They easily made time for me and when I arrived, was taken care of immediately. They made me feel so taken care of and loved. I got the Deluxe Pedicure and it was SO RELAXING!! I recommend Jenny for the pedicure.. she takes her time. Oh and their owner now is so kind. I left with a new set and fresh toes.. and a happy smile. Ive been coming to Palm Nails for over 4 years now and was surprise to see that Palm Nails was under need management. When I called I was greeting with a very sweet women who made sure to use my name and confirm my appointment. Walking in the salon it looks very similar however has the plexiglass between the technician and client. I was offered a bottle water while I waiting and picked from a brand new nail color selection. Philip did my gel set and was extremely friend and gentle while working on my quarantine nails. May did my pedicure and is very gentle as well. It has a different vibe from the previous owners however I do think it is for the better. They have a loyalty point system and offered a $10 certificate towards a future treatment. I will miss the old owner and techs how we I look forward to getting to know the new technicians and will be back. read more

Walked into Palm Nails on a Sunday morning after church, I was surprised that they're open 7 days. They were able to take me right away even though the salon was very busy. Michael did a beautiful job on my nails. Then Mai gave me the best pedicure I've had in 30 years. I just moved here from the Northwest side of town and I was doubtful I'd find a salon and a technician that I liked right away but this is the salon for me, I'll never go anyplace else. Everyone was so cheerful and happy. It was an amazing experience that I'll repeat every 2 weeks. I'm very picky about how I want my shape and have been to plenty of nail salons around the valley that just can't do a very VERY sharp, slightly curved, stiletto nail. I just had the rudest person today at this place. I was telling her that my nails don't look even and she ticked off and said "if I can't make you happy, do it yourself then!" My hubby and I just moved back to Vegas from Denver. I didn't realize how much I missed the pedicures here. In Denver they barely remove dead skin but here they got the past year and a half's worth of it off. They used the cuticle trimmers and razor (is that legal? I don't care, I love it!) and really took the time to do a great job. The massage was great and felt really long. They chatted with me a little but not too much. I was able to catch up on the Ellen show and news. I wish they had wifi so I could get some work done but that is my only complaint. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

The girls are pretty nice but I got my nails done with one of the guys and he was Very impatient and he didn't follow instructions. I got a gel manicure and I asked him to paint closer to my cuticle and he kept ignoring me. Result, after one week, my nails were looking bad and cracking, I guess the polish was bad or old. This is the most racist, unprofessional, UNSANITARY AND RUDE joint I've been to since moving to Las Vegas I brought my handicapped Mother here after she was released from the hospital, and as I opened the door Michell SCREAMS out "you make appointment"!!! I said it's for my Mom, and she has an appointment. ( I was very embarrassed to get yelled at publicly) There was no one getting a pedicure, so I went to sit in the chair next to Mom and keep her company. Michell yells, NO, READ THE SIGN AS SHE SHAKES HER FINGER AT THE SIGN ON THE WALL, it reads, chairs are only for paying customers. (Chatter now in Filipino from all the girls, more embarrassment as other patrons look at me) If Mom wasn't already seated I would have taken my business elsewhere immediately. My suggestion to anybody who goes into a salon and all they do is speak Filipino back and forth is leave, throw down $1.00 and leave. Rude Rude Rude! So I went around the corner, literally Eastern and Wigwam to Hannah Nail Salon where I was politely greeted when I walked in, offered a cold water, and asked what kind of services I wanted. Now that's how you get people coming back! We exchanged pleasantries, and I had a relaxing pedicure without being embarrassed, humiliated and abused. SO STINKY!!!!! I know that nail salons are NOT known for their alluring smells, and I've been to plenty of stinky nail salons, but this place nearly knocked me over when I walked in. There was no moving air that I could detect and it smells like the place hasn't been aired out in years. I would have just turned around and left if I didn't need the pedicure/manicure for an event coming up immediately. I feel bad for the people who work here. Their health is seriously in danger; I'm not just saying that. It was BAD!! Many times in stinky salons, the smell eventually dies down as you get used to it, but