    Spritz with gin

Finally made it over to the Conrad! What a beautiful resort with plenty of fun places for food and drinks. We stopped for a drink at the Papaya Club before dinner, and the ambiance in there is gorgeous. Feels just like a tropical beach vacation! We didn't try any of the food, but it looked good as well. I chose the spritz drink with gin; it wasn't my favorite, but there is a whole book of tiki drinks to choose from and I know tiki drinks are often on the sweeter side. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful, and I'd love to come back!

Stopped by on Saturday and had an amazing meal! We had the poke bowl & the chicken Thai noodle bowl. I added Serrano peppers to my poke bowl and it was *chef's kiss* The poke bowl was so filling and delicious. I can't stop thinking about it! I want to go back and have another! It was truly so amazing and refreshing!

Service was fantastic, food was just ehhhh, I expected a lot more for what I was paying. Environment is very relaxed, situated between the pool and the lagoon, it's open air dining. Although, they do have a poo poo platter... So they get points for having poo poo on their menu. And no, I won't grow up.

Full disclosure: I came with a friend who works at Hilton headquarters so I got all the following food items 50% off. We sat by the lagoon, which is beautiful and ordered food and drinks from the menu and they were brought to us, so this was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Our server Carmen went above and beyond and brought us an ice bucket to cool down the drinks we even brought in. For starters we had the Asian Hummus, which was a very fun twist to the typical Mediterranean spices and I loved it. We also had the calamari and fried okra. The sauce was really good. Finally I had the papaya burger, and for a beach bar I did not have high hopes but it was actually really taste and done medium rare how I like it. We were also given complimentary scented towels and frozen grapes! I was impressed overall with the food and would come again.

Well next time I come to the Conrad you definitely find me in the club. The Papaya Club that is! What a great spot located right under the beautiful Conrad, Over looking the huge lagoon/ pool. The spot is low lit and with some good weather it is a great date spot. Starter: to start of the night we got some octopus, this was a grilled dish with some sauce the octopus was cooked perfectly not chewy at all. We also got some crudo (ceviche) this was the fish of the day ( can't remember what it was) with a some coconut milk and Serrano peppers. This was so refreshing with some great spice, this was my star starter. Lastly some shrimp toast and the spring roll these I put together because we did send the spring roll back not because it was bad but because we did like the shrimp toast better. Was fried toast with Shrimp. You have to see the picture to know what I am talking about only hint I can give is take it easy on the cilantro next time that was a BUNCH OR SHOULD I SAY BUSH. MAIN: For our main we did get the papaya burger that was yum yum gota get you some. It was very well cooked and the toppings all came together so well. The sandwich I also did enjoy a lot but I would have wanted some more meat. Unless my wife took some out without me looking. The bred was toasted and the meat was nice and juicy the toppings were fresh and the amount was just right. Service: This they get an A++ I am horrible with names so I can't shout out anyone but all I know if they all looked the same. It was awesome. They had great recommendations and they were very friendly. It was cool talking to them. Highly recommended!!

A great vibe for lunch or dinner!! They had tables right in the sand for a more relaxed beach vibe, or tables in their gorgeous tropical space. I felt like I was in Hawaii. The poke bowl was fresh and yummy and I did ask for a side of spicy mayo which they had! The Thai steak salad was delicious I loved it and would get both again! They had a really nice cocktail menu as well with photos of the drinks and nice descriptions. A great place to dine!

We stayed at the Conrad Orlando, which is a five star Hilton resort with a variety of different dining options. The papaya club is an indoor/outdoor poolside restaurant with a tiki bar inspired menu and a variety of food options, including Asian inspired cuisine. First, we truly enjoyed our cocktails, a mai tai and a Negroni. The mai tai was sweet, but not overly so, and refreshing with fresh mint, the Negroni was certainly more spirit forward as I had hoped it would be and served with a block of ice cube which I also appreciated for that extra touch. The presentation of the drinks was spectacular. The the menu also had several spirit free options, which looked equally delicious. We then perused the manual and instantly opted for the bahn mi, one of our favorite sandwiches, and a pork belly Ramen that I asked to be made extra spicy. First of all the Ramen was incredible and the noodles were Al dente and tasted homemade. The pork belly was perfectly juicy and crunchy, and there was an assortment of vegetables and mushrooms. The spice hit the spot. The bahn mi sandwich was crunchy, with freshly topped vegetables and delicious shaved ribeye steak. The fried tasted just like the ones from McDonald's! Overall, the food was totally worth it. The one drawback is that the entrée items range from $25-$30 which is not a surprise as this is a resort and prices are bound to be a bit higher, I still felt like it was worth the money. Of note, the final Bill includes a 18% service fee even for smaller tables of 2, so make sure to account for that!

