I had a great experience at Palm nails. I decided to try a new nail salon because I was tired of using the same colors at my regular salon. I prefer OPI or CND polish. They work best with my nails. A lot of salons do not have these brands or they have limited color choices. Almost every salon around me has Perfect Match, DND, gelish and other brands that chip on me. I looked on Yelp for a recommendation for a nail salon. Palm Nails had a ton of 5 star reviews. I called ahead to make an appointment since I was going on a holiday. I got right in, no waiting and they had both OPI and CND. I was happy. Mya did a great job, first the pedi then the gel mani. The owner was funny and he checked with all the customers to make sure everything was ok. The funny thing is that I recognized a girl (Kelly) working there, as she used to work at my regular salon. I know she does a good job on nails because she has done my nails before. The salon is clean and relaxing. I will be going back in 2 weeks. I may have found my NEW regular salon. read more

This was my 2nd visit and the first set was ugly but I gave them another chance so this time They put me with some man name HOAHN VAN NGYUAN. Let me tell you he was super rude! When he started putting on the fake nails and filing them into shape ( coffin ) I've noticed my middle finger was cricked. So I've told him nicely and he didn't agree. He said the reason it looked like that was Because my finger is cricked. So he fixed then starting doing my powder and then I've seen that my ring finger was super cricked. I told him how I didn't like it then he flipped!! He dropped everything and asked the lady next to him if it was cricked and she said yes it was then he even got more mad. So he had to fix it and started to be really rough with me, starting cutting me and just being really rude. I didn't even want to get a pedicure or have my flower design! While I was getting a pedi I heard one of the manicurist tell a lady in another chair to " just sit there and wait." The lady who did my pedi put so much polish on it puddled at the base of my toenails. An older gentlemen did my nails so thin one broke the first day. I want to love this place because I do like the owner a lot, but I had the worst gel manicure there. One of their male manicurists spent three entire time trying to convince me to do Dip which I hate. And then proceeded to give me the worst gel manicure I've had. Apparently the nail tech that did my pedicure thought my nails were too wide and decided to cut down the side of my toe nails while shaping them. I've never had a pedicure where they trim the width of the nail...Nor would I ever suggest it. Would rather do my own pedicure at home than go back to this salon and have to deal with this goofiness. Big toe's have been tender because of the way they were cut down the side shaped like "coffin nails". Hoping I don't get any ingrowns as my nails grow out. After having a terrible experience at another nail salon that had actually cut my finger and made divots in my nail beds, I asked around and multiple people suggested that I go to Palm Nails. Awesome manicure from Autumn! She is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. (The paraffin wax is definitely worth the upgrade.) Decided to try something new that was more conveniently located. Right off the bat, I was greeted by everyone. They were very attentive. Went in for both a manicure and pedicure. Place was clean! Manicure was nice, my manicurist sold me on some dip polish, but I felt it was slightly overpriced. Don't get me wrong I liked my manicure but $40 for a manicure is a bit ridiculous if you ask me. All she told me was that it was $10 more...so I should've paid more attention. That was my bad. My pedicure was great. I decided to go for the deluxe, definitely worth it. All and all the customer service here was exceptional. She paid attention to the slightest detail and made sure to ask me how I was doing or if things were ok every 10 minutes. This placed exceeded my hospitality expectations by far! Only complaint I had was the pricing for my manicure...again I just felt it was a bit much which is why I am giving this place a 4 star. read more
