we're good. The peach is less sweet than the green apple. If there are two of you ordering, order one per person and you can return for your second one even after happy hour ends.

We knew there were plenty of wineries, but since my wife like trying new things and I didn't know where she had gone in the past, I had her pick the place to go when we got in and she 'randomly' selected this one. We couldn't have been happier. They have plenty of places to sit outside, but we went to the upstairs patio that overlooks the vineyard. It was a great choice. It's very pleasant, the view is beautiful, it's covered (so you're not baking in the sun), and when the breeze rolls through, it's perfect. We were a little taken aback that we had to go "all the way" downstairs when we wanted more wine, but then realized that it's the 'winery atmosphere' (remember - first day in to Palisade). We absolutely loved sitting on the patio and having a couple glasses of wine. We spent the next day visiting a few other wineries, but after two others, we decided to go back to Carboy. Sat on the upstairs patio again and listened to the live music (with a couple glasses of wine). It was amazing. Carboy has an assorted selection of food that can be ordered. We didn't order any, but it looked amazing and the people around us that did order things seemed happy with it. The only thing that we commented on was that when there's live music, we would have loved to have had the option of a food truck. If that had been the case, we both agreed that we probably would have stayed and had dinner there (as it was, we decided to leave and get dinner from a restaurant). If you're in Palisade (and are visiting wineries), I highly recommend Carboy. Personally, I'd skip the tasting 'flight' and go straight for a glass of wine, but that's mostly because the tasting varies from white to red (and I'm not a big fan of whites).

Beautiful patio and great drinks!! Service is top tear. Id recommend this place to anyone.read more

Of course I had to add salsa, because... obviously Patti went with the Huevos Rancheros and really liked it Tyler tried the Chile Relleno and said it was the best one he's had in forever -- bold statement, but he's sticking to it. I've had the Chile Relleno too, and I get it. Fresh poblano, Oaxacan cheese, refried black beans, sour cream, pickled onion, cilantro, cotija... just yummy. I also tried the Oaxacan taco and carne asada taco, and both were absolutely on point -- juicy, flavor-packed, and straight-up And yes, Dad's jalapeño sauces are a must. The green and red both add that perfect little kick And a big win--they've got a great selection of gluten-free options (clearly marked), so it's easy to navigate if that matters to you And since it's a Mexican restaurant, I had to partake in a margarita I went with the Pinky -- Dulce Vida Grapefruit Tequila, Naranja, fresh lime juice, and fresh grapefruit juice. Very tasty. Big shoutout to Sasha at the bar super knowledgeable, great vibes, and clearly a fellow GJ foodie with great recommendations. Service has been great all around both times.
