Fantastic breakfast spot! Had breakfast there this morning and it was great. I've heard of Miller's in Antioch before, but have never been. The Brentwood location might become my new breakfast spot. It's tucked out of the way, near the baseball fields, in a business park. I was familiar with the location, as my girls used to go to Black Diamond gymnastics in the past. Parking was plentiful and the outdoor patio seating was very pleasant. I was meeting someone there for breakfast. When I arrived I was directed to their table right away. I was Immediately offered a drink and they were very swift with service. They have quite an extensive breakfast menu and I look forward to coming again and trying more items. This trip I got the linguica omelette with pepper jack cheese, country potatoes and sourdough toast. The omelette was a very good size and very tasty. I loved the country potatoes, the seasoning was great on them. I wish they had a little more char, but that's just me. The meals came out quickly and staff was very attentive. I definitely look forward to coming again and bringing the family. I think the menu has enough variety for anyone to find something they like. Again, staff was pleasant when arriving and leaving greeting me on the way in and thanking me on the way out. Seems like a great staff and they care about their patrons. Service and food is lacking. This review is based on not being impressed the first time, and ultimately being disappointed the second time, and I wouldn't go again. From the first visit, which was close to their opening date. I still remember my chorizo being black because they burnt the food. The waitresses took forever to take our order. On this second visit, the restaurant was pretty empty. Two to three tables were busy, and behind the counter were four waitresses. We were seated right away, but no one came by to take our beverage order. We had time to review the menu, make a decision, and sit there and wait. In addition, a waitress checked on a table by us, and did not stop by our table to check in. The wait led to "Should we leave?" "Yes." Upon walking out, they said thanks for stopping by. Did they even realize they did not serve us or were they being passive aggressive? Their servers have terrible customer service. and I'm sure these are the same people who demand a 25% tip for providing no service. Train them or get a new team. read more

Great brunch spot in Brentwood! They serve breakfast all day (open til 3) and a much better value than some other local spots. Miller's Cafe is located away from any major shopping areas, but has a cute a nice modern interior, plenty of parking and a clean, spacious dining area. I tried their spinach/mushroom omelette with egg whites which came with toast and hash browns. Large portions and nicely cooked. My partner tries the Tuna Melt and enjoyed. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Overall, great local spot for Sunday brunch. read more

First time at this location. Very cute inside. Odd that it's in a business park but great for surrounding businesses to have options. We came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Not too busy but was getting busier while we were there. Customer service was great! I ordered the JP Sandwich with a side of fruit. My husband got the Club sandwich with a side salad. I keep a list of good/bad ranch for all restaurants we go to and unfortunately, they ended up in the "bad ranch" for us. Besides that, we enjoyed our visit and will be back. read more

This experience was unfortunate on all angles. Here we go. Went for breakfast Saturday morning. And let me say, I don't love leaving bad reviews but this is unacceptable and not one apology. 1. Initially, the service was great, we sat quickly. Served coffee. Order taken. It was freezing inside but not a huge deal at first. * wasn't a fan of the table we got it was cold and right next to where servers got their food and was running back and forth causing a terrible draft, but not really deducting and stars for that just noted to not sit there again... 2. Coffee was never refilled. 25 min in. 3. No communication from server whatsoever until 35min in saying our order was coming out in minutes. 4. 45 min later one of us got our meal. (Pictured first) the food was cold (of course) and looked awful. Honestly seeing everyone else's food come out I was hopeful! 5. Another 5 min and our second meal came. The star is for that, it was as delicious as an eggo waffle and Tyson nuggets. It was fine we were starving so we ate that and then sat waiting for any 8 of their employees to apologize or even say something to check in? 6. Currently waiting on the check as we speak. Why am I waiting to pay for this absolute worst experience? Lol! But here I go with all the time in the world. They credited us for everything except the cold meal. Whatever, will never be back and I feel like you can't disrespect Scottie's old space like this, put some respect in there. Lol Overall, unfortunate to see a restaurant that could thrive but cares zero about the customer. I will give them that they only charged for one meal but really? First time at this location and it was nice and clean. It was 7:30 am and our waitress was super nice, prompt and answered my question about the corned beef. After my meal I went to the ladies room and BOTH rolls of toilet paper were completely empty!!! You just opened up... that means the closing crew and opening crew do not maintain the restrooms. Thank goodness for paper towels and a trash can. Besides the restroom experience; I feel the prices were a bit high especially since the corned beef is from a can. I did ask ahead of time and appreciate her honesty...not sure if we will come back. read more

We enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant! The restaurant has a nice interior: the decor is pretty and the space is large. There is also outdoor seating available. The staff are kind and professional- both waitress & cook. They have good AC and clean bathrooms! They are open 7 days a week 8-3, and serve breakfast and lunch all day. I was looking for a place in Brentwood to have brunch and this was perfect in all respects. There was a wide variety of food and each of the three of us tried something different. Everyone was more than satisfied. The service was exceptional, friendly, and very professional. I was surprised to learn that they had been open for only three months... This was our first visit. I had read a variety of reviews so we needed to go and find out for ourselves. From the moment we walked in until we left everything was positive. Bright cute place. We were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in. After we were seated we had drinks within a few minutes. The restaurant was full but we noticed they had plenty of servers and cooks so we received our food right away. They serve all day breakfast and lunch which works great for us because we always like the opposite! My husband had the Linguica and Eggs with Hash Browns and I had the Club Sandwich with no tomatoes and a side of Red Potato Salad. Everything was so good! I love a good club sandwich and this was so very good. I took half of my lunch home because the portions are large. I took a taste of the linguica and hash browns ...both really good. We are picky about linguica and this was very flavorful. The server was very attentive and came back multiple times to check on us. Oh and they have good music playing! While we were there we heard Englebert Humperdinck, Simon and Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison...etc..we love a good variety of music and they have it playing. New Excellent breakfast-lunch restaurant in town. The location is where Scotties Shutters was on Elken Way and Sunset streets. I had a pepper jack cheese omelette that came with perfect hash browns and toast. Everything was delicious. My husband had a chorizo and cheese omelette that he totally enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive. The Scotties dinner house look is replaced with a sparkling, white cafe. Can't wait to return. Walked in today and took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were standing there. Finally sat down near where the food comes out. It's was so obvious from the conversations we heard that none of the waitresses knew which food went to which table. The cooks had to keep touching and poking each burger to see what was inside. They kept moving fries and burgers to different plates, no gloves no washing hands in between! The waitress didn't even know they don't serve soup when I asked what soup they serve. My pancakes come out over 20 minutes before any other food came out but by that time, we told our waitress that we've been watching them poke and finger our other food and move it back and forth between other plates! Horrible how disorganized and unprofessional everything was! We will never be back! Only go if you want your food handled without gloves and touched by 5+ people before it gets to you 45 minutes later. So disappointed read more

I was SO EXCITED to try a new breakfast place. Ive been there when it was Scotties. Such a different vibe now, bright, and a beautiful floor. The waitress was so friendly and welcoming. Not sure who Fred is, but I got the breakfast sandwich with sausage. I have never had a breakfast sandwich with HASH BROWNS inside, but I will now. It was a huge sandwich and so yummy. read more

Was really excited to come and try this place! Unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The customer service was awful. Ordered 5 coffee's and 5 waters. We were served 4 coffees and 3 waters. Waitress said another waitress would bring the remaining drinks. We waited 25 more minutes for our drinks which never came and had to ask again. Then we requested a refill for coffee the waitress over filled the cup and said "oops" and walked away. Did not come back to help clean the spilled cup or gave any extra napkins. The restaurant was also very cold, many customers were complaining. It took an hour for our food and EVERYTHING was cold . I'm really hoping these issues can be addressed. It seemed like the staff was very inexperienced, and overwhelmed. The only positive to the breakfast was it had good flavor and would have been wonderful if it wasn't cold. Luckily customer service can always be fixed! I will try this location one more time in case they had a bad day. read more

Overall, not my favorite. Food left much to be desired. Omelette was overcooked and lacked any seasoning or flavor. The cheese didn't melt and seemed 'dusty' or muddied. Tasted like fake eggs. Chicken fried steak could tell was frozen and over fried - the coating separated and the gravy was cold. We sat ourselves and grabbed our own menus. Waitresses were super friendly and always pleasant and smiling. There was great parking and restaurant was clean, and slightly chilly. Doesn't quite make up for the food. read more

My family and I tried this place two weeks ago. We were seated right away but the table was still dirty and the floor under my daughter's seat is so dirty and sticky. It's a Saturday and the place is full so we let it go. When our food arrived, my chicken fried steak was good but the country potato that came with it tasted like it's been in the fridge for a while. My daughter's breakfast burrito needs a lot of seasoning and my husband's burger was dry and looks like the pre shaped burger you buy from the grocery. My other daughter's breakfast sausage was good she said. Also, while my husband was eating, he found a string of thread under his fries. They apologized and took that meal off the bill. I was hopeful that this new cafe would be a decent spot for lunch considering how close it is to Knightsen. Unfortunately the food was pretty bad. My order was to go, and I tried the French dip with onion rings. Once I got to my car I double-checked the bag and found they had forgotten to give me au jus-the most important part-but at least I was able to run back in and get it. The sandwich itself has less meat than I've ever seen on a sandwich-just two slices of roast beef (one in each half). The onion rings weren't fried long enough and were soggy even though I tried to eat them on the drive home-plus the worst part was they didn't separate the rings before battering and frying, so I just got two large fried blobs of onion. The staff was nice, but unfortunately for me that isn't enough to make up for the food. read more
