While getting my crown done, the girls, including DANA were dancing around the office room bumping into me while performing work on my tooth. The same DANA then made fun of my name and asked me " do you lik your paw?". Making fun of my name. These women were the most childish, unprofessional medical workers I have come across in my 15 years as a physical therapist. An embarrassment and a liability to all patients. The pain I've been going through the past two weeks were of no concern to them, just their office Valentine party. If you are the owner of this establishment, you have some serious issues in this practice. Having an Office manager, Brianna, as hostile as she is is just embarrassing.

The Dentist Place Brooksville, Florida does present an image of friendliness and patient concern,…read morebut beware. I made an appointment at TDP, provided insurance information, and said I thought I was due for a cleaning and x rays. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted, and did all of the usual paperwork. They checked with my dental insurance, and presented me with my estimated fees for that day, x rays and cleaning. Well, I was 2 weeks short of qualifying for coverage of my cleaning, but they conveniently did not tell me this. The cleaning was good, and I have no complaint about the hygienist. She was the best part of the visit. Dr. Mendoza, did a 2 minute exam, and informed me that my wisdom tooth had considerable decay, and would require a crown. The estimate for that was around $1500. When I said, "For a wisdom tooth?" She said the other option was extraction-she would give me a referral. So, on I went to the next disaster place, Coastal Jaw. Estimate here for this was $1100 out of pocket. For a wisdom tooth, general anesthesia would cost $800. I said I had another wisdom tooth extract, and a sinus lift at the same time with local anesthesia, why general anesthesia for a simple extraction? Went for another opinion, and had x rays done, and was told tooth was relatively healthy, some decay, and a small filling should be fine, as a crown or extraction would probably necessitate the cost of replacing the crown next to the wisdom tooth. I could have incurred $3500 of expense at the Dentist Place, instead my filling cost was $110!! Avoid both of these places!

10/10 - Highly recommend!…read more We recently had our first visit to Kids Dental Express on a Saturday, and the staff made the experience incredibly positive. My seven-year-old daughter is autistic and experiences severe anxiety around dental and medical appointments, largely due to previous experiences at other providers. Denny, the office manager, is a fantastic asset to the team. She made the intake process smooth and was exceptionally welcoming when we arrived. Knowing she has years of experience with special needs children was a relief. She was kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything to both me and my daughter, helping her feel comfortable and informed. Dr. Shruti Pandhi was also wonderful--she showed great patience and helped my daughter feel safe in an environment that would usually be intimidating for her. The office itself is clean, inviting, and perfectly kid-friendly without being overstimulating, which is a big plus for children with sensory sensitivities. We're so glad we chose Kids Dental Express!

I was given insufficient anesthetic for abscessed tooth and he continued drilling until I thought I was going to die. Should have sent me to the hospital. Worst dentist I have ever been to! Terrible bed side (chair side) manner. The only person who was friendly was a receptionist who is no longer there. My advice, go elsewhere you do have options!

I think the dentist was on drugs, he acted like he had no clue as to what to do. He decided I needed it removed and would have to prepare the site for an implant, would have to do surgery and add cadaver bone because I had "failing bone". THEN 10 minutes later he came back in with an assistant and told me I could have an imediate implant done but I'd have to pay out of pocket to the tune of about $9000.00. I said no. Then the assistant reminded him that they couldn't do the same day implant because of my previous diagnosis (about 10 minutes previous to this conversation) and he looked stunned. Then mumbled something to the effect of "oh, ok" and said to prepare the site for the cadaver bone surgery. I decided that enough was enough. I told him to not bother. I left. They said they'd still have to charge me for the procedure. I said "good luck" and left. Seriously, I truly believe he was taking drugs or was drunk. Can't prove it, but wow -- just WOW! Horrible experience. Went to a different dentist the following week and they fixed the crown. No surgery needed.

*PUSHES PEOPLE TO COME IN WHEN RUNNING FEVERS - DO NOT COME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK!*…read more Office staff will bill people who don't show up for their appointments when sick, even if they are running fevers (as they did for us). Otherwise the sick patients have to face an irrefutable bill. We were billed $50 because my wife woke up running a fever shortly after I had to cancel because I had gotten sick. Logical no-show cancellations make sense of course. But forcing people to come into the office while running fevers, and back-to-back family illness (which makes sense given we live together that we would catch from each other)? If you or someone in your household gets sick on an appointment day, know that you will be billed! And when you're in the office, know that the other patients might be coming in while sick, as they will be billed if they don't show up. We had chosen Heinecke Family Dentistry because they were not a big chain and seemed genuinely family-run. After spending several thousand dollars on extensive dental work out of pocket, they drew a hard line that we pay another $50 for getting sick, or never come back. The worst part is the duplicity of seemingly like a genuine and compassionate place, but actually have no issue tossing out two patients who have been coming for years for not coming in when sick. Thankfully we found another family-owned dentist office where we don't have to worry that other patients will be coming in while running fevers under threats of fees if they no-show for illness. Do NOT recommend.