This is located at the Conrad Orlando and is near the lagoon with a great view of the lagoon. Service was very good, all the servers are very friendly and helpful. The food is not cheap, as it is a Conrad hotel, but it is pretty good. I would give it a 3.5 out of five based on the selection of things we tried there. All in all, the atmosphere makes up for any shortcomings in the food.

We popped into this restaurant to escape the rain from the lagoon and grab a bite for lunch. The drinks were pretty and delicious... made for a pretty picture, not too strong. The Brioche Buns were phenomenal! The bread was light and fluffy with a ginger sauce on top, crispy pork belly, and fresh veggies / herbs which balanced the heaviness of the pork. We sat at the couches on the outer edge so we were able to watch the lagoon also. Staff was very friendly and only a slight wait.

This includes 2 cocktails that are inspired by Florida, gourmet snacks (which was unlimited rosemary parmesan popcorn). Make sure you dine before you come. You pull up to the hotel and we went to the reception desk to start our journey. They give you clues to find the bar itself which I won't reveal. They do not allow you to take photos while inside. The hostess greets you and has a dialogue and lines throughout the experience. We enjoyed the cocktails! Each out is explained by a narrator and has some type of interaction before drinking the cocktail. They provide flat/sparkling water while you enjoy the lo fi music and relaxing ambience. We waited around at our table between cocktails and were left without water a few times. At one point the manager brought us water but flat while we were drinking sparkling. He did come over and apologize which was appreciated. The team consisted of a main bartender, two narrators the hostess and manager. The manager during our 2 hours spent majority of the time with one table likely friends or VIPs which probably could have been better served assisting with waters and popcorn. The table next to us also mentioned they'd prefer a bottle of water at the table. Great suggestion! You are given a small token before you leave and valet is taken care when dining in. The valet also struggled to find our car which was alarming and then when they did locate it, we found the valet hang tag on the floor hence why they could not locate the keys. The valet person laughed it off like it wasn't a big deal. Personally, I feel like it was drawn out for time and overpriced but what do you expect for a bar inside of a high end hotel. I would give them another chance but we will see what the future holds.

I was sexy in every way, from the decor to the glassware, to the cigar corner. Every inch of the place was a vibe. Go see Manny, the bartender. His service was unmatched. He made me a Coconut Passionfruit Margarita with a Tajin rim. When I tell you that's THE BEST margarita I've ever had, I mean it. The waitress took one of our party's order wrong and he personally came over, made it right, and was our best friend the rest of the night. We got a yummy charcuterie board to soak up some of the alcohol. Highly recommend that too. The last thing I'll say is that even though we missed the live music, they were still playing the artist's music over the speakers. It's great to see them continue to support local talent because I immediately looked up the person and downloaded their music all because the establishment didn't stop supporting him after he stopped singing. It shows how deep they want to grow roots in the community. Love it and I'm absolutely going back.

They also have a full bar so anything you want they can make, The bartender and servers were super nice and friendly, and they worked quick to get all drinks out. The bartender said Espresso Martinis were her specialty so we order those. She was not lying, one of the best we've had.

My friend and I shared the ribeye and lamb, which the kitchen was kind enough to precut for us. Both were absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend either one. If you don't arrive early, you may be placed on a virtual waitlist, which can reach three or four hours. Once you're called, you have about 15 minutes to arrive before they move on to the next party. Wait times can be accurate--or wildly inaccurate--so it's best to stay nearby. The theming is fantastic, and the atmosphere is full of energy. Many of the special effects depend on the cast members interacting with guests, so visiting earlier in the day is a good idea while everyone is still at peak energy. The drinks are expensive, but they're tasty, strong by Disney standards, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. You can also purchase some excellent tiki mugs. The food menu is limited, but what we tried was good. Be aware that you'll probably share a table with another party, but that can make the experience even more fun. I always have a great time here, and my friends do too. The last time I visited, I ended up sharing a table with a witch doctor. We started talking about magic, exchanged spells and trinkets, and I gave him my lucky goat's eye. In return, he gave me a bone on a handmade vine necklace that had apparently been blessed by his chief. When I got home, I started hearing war drums. The next thing I knew, it was July 4th, and I woke up inside a Winnie the Pooh costume in the Magic Kingdom.
