This review should have been posted in January! I just realized I never posted. Located at the very end of Mallory St next to the pier. This is a family run restaurant and the service was excellent. There are tables for two and a large table for a group. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. I had the shrimp salad and it was not what I expected....it was better! Fresh and seasoned well. For dessert I had a pastry and my friend had a brownie. Both were great! I will visit this restaurant again when I am in the area for sure!!

Dessert @ King City Kitchen If you're near the downtown pier, stop by King City. Their food is exquisite. If you have a sweet tooth, try any of their fabulous bakery specialties. Among other delights are a multi layer cheesecake dressed with smooth cream, rich chocolate and gooey caramel, mouthwatering Boston cream donut and a delectable raspberry filled bismarck.

My sister espresso martini, which is in the 1950 glass. It is most perfect mix and martini.

The cocktails here by far the best the ambience is amazing. The service is incredible. The food is cooked personally for you each meal so of course it's going to be a little longer time instead of mass producing it but it's just a great place to be and the people are friendly. The bar atmosphere is amazing too. We've had breakfast there and dinner and everything else and it's amazing

My $21 Crab Benedict. What a letdown.

Extraordinary Mediocre. The appearance and ambience are nice. The restaurant looks like a nice little upscale place to have a meal. Unfortunately, the service, food, and cost were all a big letdown. Service was exceptionally slow, despite the place being relatively dead on a Saturday morning. The food was disappointing. The presentation and quality were lacking and the taste rather bland. For the price, I would have expected much better all the way around. Bottom line, it's a very mediocre restaurant charging excessive prices for what you're getting because it's a "beach" town that preys on tourists' wallets. If you're cool with that, great. However, there are better places to eat on island for the cost.

We stumbled upon this adorable bistro after watching the sunset in St. Simons. We sat outside since we had dogs with us and the staff were so friendly and attentive. They have a full bar, coffee bar, and looks like they serve mostly brunch but offer dinner Thursday-Saturday. We came for dinner and it was fabulous. They served complimentary made in house rolls to start. We ordered the catch of the day & crab cakes. Honestly - THE BEST crab cakes I've ever had. We also splurged and got dessert which was also made fresh in house. It was a croissant bread pudding and let me tell you, my husband who doesn't even like bread pudding ate half of it, it was that tasty!

Fabulous food right by the st Simon's pier! It's upscale and great vibe and everything we got was good. Some of the reviews are complaining of price, but this isn't Waffle House! One BIG plus is the coffee, espresso, coffee drinks, iced and hot were all excellent, something hard to find in the SSI village area! Service was good too. Naomi was super nice

I highly recommend their buffalo crab dip, a concoction that is a buffalo cheese dip served with fresh lump crab. You can really taste the crab in this dish. They don't skimp on it at all. The most clever thing that they did here, though, is to serve it with wonton chips. It's something that's truly unique, as most restaurants would serve a dish like this with regular chips. The wonton chips are a treat unto themselves, having great wonton flavor. However, when you combine it with the dip, it really takes it over the top. Highly recommend. For my entree, I had their Cajun Alfredo pasta. It is linguine served in a "Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce". It is "served with tasso and smoked sausage", and you can choose to have it with either chicken or wild GA shrimp. In either case, once again, they do not skimp . You get a heaping portion of either chicken or shrimp, and the sauce is very tasty. It is just as described, an Alfredo sauce with a little Cajun flavor, though it is not spicy. It is served with no sides, but no sides are necessary as it is a hearty portion all by itself. Very delicious. The most impressive thing that I saw is that the owner is very hands-on. They have these new-fangled mobile electronic lamps, and the owner came by and noticed that ours wasn't quite working. He replaced it immediately himself. He was very friendly and chatted us up. He also went around and was serving and clearing tables himself. It seems that if you eat here, there's a strong possibility that you could end up meeting the owner! Meeting him was a very nice touch. The only thing that I had a hard time with here was choosing a dish because everything looked so good on the menu! Delicious food and great service. I strongly recommend this place!

The space looks great, and it was exciting to see them expanding into dinner service. I went in craving a good burger and ordered the Smashburger, upgrading to the truffle fries... and wow. Sooo good. The burger was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and everything you want from a smash-style burger. The truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade--crispy, indulgent, and hard to stop eating. Overall, a great first dinner experience post-renovation. We're excited to come back and try more of the dinner menu. Highly recommend checking it out!

There were some great options which made choosing difficult, but we tried the biscuits and gravy (go ahead - get 2 biscuits!) and the fried chicken and biscuit. Both were great! The sandwich wasn't huge so it was a perfect amount for breakfast. We sat inside - it's very cute - with a market and to go as well as the tables. Food comes up fast and is really reasonably priced! The chicken was perfectly fried - not greasy - and the hot honey was a nice touch (and thankfully, not too hot). Good bathrooms and lots of tasty looking items in the refrigerated cases (including various types of seafood to cook).

I decided on a grits bowl . I was shocked at ghe size of the bowl when it was delivered a short while later. Huge is an understatement. The grits were well done, the bacon plentiful and lots of cheese. I could only finish about half of it. Really nice dish I will get again. There's not a lot of tables, and it would be hard for a large group but even if you have to wait for a table, it is worth the wait! I will return!

A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost.
