Food was excellent. Service was really great! The view of the golf course made it special! The Prosecco was delish!

We ate there twice for breakfast as it was pretty good. Despite it being hot outside the inside was ice cold. The cornbeef hash and biscuit and gravy were both really good.

I feel bad to have to share how awful the food was because the staff was so friendly and the live music was great. They both get 5 stars and are the reason I gave them a 2 and not a 1. But we fell for the fake "elite" (bought by Yelp) reviews and wasted money on a poor experience so that's never a fun or fair thing to go through. The food was low quality, processed, cheap grade everything, just not up to par. The desserts we had come from a supplier and were filled with so much artificial stuff that I had insomnia from the level of sugar, and odd reactions to chemicals. My mouth and tongue were swollen all night, and I had tingling in my limbs. This usually happens with MSG but I wouldn't think there was MSG in what I ate. Maybe the burger? But then it might've tasted good and it didn't. Anyway it was very unpleasant especially while on vacation. Atmosphere was very unexpected and odd. There was a white (indoor) picket fence separating the dining room from the hallway to bathrooms or pro shop, the register was a counter with convenience store type things for sale in the glass display, and there was a rounder of fashion jewelry randomly in the middle of the dining room. Once inside the dining room we could see fridge cases of cold drinks, I guess for a quick grab off the golf course? But the convenience store type fridges were, again, in the middle of the dining room. The lighting was all fluorescent and super bright like a mall store or a police station or a classroom, not at all like a restaurant. Very very off-putting and strange, the whole experience. This place is in major need of an overhaul from the dining room to the kitchen--food and decor have not been updated since 1982! I know it is a haven for locals who probably prefer an escape from tourists, but for how well the Authority is fixing up everything on the island, it just seems out of place in terms of quality. I can rattle off a dozen amazing restaurants in Brunswick and nearby whose food deserves the exposure and platform of Jekyll Island, but the chefs/owners don't have the means to be on the island. This place is so undeserving of the chance to reach tourist dollars. I think it's high time the Authority found a way to give the far more talented (mostly black-owned) casual eateries in Brunswick an opportunity to grow their business and delight people with better food here!

    Crawfish biscuit and gravy

My best friend and I went to Jekyll for a girls trip and we kept asking our hotel staff what their favorite restaurants were...Tribuzios was a constant theme so we rode our bikes over for brunch!! We split the avocado toast and the Belgian waffle. The avocado was hard and firm, we were unable to cut it, and our waitress kindly removed the dish. We then chose the crawfish biscuit and gravy...what a silver lining! It was FANTASTIC!!! Neither of us had ever had anything quite like it. The flavor was so unique and we both loved it!! Our server was quick, efficient and very kind! Will absolutely return!

Great breakfast! The French toast was delicious as was the chicken biscuit. The omelette and eggs were great as well. Despite getting take out the food traveled well.

Tasty blackened mahi sandwich and toasted bun. Mac was decently good but a bit small on the portion size.

I tried this golf-course restaurant after a recommendation, it was pretty good. I was starving for lunch so their blackened mahi sandwich sounded good. The bun was toasted nicely and the fish was high quality. My side was their "homemade mac and cheese". I thought the portion was small, the mac was decently good but not outstanding. The service was just okay. The food was reasonably priced and pretty good so I'd recommend trying it.

Corn beef hash, over easy eggs, grits and biscuit
    Melissa K.

I was disappointed from the time I was seated. The host was giving us a feeling like she didn't won't to be bothered. I had corn beef hash, eggs over easy, grits, and a biscuit. The hash really tasted like it was from a can. The biscuit was not fresh. Probably originally frozen. The grits didn't have any salt (I understand many people like them with sugar). My eggs were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly enough. I would have expected a nice interior of a golf club restaurant. It seemed a bit out of date with a lack luster feel. I'll pass on going back.

Bingo was fun even if I did not win.

The food was not good. My scallops were barely cooked and also wet. They put my mixed veggies on the same plate so the light breading was soaked. It was the same for my husband and he could/would not taste them. I took them to go thinking I could dry them out a bit but it did not work. We were leaving out early the next day so they were thrown away,

Service was amazing but food was so-so. Vegetables undercooked and cheese grits were not seasoned or cheesy.

First, I want to recognize our waitress, who was friendly, attentive, and did her best to take care of our table throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered the blackened shrimp, and several of the shrimp appeared undercooked. Additionally, the veins had not been removed, which was disappointing, especially at a restaurant in such a popular tourist destination. I also ordered an entrée salad. When it arrived, it was the exact same size as my friend's side salad, making it difficult to justify the entrée price. Later, when our waitress checked on us, I asked for additional dressing, but she returned and informed me that the kitchen had already closed at 8:30 p.m. and could not provide any more. Two members of our party ordered smash burgers. The burgers arrived without the lettuce, tomato, and onion listed on the menu and without any condiments. After they asked about the missing toppings, the restaurant brought them out, but the "lettuce" looked more like wilted spinach and was not fresh. While the service was very good, the food quality, preparation, and attention to detail left a lot to be desired. Based on this visit, we would return for the service, but not for the food.

Nice market with a good selection, but very pricey. Per many other reviews, my husband and I both had fried shrimp. It was excellent. He got the large platter and could barely eat it all. The regular platter was very plentiful. He got sweet potato fries as his side - excellent choice. I went wrong with my side - Mac n cheese. It was homemade and OK. To me it was like a very creamy and very cheesy Kraft with added pimentos. But to be honest , I make a killer southern mac n cheese and am pretty picky. So it is probably totally fine for most folks. We did have to wait quite a while for the food. We got there just 15 minutes before closing. There were a couple folks that had just ordered and were waiting. Then when I meandered through the whole store and came back twice to find it was still in process, I found out that someone had called in an huge order for 10-12 people just 15 minutes before closing. Amazing that people do things like that. Anyway, the staff was nice, patient, accommodating and doing the best they could. We weren't in a hurry. I just felt bad for them trying to get closed. I got on Yelp and saw some great reviews for a lot of restaurants in the area and the love shack did stand out to me. I walked around and looked at the cute shops and walked into a little market. Well, as it turns out that was the location of love shack barbecue! There was a very kind lady and a son or other family member in the back and she was so helpful in helping me select what to eat. I really just wanted some Brunswick stew and cornbread, but she advised if I got the shrimp platter that Brunswick stew came on the side and then I could have cornbread as well. I absolutely loved the Brunswick stew, it had all sorts of good vegetable vegetables in it, but was also very thick. The cornbread was so sweet and moist. The fried shrimp were solid, I couldn't finish them all just because they were very fried, but I enjoyed them. As I was waiting for my food to be prepared, (it only took about five minutes) I enjoyed walking around the little general store. It was everything from up stay up scale gift items to bakery to a grocery store where you could buy alcohol to a beach shop, it was a really great place. I took my meal to go and sat outside. The lady had advised not waiting too long or the shrimp would get soggy.
