We tried three macarons (espresso, almond, and salted caramel), and every single one was perfection -- fresh, flavorful, and just the right size and sweetness. We also grabbed a shortbread cookie, which was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And let's not forget our pup! Lexi got a pumpkin cupcake with peanut butter icing, topped with a tiny bone-shaped treat -- not only adorable, but she devoured it. Definitely pup-approved! The cake was a vintage style cake and it quite elegant. The top two layers were vanilla with the bottom being chocolate. The cake was delicious, moist, with the perfect amount of buttercream icing. The guests absolutely loved the chocolate as it had layers of what looked like fudge in between the layers or cake. The slices were a mile high tall and did I mentioned the moistness of the cake?! It was amazing. The vanilla was delicious as well, but the chocolate was the crowd favorite. Our guests loved the cake.
