As we were moving into a house, a rat infestation was found and the landlord had PureCor come out. The technician was great and thorough and gave us important instructions for staying safe. The landlord didn't like that he confirmed an infestation and suggested complete treatment, so he called Palm Springs Pest Control to try and get a cheaper quote for less work. I guess he got it. Palm Springs Pest sent out a young guy named Christian, who did a cursory look and put down some poison traps, one in the house and a couple outside. He used a shop vac in the contaminated area and then sprayed something that smelled like Lysol and wadded up a "have a nice day!" plastic shopping bag and put it in the area of the entry hole the rats were using and called it "sealed and sanitized." The traps contained two poisons that are illegal in California as they are dangerous to humans and pests. I said this to Christian and he contended that it was okay, even though the trap was clearly marked with the poison name and the Palm Springs Pest Control Logo. We had Truly Nolan come out a couple of days later and they expressed surprise that not only were there new droppings but the bag showed evidence that the rats had been chewing on it. ln the two months we tried to get the problem solved, it never was. Palm Springs Pest Control removed their traps after two weeks and the pest activity has continued. Today we were in court with the landlord and he brought copies of texts with Christian where Christian was insulting us, saying the house was "dirty" (moving boxes), saying that when I asked about sanitation he said, "We aren't housekeepers" (it's not a housekeeper's job to sanitize hazmat). Worse, he was colluding with the landlord, taking instructions on what to include in the report and what not to. If you want an inept punk to come out to your house, put poison down to endanger you and your pets, and then shit talk you and gossip about your private residence with someone else, Palm Springs Pest Control is the way to go. Do not use this company. They cancelled / rescheduled twice during the sale of our home which is a stressful time with time restraints to be met. We paid them immediately via the link they provided. We then for TWO months after keep receiving harassing calls and emails threatening to report us to collections for non payment. We provide our credit card bill showing the $175 charge went through. They said that would suffice. Then 2 weeks later they contacted us again with threats to report us. I then had to call our credit card to dispute the claim to get our money back to finally wake up this company that they were paid!!! We told them immediately when the first reached out that the invoice link they provided now showed $0 due, the credit card statement, reference and ID #s directly from the credit card customer service and that was not enough. I work in dispatching and this office (meaning Iris) obviously does not know the basics of her job. Never using this company again and beware anyone else wanting to use them , their office personnel will call you to change the price of the service simply because Iris does not know how to search addresses when clients are calling to book appts. I am in escrow and the last date to have a termite inspection was tomorrow. This was relayed to Iris when this job was booked over the phone. After they called to change the price on me , I easily canceled the appt. and happily went to another company that was really easy to communicate with and got me an appt as soon as today (thank goodness for them!). read more

I call this company for a termite inspection and was told they would call me on Friday to set up something for The following Monday. No one called on Friday and someone call me on Monday saying they were coming over. They did not have an appointment. When I criticize the fact that they did not call me on Friday to set anything up they said they would call me back and come out on Wednesday or Fridayand would set up the inspection. They never called me back. I initially spoke with Carlos and then I name similar to Augusta. They have been recommended to me and I was very disappointed that they didn't follow through with what they said they would do as of today I have still not heard from them and now I know that they are not dependable at lease in my Opinion. I got a call from Dustin that he would come out to do the termite inspection which they came out yesterday but it wasn't Destin it was Augustine and he said there was nobody named Dustin that were there so they were supposed to do a free termite inspection and they refused to go up in my atticI one-story house just to check for termites. Other companies had gone to the attic. Augustine he had to call his boss because they don't go up in peoples attics to check for termites. I ally f said he was going up to the attic. He examined inside and outside of my house and said there were no termites anywhere. He said Thursday morning at 8 PM June 30 at 8 AM to do the pest-control. Now he just called me to tell me it'll be nine or 930 . I mentioned to him that he had taken my two-step small ladder into my guest bathroom and left it there open and then I almost walked into it last night. E denied using my two step ladder at all and that he had left it in the bathroom. That really upset me because he was calling me a liar. He most certainly did leave the two-step ladder in there because I almost fell over it walking into the bathroom last night. And I did not use it. That was another argument. At this point I just don't trust this company at all. They don't do what they say they're going to do and they don't show up and they're supposed to and now they lie about the whole using my ladder and leaving it open in mice very small bathroom. Seven years ago I purchased my home and shortly after realized I had rats in the attic. I hired a pest control company and had spent the past seven years and $3,000 dollars trying to figure out how they were getting in. I wanted to sell my house because the thought of rats running around in my attic made me sick. Although skeptical Carlos would find the problem, I thought "what else do I have to lose?". Carlos and his team found the problem! It was a pipe coming up from the sewer that the builder probably should have had go through the roof. The pipe was buried under the insulation and Carlos was able to find it using a smoke machine. I lived with rats for 7 years and in one day they were gone! I told Carlos I would write a review, but not for a few months so that I could make sure I was rat free -- I am rat free! Called the next day John was not available but another man came out only to tell me that I am not having a bug problem that the bites on my legs and hands are not from fleas or any other bug; Instead of helping me find a solution he came with his pockets filled with excuses, No one was trying to put one over on you that was in your head, I turned to you for professional help and got an amateur response. You should never call a customer a liar no matter how subtle you're being. You weren't there you dont know and no matter how good you think you are I will never do business with you again because paying $120 should have fixed the problem but no the nightmare continued. The worst. Absolutely the worst customer experience I have had in the desert. They bill for service that wasn't completed. After 4 conversations informing them that the service was not completed, I continue to get stalking e-mails from Claudia. Bordering on harassment. This after I created a plan with the service tech regarding proof of service. The disconnect between the office and the service team is embarrassing. I recently moved into my home full time and suddenly this issue appeared. Which makes me wonder if they were billing for service that wasn't completed when I was here part time. Horrible experience with this company! I had some termites in my plantation shutters of one of my bedrooms. Called this company in June and after the inspection, the rep recommended that they tent my home for termites to be sure they were completely eliminated. I paid the $3500 fee and had it done the following week. About a month and a half later, we had some pretty heavy monsoon rains and my roof leaked for the first time in the 4+ years I've had the home. I had a roofer come to inspect and he noted, and showed me, that I had over 150 broken terra cotta tiles on my roof...most looked very freshly broken. No one had been on my roof since this pest control company had been up there in June to tent the house. To replace and repair my roof the cost was $4000. When I contacted this company regarding the extensive damage to my roof they claimed no responsibility and told me I signed a disclaimer that they would not be responsible for damage to my roof. I've had my home and office building in Long Beach tented in the past and signed similar disclaimers...but, there was never any damage caused by other companies. The person at this company called me back later that day and said they did a count prior to tenting and noted 15 broken tiles and after tenting a total of 30 broken tiles...so, they are claiming to have only broken 15 tiles. Not sure how the rest got broken since no one has been on the roof since??? He also informed me that the owner would be contacting me and now it's been a month and I've never been contacted. I definitely do not recommend this company unless you want to end up with additional home repairs needed. This company has no ethics in taking responsibility for their actions. read more
