I was in Brunswick for seven months and somehow didn't find out about this place until right before I was going to leave. That's probably for the best from a financial perspective, because, holy cow, this was an experience. Definitely some of the finest dining to be found in the SSI area. Reservations definitely recommended--the place was absolutely packed on a Saturday by 7:30 PM. Buddy, our server, was exceptional. The food? Incredible. Drinks? Stellar. The ambiance? Perfect. This is a great date night spot. 10/10, would go here again in a heartbeat.

This is absolutely one of the best meals I've ever had. Eating and drinking from people who are passionate about what they do is different. But also I believe you can see when people are good by their staff and this team was the absolute best. Everyone works well together and truly loves the place which made me love it more.

Porchetta!!

Hands down the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, full stop. Absolutely perfect and the Hollandaise was a master class in mother sauces. Honestly, it's going to be hard to eat Eggs Benedict's any place else. Couldn't recommend Woodside more highly!

Man oh man I can't say enough great things about Woodside on Saint Simon's Island. Another incredible restaurant that has been awarded the extremely coveted 3 licks award. Our night started off with our waitress Nelly from Scotland "who grew up on a boat" seated us at the most comfy horseshoe sofa booth. The exact one my wife asked for when she made the reservation. Soon after that 4 buns arrived at our table. Not just your average buns, but the most puffy, buttery, and flaky, croissant like buns ever baked. Our table enjoyed the Lagoon oysters and even passed a bowl of the leak and potato soup around for all to try. Wow. And I can't forget the button sized raviolis filled with homemade ricotta and the rare morel mushroom. Our entrees were also some of the best we've ever had in GA, especially the Porchetta from Grassroots farm out of Woodbine, sourced by Brandon the Grassman who is a legendary farmer in the area. All this was enjoyed with a couple bottles of some fine Nebbiolo. We finished the evening of with all 3 desserts, but the standout was definitely the CHOCOLATE CRÈME CARAMEL: FENNEL SHORTBREAD, CHANTILLY CREAM, ESPRESSO GRANITA. We knew the 3 licks award was a lock after the bread, but the desserts and tawny port at the end sealed the deal!! Make a reservation today. And ask for more bread!!!

The staff and the service they provide are outstanding. They are extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I love that the menu is small. The owners come to every table to say hello and introduce themselves. The food is phenomenal. Todd, my husband, who is a Chef got the ribeye, and it was like eating butter cooked perfectly. I got the Nduja Anolini with Alepo chili Pomodoro and Rock shrimp, and brioche crumb.

Tri tip steak special

The best new restaurant on the island. We had plans to go somewhere else and discovered this place has been amazing and under the radar. We didn't have reservations but got there around 8 and got seating at the bar immediately. The food, cocktails and menu are unbelievably. Our bartender explained the menu and drinks perfectly. We both had a cocktail and then red wine with our tritip steak that was cook to perfection. Chef came out to check on us. We highly recommend this restaurant. From the food to service to ambiance it was perfect.

Allison is a fabulous server!! The Angnolotti Primavera with spring vegetables was DELICIOUS... I was not very hungry so this was a 'great smaller portion meal.' Hubby had 10oz TriTip of Beemans Ranch Wagyu Beef which was served with a mashed confit potato. Cocktails are fantastic Greg had 2 old fashions & I had a Tito's tonic w/ lime. ‍ OVERALL DELICIOUS

Amazing! Everything was prepared PERFECTLY! We travel frequently and love good food. This is hands down one of the best meals we have had and we have eaten at several Michelin star restaurants. The ambience, the food, drinks, the personalized service, the chefs have not overlooked a single detail with this restaurant.

