3.5 stars, perfect refresher for the recent heat wave of multiple days in the 90s and up. Super yummy customizable smoothie bowls. Small is the perfect size if you just want a little something sweet. Next time won't add additional honey. Base and toppings were plenty sweet. Actually wish they had some unsweetened bases. The fresh fruit toppings were ripe. Sliced almonds were toasted and not stale. Unfortunately, 2nd visit not as successful. The 3 bases I chose had wildly different consistencies. 1 of the bases was icy and had fused into ice balls like a drink after all the liquid is consumed. The 2nd base was fully melted and runny. The 3rd base was like half set Jello. Will be back throughout the summer to find the perfect combo. Next time sticking to the small.
Really enjoyed my visit to Palmetto Superfoods. I ordered a make your own açaí bowl and loaded it up with lots of toppings, which made it both filling and delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and it was nice being able to customize exactly what I wanted. I also ordered a smoothie, and I appreciated that they gave me the extra that didn't fit in the cup in a separate cup instead of letting it go to waste. It's a small touch, but it shows good customer service. Overall, a great spot for a healthy meal or snack. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and plenty of customization. I'd definitely come back.
All their smoothies are still as good as ever! Love that they have introduced the new matcha series, which is served alongside with their signature bases! Our family have tried it with Acai base, Pitaya Base and Blackberry Ube Base and they are all so refreshing! This new menu addition gives us a nice variation from the usual smoothie combinations, excited to try them all!
I love Palmetto's! I've been to a couple of stores around the Bay Area. I frequent this one more though. I'm posting this Yelp review because you didn't have any napkins. The team member at the counter said they ran out. So... how can you serve acai bowls and not have napkins? It's a messy kind of food to eat. And because you didn't have napkins for your customers, the 3 tables outside were sticky and covered with granola, melted drops of acai, and other crumbs. At least clean up the tables for your customers especially if you don't have napkins. :( I still love Palmetto's though!
Ummm can I 10 star this?? I am not a fruit person nor am I a fruit bowl açaí jazz type of a person but I'm hooked! They are right next to my nail salon and I pulled in and was starving so did a mobile order. It was ready within minutes. Coconut beach and matcha base topped with a layer of coatella... omg the coatella ... ADDICTING. Think Nutella but healthier and better. Topped with all the yummy bite size fruit coconut shreds goji berries and all the seeds. I dream and crave this mixture daily! You guys are doing it ALL amazing.
I LOVE palmetto superfoods! They have the best bowls ever! Everything is always sooo fresh and consistent; 10/10 recommend everyone giving them a try :) the service was great; I have always ordered through DoorDash so I'm not sure how the ambiance is; no doubt it's a good one :)
On repeat! I can have palmetto everyday despite the $12.95 which is pretty expensive for a smoothie but I can't stop drinking it. I've had every flavor & the let me love you smoothie is still my fave.
I come here every time I crave a healthy sweet treat or anytime my gut is in a funk. The fruits are always perfectly ripe, and this is coming from someone who will inspect every blueberry before eating it. The workers are always nice and they always give decent portions. I never leave feeling like I was lacking any toppings. Seating fits 2 groups indoors, but sitting outside with your bowl/smoothie is really nice on a warm day.

P.S. specialty is Brazilian bowls and smoothies with many varietals using fresh fruits and ingredients. One can also "create your own". Ordered on the kiosk which was easy to do.pd. Got smoothie in 5ish minutes. Sips: Avocado Matcha Love Smoothie (10.95) -loved there was any residual ice so the taste is consistent. The taste profile was slightly sweet with none of the ingredients (matcha powder, coconut milk, banana, matcha base, fresh avocado) predominant in taste. Thought matcha would be more pronounced. New to these smoothies. 4.5 stars Worthy! Fresh ingredients. Made to order.
Palmetto is so yummy! Especially on a hot day! I decided to build my own bowl since I don't like some of the ingredients in the popular bowls on the menu. I added Açaí, Passionate Mango, and the Butterfly Pea Chia Seeds. After trying this once, I noticed that I don't like having too many toppings so I'll probably only get one granola/honey oats next time and then get fruits as toppings!
Pretty solid spot for smoothies, açaí bowls, and protein shakes. People with me got açaí bowls that were loaded with tons of fun things like goji berries and shredded coconut and I got their chocolate protein shake. Prices are a little on the steeper side. All in all, it was solid but I feel the protein side of drinks in this place is lacking. There is definitely a need in the area for a solid place to grab a protein shake. They could totally really lean into the protein shake side and obtain a new customer base. I'd absolutely recommend allowing specific add ons to customize the shakes, like there wasn't an option on the kiosk to add peanut butter to my shake. They have different boosts like B-12, immunity, etc. but the protein content is lacking and it didn't seem like you could customize to add specific ingredients. I would definitely see where they could add more protein specific additions or make a drink that has MORE protein. Also calorie and macro information being provided would be nice too.

This is a cozy spot that has a tropical feel to it. I ordered at the kiosk, I did the build your own. Love that! The service was fast. I will say their açaí seemed a bit sweet but it was definitely good. I will for sure go back and be more adventurous with my order.