that never happened during my manicure and pedicure. It was a thick, pungent STENCH that never left. OPEN A WINDOW! (Oh yeah, none to be found.) BUY A BUNCH OF FANS AND OPEN THE DOOR ONCE IN A WHILE. Sheesh... There was a thin young man who did my manicure who did a great job-- very gentle. He was great. But I got cut while getting my pedicure and it hurt. (I'm not a baby about pain, either! Had two babies naturally, no drugs. But that little cut made me yelp!) It's kind of a pet peeve to get cut while getting a pedicure. It's like, SLOW DOWN!!! Anyway, the smell alone will keep me from every returning. I've been coming here for I don't even know how long...since they opened? Anywho, I never fret when I come here. Everyone in this shop is on top of their game. I used to require women only to handle my delicate feet *lol because I found that men were so rough elsewhere. Not here! So again, whomever you get, you'll be taken care of. They never rush. I always set my massage chair for 30 minutes. By the time 30 min. is up, your person is still working your feet. I have to set another 30 min. gladly while I get pampered. Mai, Demi, and Robert definitely stand out, but the entire crew can't be beat and I've been many places since a spa is on every corner like a 7-Eleven!! Lastly, they take care of you. Polish smeared? Let me start by saying I hate leaving bad reviews and usually let things go but this time I felt really strongly to share my experience with you guys. I went to get my nails done for a wedding I'm attending and my birthday. The shop owner greets me with a dirty look. She asks me the services id like and I pick my color (I took 3 because I wasn't sure) and set them on the side table of my pedicure chair. A couple of minutes into the service the shop owner starts yelling in her language and the lady doing my feet asks for the colors to place next to her. It made me feel like they felt I was going to steal the colors or something. I had picked out a red but changed my mind and asked to see the stack of gel colors. The lady doing my feet gets up and grabs a stack and I start looking at colors. About a minute later the shop owner starts yelling at her again and she comes back with a towel that had hair on it ( i get so disgusted by hair) and grabs the colors throws this gross towel on me and tells me I have to put the towel over me to look at the colors. By this time I was starting to feel a little discriminated against but I keep my cool. I pick a color and they tell me they have NO matching colors for gel and regular polish (never been to a salon like that) and so I decide to pay for the pedicure and leave as I had had enough. The whole shop starts talking in their language and staring at me and the shop owner makes a snide remark about me going elsewhere they also demanded a tip. I will NEVER EVER come back here. I just wanted my nails done. Not to be treated like I was dirty or something. You guys should be ashamed for yourselves. Treat all your guests with respect, we come here to relax. I have been a coming here for about 6 years now. Demi is my eyebrow lady, she is the best!! I drive from North Las Vegas just for her, totally worth the drive for me. When I moved across town I tried waxing my eyebrows at another place close to my house but left super disappointed. This women knows what she's doing!! And the price is fairly cheap..$13 including tip. She's also done my gel manicures before and she has been the only person who's gel has last the full 2 weeks plus..she is AMAZING! Came here for a full set on the suggestion of a friend. Asked for a full set, almond shape, black with some basic spider webs on my ring fingers. The technician that did my nails was not clear what an almond shape was, so I explained it to her, and ultimately she did give me a good shape. My polish was also neatly applied, and I didn't end up with bubbles, which is my most frequent issue. The problem I had with my experience was that my technician was rushing even though the shop was not super busy, and she was downright careless with the drill. I have clumps of dried acrylic under some of my nails, and several spots on multiple fingers that she cut my skin with the drill. She had great difficulty communicating, and her English was very poor, so instead of the spider webs I asked for I got chunky gold glitter on my ring fingers; something I would never ask for. I like a dark or red polish, and only request nail art during Halloween. She was so rushed that I didn't realize what she was doing until she was painting the glitter, then didn't understand when I was telling her no. My friend that suggested the shop had an amazing experience, so I really wanted to like this place. Overall, I'm pleased with the shape and application of the color polish I chose, but the cutting of my skin with the drill is a deal breaker for me. read more
