I haven't had Korean BBQ in a very long time. I was invited to a birthday celebration to this place. I had never heard of it. I think it's fairly new. So it's Korean BBQ, all you can eat. Eat all the meat you can: they serve beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp. And all the sushi and sides that come with it too. If you're familiar with Korean BBQ then you know the sides are the best. My favorite sides were Kimchi, Bean sprouts, cucumber and potatoes. The service was great! Sometimes they may take a while to get to you but they will not forget you. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining (with beautiful water fountains outside). Price: I think it might be pricey for some but it's totally worth it for all the food you get. Entertainment: You can expect karaoke singing! I don't sing but I love the entertainment. The manager Rex was very nice to accommodate our huge party. He had this great smile and great energy to match our group! Honorable mention - thank you Steve for playing the Sax. A bonus entertainment. Tips: This restaurant is located in a golf course so it might be confusing to find at first. But if you have the correct address you will get there. Thank you to Rex and staff for the hospitality and for not rushing us out when it was near closing time! Until next time...

Palm Tree Restaurant & Sushi is a Japanese-Korean American fusion eatery. They do a reasonably decent job in preparing the Korean and American foods. I've only tried the Korean and Japanese dishes. So this review will be focused on what we ordered. Gskbi - 3.5/5 The Galbi was tasty and marinaded properly. The ribs has many strands of costal cartilage throughout the meat that made parts of the ribs tough. Some ribs were also very fatty. Otherwise, the Galbi was decent. Bento Box - 4/5 Not a bad selection. The teriyaki chicken was tasty and the sides of salad, edamame, japchae, etc were all good. Overall, I feel that if they concentrated on a struct Korean food menu, they can focus on what they do well. Doing an American fusion menu where you can order a cheese burger, or a bulgogi burger might appeal to a few golfers that might visit Palm Tree as their 19th hole, but might be confusing. Palm Tree has potential to be a very good Korean/Japanese restaurant if they eliminate the American dishes.

Totally discovered this place and went to celebrate a birthday. Having traveled to Korean earlier in the year we were craving Korean food and Palm Tree did not disappoint. Lovely staff who help cook the meats, also gave suggestions for pairing the meats and Bonchon bites together. Loved it!

This is the restaurant at Brentwood Golf Course. It has a lot of potential, but it's not firing on all cylinders yet. A round of golf came with free lunch yesterday. My brother got the cheeseburger and I got the spicy Ramen. They have an American menu, a Korean menu and a sushi buffet. The Roman was good and it had a nice service presentation... I haven't had the sushi yet. Again, the potential is great for this place, but I don't know if they'll be able to accomplish making all the different varieties of food and have them all be awesome. I think this would be a 3 1/2 star review if that was possible.

What an awesome experience! From the moment we walked in, the energy here felt friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food was fresh and the service honestly stood out in the best way. I noticed a few reviews saying it can feel "chaotic" or that meats are brought without asking, but after coming here, it's clear people misunderstood. They do ask first and they're simply excited for you to try their best cuts. It's not pushy; it's passion. You can tell they take pride in serving good, high-quality food. One of the owners, Soon, even came over to help cook some of our meats. She's incredibly humble and sweet. You can feel how much she loves what she's doing and how much she wants everyone to enjoy the experience. It almost felt like being welcomed into someone's home. The meat quality is excellent, the banchan is fresh, and everything tastes like real care was put into it. Palm Tree isn't your typical AYCE spot. It's a new local restaurant with heart, attentive service, and flavors worth coming back for. If you love good food and genuine hospitality, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

5/5 stars for the Palm Tree Sushi Buffet, because the foods were made fresh and cooked fresh. The food items were so delicious and juicy. The sushi foods were served fresh; and, both of the hot and cold sushi food items tasted very good. On top of that, the place is very relaxing and the atmosphere is very pleasantly quiet. The sit down tables and chairs are super comfortable and the champagne glass of water was classy to enjoy. The customer service provided by the waiter named Steve was excellent and was very helpful in selecting food items with us. I would recommend this place and I would return back for more of their delicious tasty handmade and handcrafted foods. I highly recommend their fried oysters and their sushi rolls.

