They don't know how to read the room or when to quit pushing a sale. Specifically the dark-haired woman. It's very frustrating to say "no thank you" three times and then have to get rude because they just won't stop trying to make a sale or argue with your reasoning. This was almost a great place to tan.. I'm very disappointed to say that the customer satisfaction at this place is NOT a priority. At first I thought it was great, I only tan a couple times/month. So, If you don't upsell, it's a decent price. Until, recently I planned to stay a member. I was told by two girls that if I froze my account, I would be charged a fee monthly but, that when I came back, it would be rolled over and used for a couple months of tanning. When I went back I found out this wasn't true. The manager Melissa, had no intention of upholding what the other girls said. She also had no intention of listening to me. And without listening, tried to convince me that I misunderstood. The conversation I had was clear, I was just misinformed and customer satisfaction should be at the top of the list if you are a store manager. With that being said, I had to cancel my membership just for the simple fact that I wasn't valued as a customer. It seems they lack integrity. It isn't about the money, though this could have been an easy fix. Don't tan here if you value courteous management! read more

I am a returning member to palm beach tan. I was a member for many years till I moved and there wasn't one close. Now there is a wonderful palm beach in Burleson near me. And there is another one near my school that I teach at. Becoming a member again was a breeze--. And this while wearing masks due to social distancing! The ladies there are super sweet and helpful! Returning customer to Palm beach in Burleson. I had signed up for the other place in Burleson and canceled my membership due to poor Customer service. So glad I did I have experienced nothing but professionalism and great customer service. I don't like tanning too many times a week sometimes once is enough. We all have our preferences. I have not been under any pressure to upgrade or to spray tan nothing like that. I know what I need and that's what I purchased and I am totally happy. I love this place! I've been to many tanning salons and this one is the best, hands down. I was greeted by staff as soon as I walked in, someone checked me in, escorted me to my room, told me about the amenities and the new machines and said to ask if I had any questions. I met the Manager, Melissa Messer, and she was so great! Very professional yet friendly, asked if everything went okay and did I want to book my next appointment. I will definitely be back! I started using Palm Beach Tan this past Thursday. I bought a single visit on a high pressure bed that allows you to go 12 minutes. I paid $27 for 1 time. They only let me go 6 minutes because they had no tanning history on me. Today I went back and used just the basic bed which 1 time cost $11. It was a 20 minute bed. They would only let me go 10 minutes cause I haven't used that bed before. My thinking is because I used a high pressure bed just 3 days earlier with no deep burn that I should have been allowed the full 20 minutes on the basic low pressure. I will never go there again. They told me they are the only tanning salon in Burleson with the exception of 1 which they bad mouthed to me about it bein dirty, low class, etc. I will drive to Mansfield if I have to before I use Palm Beach Tan again. WARNING: They are overpriced and cheat you out of minutes. Please shop around before using them. I wish I had. I also wouldn't give them any stars except I had to put in at least 1 to review it. read more

The only reason PBT is getting one star is because I don't have the option to give it zero stars. I am a long time customer of Darque Tan which is now PBT. On several occasions I have been in their locations. BUYER BEWARE!!! They have a policy if you do not tan EVERY DAY, they decline your tan time to 1/2. I was told you must tan an entire week for your time to be bumped up by 2 minutes. If you miss a day you are bumped back down at the employees decision. This is clearly a SCAM!! Its a way for them NOT to have to change their bulbs as often AND then they use their sales tactic on you and tell you that you should do a spray tan or go up a level. This is by far the worst tanning salon I have ever been to!!! I paid extra for the bronzing bed $60 a month, then was told I could only use the bottom of the line beds for 1/2 the time first week. Excuse me? I am 38 I think I know when to get out of a bed, then (oh it gets better!) I'm told my lotion will not work and could damage their bed because it was purchased more than 6 months ago. I said well I won't use any today and I'll get one before next time. Oh no!! They will not allow me to tan without lotion. So I said ok fine, what specials do you have. She shows me a lotion quotes it as $80 lotion with 25% off. Then proceeds to tell me she charged my card $190. To which I replied how does that add up? She said oh that lotion was a $103 we must not be having that special anymore. So let me get this straight...you quote me one price and charge me another, charge me for a bed I'm not even allowed to use and then tell me how long I can use ur bottom of the line bed?!? Ummm no thank you I'll go elsewhere!!! Worst experience ever!! What a scam. Did I add she stated she was the manager. When I asked when my refund would go back to my card she said "I don't know I refunded it have a good day!" Beware!!! read more

I recently unfroze my account and provided the girl witb my new debit card and asked if it was setup on autopay. She said yes. A month later... im due and need to pay.. of course i dont have my card on me because i didnt think i would need it. I call the corporate office in mckinney and the girl says it was a miscommunication and there is a 10 fee. She would not take off the fee nor was there a manager or supervisor available that I could speak with. I call bs. You cant tell me there was a miscommunication when the agent on the phone was not there. All i was trying to do is pay them with my new debit card again and they are not courtsey enough to waive the fee. I will go else where to tan. Thanks. read more
