Convenient place with good fresh produce. Nice staff and it's a very well stocked place. I'd stop here again.

They do carry certain items that I can't always find elsewhere, which is a plus. That said, the prices are definitely on the high side, and the fresh produce selection is pretty limited. I also rarely ask employees where things are because most of the workers seem to be concentrated near the front of the store. Starbucks also closes too early, which is disappointing when you're there later in the day. The biggest issue for me is the parking design--it's awkward and frustrating to navigate. Overall, it's convenient for picking up a few essentials, but I wouldn't consider it my go-to store for a full grocery trip.

The cake was advertised as tres leches, but it was incredibly dry. Instead of being moist and soaked with milk, the sponge was dry and crumbly. Most of my family took only a bite or two and didn't want to eat the rest. To make matters worse, we found what appeared to be a small bug inside one of the slices. That immediately ruined everyone's appetite, and the cake ended up being thrown away. We paid $29.99 for this cake and expected it to be fresh, especially since it was purchased several days before the "Best If Used By" date. Serving this at a birthday celebration was embarrassing. I hope Safeway takes bakery quality control more seriously because this experience was unacceptable.

I have shopped here for many years being that it is my neighborhood grocery store. Never have I ever encountered a situation where I have been accused of stealing, especially with someone standing right in front of me. During my scanning of items, I decided not to bag certain things being that they do not need bag therefore, a young gentleman he did the check did the scan, and he went on about supporting another customer because the person that was supposed to stand at the registers, she walked away to ring up someone else on a different register Upon her return she asked me was I going to scan the items that were left in my cart and I informed her these items were very much so already taken care of. She told me she did not believe me and requested to see my receipt and being that I had nothing to hide. I showed her and she tells me the top three items on my receipt were not on my receipt as if I did not scan them. If I did not scan them how are they on my receipt? I'm not understanding I then made multiple calls to the store to file a complaint being that that was a horrible interaction. It was disrespectful. It was rude. It was unorthodox considering you're standing right there. I shop in the store almost every day spend hundreds of dollars each week. I am disappointed. I really hope that the manager takes things seriously regarding matters like this. People make hard earned money to go shopping for their families, and they are accused of stealing it baffles me to accuse someone of something when the evidence suggest otherwise and then you act as though you don't see those evidence. On this trip alone at self check out I spent $94.48 just for me to be humiliated and disrespected !

I started shopping at this store in 2016, right when they first opened. I thought it was wonderful to have another healthy food option besides Trader Joe's. It quickly became my favorite store in the area. I used to go three or four times a week. Over the years, I've seen how the store has changed in many ways--some good and some not so much. Many employees have come and gone, with very different personalities. Some of them made the experience really pleasant, but others did not. For a while, there was a produce section manager who said things to me that made me feel very uncomfortable. On several occasions, he commented that I should take off my wedding ring and have some fun. That bothered me so much that I started going to the store only when absolutely necessary. Later, a friend told me that this employee no longer worked there, so I started going back more often. The store was just as lovely as I remembered: many new faces, the same great selection of fresh products, and an amazing variety of gluten-free items. Unfortunately, I recently saw him again, now in a manager position, with the same attitudes and comments as before. Because of this, sadly, I will have to stop shopping here.

I hate having to go into any Walmart, let's face it, if you are honest, they are all dismal. The bathroom in this one was strewn in all the stalls with toilet paper that either people had used on the seats and let drop on the floor like animals before they left, or that their kids played with then littered the floor with. It depressed hell out of me. I noticed a broom and dustbin on the wall for the cleaning staff to use, and I decided to use it myself to at least push all the paper into one pile near the trash can. Once I did that, it was just one more maneuver of lifting it in two scoops with the dustpan into the trash can. Voila, a cleanly-swept floor. Walmart didn't pay me for this service. She always takes the time to help not only me but also many elderly customers with kindness and compassion. We all have somewhere to be I personally have minor scoliosis I was dying to be home after my own 8 hour shift. One of her coworkers had the AUDACITY to close Dez's line WITHOUT telling myself or anyone what to do, NOR redirecting us to another line. On the other hand, DEZ was quick. Her shift had ended, she was supposed to be off but DECIDED to help, call her manager to let Him know (TIM) that she would be going overtime AND, she was STILL checking people out. She THEN proceeded to contact another coworker to reopen her line to the remaining customers (that were left IN THE BLUE BY the second employee; white woman, with mask+air filter device) and asked him to stand at the end of the line so she could get relieved EFFICIENTLY. Oh and yes, I don't want to fail to mention that DEZ took care of US with kindness AND a smile. TIM YOU BETTER RECOGNIZE DEZ BY GIVING HER A RAISE BECAUSE ITS EMPLOYEES LIKE HER THAT WILL MAKE ME SHOP THERE AGAIN. And it's employees like the other one (air filter lady) that will keep me away and additionally bring YOU problems with all due respect. SHE NEEDS TO WORK ON HER COMMUNICATION etiquette.
