I love this location! The girls that run this place are so professional and friendly. They do what they can whenever they can but sometimes the wait is outrageous.. waited an hour the other night but now I know to go in and bring something to do haha. Updated*** Don't start an account with them they will rip you off and you aren't able to roll over your tans to the next month. Or cancel your account after the 20th of the month... SCAM. I consider myself a savvy and informed consumer. I read some of the reviews and called beforehand to confirm the details of the $15/mo deal. Long story short, I ended up paying approx $75 for a one time spray tan because it ended up being more affordable then what they originally proposing. Imagine my disappointment. I was a loyal baretan customer until they closed - apparently this place bought them. Anyway, they up sell you on everything. After paying for a mystic tan, I also had to pay for every aspect of the tan - I have no idea why that's not included in the price of the tan - I had to separately purchase the spray tan mix and bronzer (after years of mystic tanning I was completely perplexed by this), I also had to pay for the protective gear which obviously is necessary and has never before been an extra cost. Anyway, time constraints are a bitch and I had no other choice because I was leaving the next day. Had they been upfront on the phone I would have taken my business elsewhere. I gave two starts because the tan itself was fine. read more

I was very impressed with the customer service, cleanliness and effectiveness of this location! I don't tan often because it's inconvenient for me, but I had two weeks to get some color before a vacation and the Diamond/Platinum beds worked wonders! I would honestly never recommend this location to any of my friends. I alternate between this location and the one on Dupont and always run into the same issue here. Whoever is in charge of ordering supplies consistently drops the ball as they always seem to be out of of something. I come in for spray tans almost weekly and 3 different times in the 2 months when I have come in, they have been out of the protective booties that are necessary to avoid stained oompa loompa feet. The first time the girl at the desk comped me a pair of the $3 sticky pads to put under your feet which was much appreciated. However, I was informed last night that they are no longer able to offer this which in my opinion is poor customer service. Why should I have to pay to purchase an additional item because the company poorly manages inventory levels? Also, it would have been nice to be given a heads up by the girls at the desk that there were no booties in the room before completely undressing, only to have to redress and come back to the front desk to be told "we ran out this morning." Frustrating! I recommend the Irvine Dupont location for much better service. read more

Palm beach tan is the best tanning spot in OC. I love how accessible they are with so many locations. Been to a few of them but this location on Jamboree keeps me going back for than anything because of their employees. Everyone I've met so far has been incredible with their service. I love Palm Beach Tan because of the many locations. No matter where I am at in OC I can find one. The hours are later than other tanning places. (open till 10 most of the days I think?) The one I go to the most is on Jamboree in Tustin. The beds great, the place is immaculate and Samantha and Anh are very competent and sweet. Came in 4th of July. I had a great experience with Allison, she was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the products. She offered me a moisturizer and it was exactly what I needed. I could tell she was new at PBT, but still did great! Very professional and eager to do a good job, that's what I expect from customer service. I had a major surgery so I froze my account when I was finally able to spray tan and more businesses made major changes that were necessary. I went in last weekend and it was busy ..no biggie it was late in the day on a Saturday sun was shining taking it easy. One of the reasons for this yelp is to say that Cynthia and Dakota were working that day and there were non-stop they were doing the best that they possibly could to sanitize the beds and take care of the customers that were waiting some customers did not have patience but it's like going to a doctors office...you always have to wait especially when it's busy and it is what it is so kudos to Cynthia and Dakota. I as a customer now able to go back to doing what I like to do notice how hard these two girls were working. The inpatient customers were rude and the place was busy so they had to wait their turn had nothing to do with the employees they were running around trying to accommodate so if anyone says anything bad / negative about these employees then They should buy their own tanning bed and use it in their own house. read more

This store honestly is terrible. They never have their shelves stocked and when it is stocked it's of something now one buys. Austin is just a terrible manager who let this location fall apart. Customer service is terrible and wasn't very knowledgeable. Tried filing a report with the DM Tyler Anne but was also ignored and blown off. Where is corporate managing their management team. Very disappointed in this store and location. I demand something be done to both of these managers for horrible customer service. read more

Visited Palm Beach Tan this week. Store was clean, staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful. I will definitely be back to tan again.