The seating was plush and comfortable and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you enjoy your own conversation without hearing everyone else's at the same time- a big plus in my book. Our server, Cameron, took the best care of us, answering questions and making suggestions that ensured everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. They offer a happy hour for cocktails and small plates even on Saturday which we all took advantage of! Between the group we sampled a large portion of the menu and the only thing we didn't LOVE was the steak Kushiyaki (skewered grilled meat). The steak was too tough and smoky for our tastes, but every other dish and drink we would absolutely recommend! Some standouts were the Szechuan noodles, the salmon and Hamachi crudo, the tuna tartare and surprisingly? The burger and fries! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

My wife started with a glass of wine and I had an old-fashioned. The wine was a Zwiegelt and a decent pour which was nice and dry. I enjoyed the old-fashioned which was nicely presented but on regular cubes. We ordered a number of items off the HH menu, including the shaved Brussels sprouts salad, black bean tlacoyos, a short rib torta, and the Dorothy burger and fries. The torta was tasty but small. I'd pass on the tlacoyos but it was fine. We also ordered a fresh salmon belly off the raw bar menu which was my favorite and very tasty and would definitely order again. This was a nice experience and would try again. I'd rate at a 4.4 if Yelp scoring allowed it. Check it out.

One piece of advice.....stay away from the scallops. Worst scallops I've ever had. Ordered them grilled but they looked like they had been boiled and covered with heavy spice.....terrible! Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.

Five stars, no notes…read more Ok, I have notes. This is the best fine-dining experience on the island. Yes, Woodside exists, and is quite good. But Delaney's is better. First, the service. I ate here twice over the course of a week, once at the bar, and once in the dining room. Michael took great care of us at the bar, and Devin was fantastic in the dining room. Also, a shout out to the short little Hispanic fellow who delivers those delightful warm rolls--incredible! The second time I visited, we had to wait a few minutes while our table was prepared. In maybe six minutes total, no less than seven different servers approached us to make sure we were being taken care of. Forget about the menu you see online. The specials are where it's at. Both meals I had, there were at least five appetizer specials, and nearly double that for mains. I won't go through a blow-by-blow of every dish, but suffice it to say every single thing we ate was perfection. And even after salads, our mains, and sharing two desserts and three appetizers, we left feeling satisfied but not bloated, a testament to the quality of the food. GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

First I have to give a shout out to our waiter Devon. He managed to list all the specials slow enough that I was able to keep track and remember them. Usually I give up about half way through. Anyway, his service was also excellent. I ordered the duck which I have had there before and oh my goodness it was even better. The outside skin was grilled perfectly and had a nice bite to it. My husband had the pork steak schnitzel. He shared one little piece with me and it literally melted in your mouth. I told him next time I was getting it - it was that good. So big decision next time I go back as I loved loved loved the duck. We typically don't order dessert but hey it was Valentine's Day. My husband ordered the key lime pie which was monumental as he is super picky and never ever has anything good to say when he does get it. That changed- he declared it was real key lime pie and would order it again. My chocolate Guinness cake was also excellent. So as you can tell, I definitely recommend this place and the fact that they just keep getting better is phenomenal!

My wife ordered the Shrimp and Grits which they are known for as being notable and I ordered the Seafood Pot Pie. The seafood pot pie had the blue crab bisque as the base and loaded with shrimp, white fish, salmon, and small scallops. It was topped with a puffed pastry square. I highly recommend their buffalo crab dip, a concoction that is a buffalo cheese dip served with fresh lump crab. You can really taste the crab in this dish. They don't skimp on it at all. The most clever thing that they did here, though, is to serve it with wonton chips. It's something that's truly unique, as most restaurants would serve a dish like this with regular chips. The wonton chips are a treat unto themselves, having great wonton flavor. However, when you combine it with the dip, it really takes it over the top. Highly recommend. For my entree, I had their Cajun Alfredo pasta. It is linguine served in a "Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce". It is "served with tasso and smoked sausage", and you can choose to have it with either chicken or wild GA shrimp. In either case, once again, they do not skimp . You get a heaping portion of either chicken or shrimp, and the sauce is very tasty. It is just as described, an Alfredo sauce with a little Cajun flavor, though it is not spicy. It is served with no sides, but no sides are necessary as it is a hearty portion all by itself. Very delicious. The most impressive thing that I saw is that the owner is very hands-on. They have these new-fangled mobile electronic lamps, and the owner came by and noticed that ours wasn't quite working. He replaced it immediately himself. He was very friendly and chatted us up. He also went around and was serving and clearing tables himself. It seems that if you eat here, there's a strong possibility that you could end up meeting the owner! Meeting him was a very nice touch. The only thing that I had a hard time with here was choosing a dish because everything looked so good on the menu! Delicious food and great service.