I was driving home from my workout on Balfour and this humongous yellow sign caught my eye. I drive past the Brentwood Golf Club on the way home all the time and seeing the big words ALL YOU CAN EAT Sushi, Korean BBQ, and Hotpot caught my eyes immediately. I was like, well that's new! Moving here to Brentwood 2 years ago, my husband and I have to drive to Livermore or Concord to get our ACYE fix because Brentwood lacks this. Came strolling in to try the place just because we love trying out all the restaurants here in Brentwood to support our local businesses. We walked into a large spacious restaurant with floor to ceiling windows, I appreciated it felt so airy and open. Was informed that only the sushi ACYE was available today but KBBQ and hotpot will be added in the next few weeks. Lunch pricing 24.99 and dinner 29.95. Excellent pricing, a steal to be honest so we weren't expecting the food to be amazing because normally ACYE spots aren't all that great but boy were we wrong. Bite after bite of each dish we ordered my husband's eyes and mine got wider and wider. We just kept uttering "here in Brentwood?!?! Wow!!! Holy crap!" My husband and I have been to all the sushi restaurants here in Brentwood and nothing compares to this place. The quality and portion of the fish to rice ratio beats every other restaurant we tried here. The service was phenomenal. You can tell the owners and employees were so proud of their food. I really cannot wait to come back to try their hot pot and bbq but if they only served sushi too I would come back. I left that restaurant so incredibly happy with food and service. I'm scared of this place blowing up and having it get so busy I'll have to wait for a table. But they deserve all the business they can get. Go! I promise you won't regret it!

This has easily become one of our favorite places to eat at! We're so excited to have an AYCE sushi and Korean BBQ place local to Brentwood! The staff is always so kind and helpful! You can tell they are equally as excited to be there and share the sushi/KBBQ experience! We have done both sushi and korean several times and each time have left happy and oh so very full! We love the variety of menu offerings! Heard they are looking to start karaoke and other fun themed nights! Can't wait to see what comes next!

Amazing food! Great service! And loved being outside with the heaters. A 10/10 experience. I can't wait to bring all my friends here to enjoy all the amazing selections. I will be back... and I will be hungry

Food was very good, abundant & affordable! Service is topnotch! Very accommodating owners & staff! The owner playing the saxophone for a birthday song was wonderful! Only problem is the location, not a lot of locals are probably aware we have a great Korean BBQ in Brentwood!

Kbbq
Mica A.

A hidden gem found in Brentwood! I'd recommend the AYCE Kbbq experience, it's held outside the restaurant and the servers do a great job at cooking the food for you and making sure you are well fed. It felt like I was having Korean bbq at my grandma's house. The AYCE experience felt very homey and will come back soon to try their sushi

One of the chef's recommendations- so tasty!

The all-you-can eat portion of this restaurant is perfect for sushi eaters who like to "pack it away!" You will get a great deal here! We had the all-you-can-eat, and the food just keeps coming! We had at least 9 different things, and we left thoroughly stuffed! The staff were very friendly, especially the gentleman making the sushi! Just a really nice guy! What I can say: He knows what he's doing! He pumps out rolls and offers great tasting rolls based off of individual likes and preferences. This man knows his craft. The rolls were flavorful and there were some we had never experienced before but really liked. The chicken teriyaki was very good, as well as the miso soup. The sushi master offered a spicy seared tuna which was very good. Everything we had tasted good and we had a nice experience. They have a very nice kitchen area and restaurant here. I recommend!!

What a great local business to support and a major addition to Brentwood! The fish is incredibly fresh, flavors are on point. I cannot wait to see this new restaurant thrive!

We later found out the café had been here for 60 years. Most of the patrons seem to be regulars, knowing the servers and chatting with them, a good sign. I ordered the Joe's Scramble with hash browns and wheat toast. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict with country potatoes. We didn't have to wait long, and you definitely get your money's worth - the servings were quite large. We ate well, and had enough leftovers for dinner. My wife particularly praised the country potatoes. Good to see some of these long time restaurants have managed to last to the current day.

Service was fast and friendly, and we soon had our food. Both omelettes were tasty. The lunch also came with hashbrowns and several slices of buttered white toast. Omelette size was sufficient albeit not generous. Paying for the meal was a snap with a QR code provided on the receipt. I really like this method for the security and convenience. The things I like best were the chow mein which was not super flavorful but also surprisingly NOT greasy! Beef and broccoli was good, orange chicken also good. I don't eat shrimp but my daughter does and she didn't like it. Greasy and not cleaned well as other people have said(I would not recommend this at all, clearly a consistent problem).