I went to Palm Beach Tan and The manager Ashley was working for two weeks all by herself. She managed to keep the store open and help everybody that came in here and now as of this week she's got 3 employees working for her now and going to be hiring two more so if you want to go to a store that's fully equipped and got everything you need including they have wonderful beds wonderful staff and I go to only this Palm Beach Tan. I really love to come to. Again Ashley is the manager and she's fantastic but they do have a full staff now so it's wonderful if you can show up here read more

Great salon best I have ever been too fans in beds are awesome u do not sweat great prices if u get a membership for $14.95 + 20 the first time u pay that but figure it is $1.00 a day at one tan a day For 30 days I do the silver bed went once and I am tan got that beach felling as if u layed out for 3 hours it is too hot outside to layout staff are upmost professional Kaitlin signed me up and next month it is only $14.95 that is 0.50 cents a tan debited from checking acct every month buy the dark tanning cream it lasts forever that price is for the silver bed u can upgrade to more powerful beds if u want for not much more read more

I go in about once a week at least for a spray tan and every time I go in I feel like I'm catching up with friends. I've never been a fan of this location, but had spray tans transfer over from another tanning salon so I was kind of stuck there. Today I asked for one single spray tan... I was told with 2 add ons it would be $56 which is absolutely crazy because a custom air brush tan is $39 in Newport Beach. She then was trying to hook me into a terrible membership. Oh yeah I want to get into a monthly contract and pay over $50 a month for ONE crappy mystic tan. Seriously, why do they even have a mystic booth? It's not 2003. Where's the Versaspa? I elected to do just a basic mystic and was disappointed. The spray stopped toward the end so my back side didn't get sprayed. I had to get completely dressed to go to the front to tell the employee about it (seriously the only tanning salon without robes) and she acted like the world was ending. She then nagged how bad her day was going (really this is customer service? I have half a spray tan!) She then said she had to clean the booth and then I can respray. I couldn't stay as I was already running late and she didn't offer ANYTHING! Not a free tan for next time, not my money back... nothing but telling me how bad her day is. I am sitting here looking like a zebra with an uneven, terrible tan. I will never ever be back. read more

The ads they run are incredibly annoying and insulting. I get their ads multiples times a day and I don't give two cents about tanning. The best part about the ads is they are targeted to woman and I'm a guy. "You aren't you without your tan." This is incredibly insulting to say you aren't you unless your beautiful or some such bull crap. read more

And both times they have kept me waiting loonnnnng time and seem to forget about me even though I'm right there in the front. Each girl seem to be distracted. The facility is fine, but nearly every time I tan the wait is ridiculous. They rarely have more than one person working so if someone is signing up, or cancelling, or new to tanning and needs help or beds need to be cleaned, that poor staffer runs around like a headless chicken while the line grows. I've walked out on several occasions. If there was another tan place close to where I live I'd switch immediately. read more

This place is a scam, I went to another palm beach tan location in July of 2014 to cancel my 80 some dollar plan a month which is to much for a tanning package. I just received an e-mail stating that I owed 93 dollars and my plan wasn't actually cancelled. I called and they stated you can't cancel your plan by telephone and told the manager what happened she stated that she couldn't do anything for me and I would have to pay the $93 dollars and if I didn't than fees would start building up. So I had to drive there and pay again to cancel my membership a little fishy, also why could they at least help me out and prorate my cancellation. No luck it is a joke this company tries to to capture you in a scam for you to keep Latin with out you knowing. Watch your bank accounts even after you cancel your subscription. read more

First review I've ever written...but I am so annoyed with them, I'm going to. New owners, same beds, more expensive, and everyday questioning about what tanning lotion you are using - and now you have to have a 24 hour gap in between each session (and 23 hours will not work!!) In trying to cancel due to upcoming knee surgery and will be on crutches for 6 weeks, they WILL NOT cancel through an email - after several back and forth emails - they will not budge. Because why??? I signed a contract - per Amber, the "manager". I refinanced my house through emails, but apparently this is too risky to do in this situation. I typically buy sessions in the spring, tan for the summer, and then let it go during the winter. I will NEVER go back here due to the hassle they have unnecessarily created. read more
