Moonrise on 10/8/2025 @ The Rooftop!

This was a first time experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation which probably wasn't necessary for this particular evening as there were available tables when we arrived. But, I would say a Friday or Saturday you should consider. The view at the top was very cool with views of the water as well as the island! We had cocktails as well as a couple of appetizers (chicken lollipops & the charcuterie board). The chicken was excellent as it has a crunchy exterior with the meat being moist & tender. The charcuterie board was a variety of meats, cheeses, nuts & fruit. Presented nicely and all the items were fresh & flavorful. The cocktails were good but unfortunately they didn't have tonic when we were there so had to pivot to another beverage but all was good! If you've never been check it out you'll have a fun time!

Great mixologist created a unique stellar drink from personal preferences.

Incredible atmosphere and food. Fun and charismatic servers and bartenders. Recommend outdoor seating at the beach-facing balcony, ideally an hour before sunset.

Come during golden hour and sunset time. The views are worth it. The type of menu they offer isn't revolutionary or anything, but we enjoyed everything we ordered. What made the place special were the staff. Alex the bartender, Munzi our hostess, and our waitress was a complete darling as well(I want to say her name was Rachel... I'm so sorry) went above and beyond to make our evening one to remember. The drinks are made with EXTRA love and for a rooftop restaurant, they don't tack on extra charges for the views. Highly recommend for a nice evening in St. Simon's.

Nice view to the ocean. The food was nothing special for the price. The house white wine is good and goes along fairly well with the food.

Beautiful view sitting on the patio. We enjoyed a drink and an appetizer and then went somewhere more lively for dinner. So much potential.

Stopped in here last night at this locally owned St Simons sit-down seafood location for dinner…read more We arrived around 7pm and were told by the hostess that it would be a 30 minute wait. We opted to wait in the lobby on the benches they provide. While waiting we noted that they have indoor seating, outdoor starting in a screened in porch, and bar seating which is first come first serve. After a short wait, the hostess took us to our table, a two-top covered with butcher block paper. We met our server who was polite and promised us some samples of shrimp (that we never got - but other tables did). Our server did a great job answering questions we had about the menu and even provided some helpful suggestions. Please note, the tables a located close together, so if the table beside you has a loud talker, you can feel like part of their convo. We opted for 2 shrimp dinners (16 shrimp with 2 sides and choice of bread or hush puppies - get the hush puppies). I opted to have my shrimp served fried and broiled with cocktail sauce. For my sides, I ordered the garlic potatoes (roasted potatoes with their garlic butter - like a shrimp boil) and fried okra with a side of ranch. My wife opted for the shrimp dinner with cole slaw (their slaw is closer to a vinegar base with a sweet taste) and the garlic potatoes. We waited a little longer than we expected for our food and we noted that tables that were seated after us got their food before we did. Not sure if it is bc of what we ordered or bc our service was slow When we got out our food, it was well prepared and tasted great. Also, their portion sizes are generous and filing. Good option for a meal.

Next up, the waitress was super nice and attentive. We ordered the deep fried devil eggs...so yummy. The mule drink was mixed well. The burger, fries, cup of stew was also prepared very well. Pricing was good. Will stop back here again.

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.