I stopped by here from my way back home. I ordered online using the Palmetto app. Which was easy to use. The store was very clean and close to the outlets. Plenty of parking. There is a small amount of seating options right outside the store. The customer service was amazing. All the employees working were so polite and very friendly. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I ordered online. Which. I responded and got my bowl right away. The bowl was perfect. I ordered a 24oz build your own bowl of açaí and blueberry ube, with all the toppings and honey. It was perfect. I would gladly come back to this location anytime I am in the area. read more

Some friends and I were treated to a December early morning Sunday run/walk organized by Orange Theory and ending at Palmetto Superfoods near the San Francisco Outlets. The plant-based vegan-friendly acai bowls and smoothies were the perfect treat after a Sunday activity. The space was modern but intimate with just a few tables, chairs and benches inside. Additional seating was available outside but it was too cold for December! The staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. The menu choices were overwhelmingly extensive with an abundance of fresh healthy options to create your own treat or to choose one of Palmetto's popularly crafted favorites, layering one healthy ingredient at a time. I chose the Harvest Blend: acai, coconut, steel cut oats with caotella butter, roasted coffee granola (I could taste and feel the texture of the ground coffee beans!), strawberries, mango, banana, pumpkin seeds, mulberries and topped off with matcha powder. I am pretty sure this was my first foray into acai bowls and Palmetto Superfoods did not disappoint! read more

Okay now, I'm officially addicted to these amazing bowls! I can't stay away from Palmetto Superfoods Livermore! I've been back a few times now and I'm totally hooked! The space is small but nice and tropical with cute palm décor, and the staff are always so kind and patient, even when I had a million first-timer questions. I get the Warrior Blend bowl (swapped banana for strawberries), and it's so delicious! There's too many wonderful choices they have I also like getting the customized make your own bowl so you can get them all in one! Bonus: they freeze perfectly, so I can buy some togo and enjoy one later when the craving hits again! They will also separated the toppings togo! Parking was easy and I'll definitely continue to go back! Yum! Love love love! read more

Delicious açaí place! They're very transparent about their j gradients which is great, and there's lots of unique flavors and bases to try. You can order some of their pre-made bowls, or build your own. The interior has a few spots to sit at, but it feels very grab and go. The employees there are always super nice and friendly, and they'll answer any questions you have. I got a Bay Blend and it was good, I definitely want to try a smoothie some other time. read more
Picked up an acai bowl and smoothie before my friends wedding in Livermore. Shop was clean and it was a easy to order at the kiosk. Acai was tasty but I prefer they layer their bases instead of putting the acai in one section, then the chia seeds in another section. But that's just my personal preference. Got a small 8oz but next time would consider a medium since I felt 8oz was a bit too little for myself. Friendly service and plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

One of the things I love is the variety you can build in your bowl or if you don't feel like building you can pick a prebuilt option, and they have tons! First time here. I ordered a small size Warrior Blend because I want to have a light lunch that with chia pudding in it. It was quite filling for my appetite. I love the combination except the date honey was a little too sweet for me. I also ordered a Let me love you smoothie since I want Pitaya dragonfruit. I enjoyed the smoothie a bit more than the Warrior blend. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The music selection was great. I enjoyed having my bowl and smoothie inside the store. If the store can add few more tables and chairs, that will be better. I think I will come back to try other bowls and smoothies. read more
Palmetto is located in a strip mall directly across from the Livermore outlets. It's actually easy to miss. It was early afternoon on a hot day and we wanted a cool healthy snack. We ordered a small Palm blend and small Warrior blend to share. The base to topping ratio for the small size was lacking. I would've like more "base". The fruit toppings were fresh and some of the bases were unique like spirulina or the blue butterfly chia pudding (which I liked) There's a bench and table inside and 3 tables outside. I love açaí bowls so decided to stop by for one since we were in the area. Palmetto, I think has one of the best bowls since there are so many options to choose from, and you can even build your own bowl. Loved the clean and modern interior right when I walked in. There was a kiosk available at the door, but since I wasn't sure what I wanted, I decided to order at the register so that I was able to ask the staff. I ended up ordering their most popular item - Bay Blend. Every bite was extremely refreshing, especially with all the toppings. I like that their bowls are 100% real açaí with no sugars or additives. It's definitely one of the healthier options, especially when I am craving something sweet. I'll most likely try another base next time since I wasn't a fan of the pitaya. read more
Their grand opening was yesterday and I was so excited to go. I came today because I figured less crowded. It was so easy to park and it is close to the outlets so you can shop afterwards! This is the newest Palmetto Superfoods location. I typically visit the Burlingame location more but wanted to come to support. I am a big fan of their build your own acai bowls especially their Blue Butterfly Pea Chia Seed Pudding! There was lots of seating and very clean. The service was amazing and it was crowded, but I got my order quickly! I ordered a custom acai bowl with acai, blue butterfly pea chia seed pudding, honey almond + oats, strawberries and mango, almond butter, chia seeds, coconut flakes, condensed coconut milk, and matcha powder! I also got the super popular Let Me Love You Smoothie! So yummy + my bf loved it! read more

Came for their grand opening today! It was nice and celebratory! For the first 100 people, they received a tote bag with some goodies inside, and were able to enter a raffle to win some prizes! I ordered a small The Harvest Blend and my sister ordered a medium The Bay Blend. She also added macadamia nuts and toasted coconut chips to hers! (It's nice that you could get unlimited "finishes"!) We both liked what we ordered! I liked that it tasted fresh, refreshing, and yet still healthy! I don't normally go to açaí bowl places, but I would definitely come back and try other flavors and to also try their smoothies! Congrats to Palmetto Superfoods on their new location! read more
This place is across the street from street from the SF Premium Outlets technically the city of Livermore. It's pretty new. Lots of parking but on the weekend rush I'd imagine it would be busy. I inside is super tiny and there is only one self ordering kiosk. It's pretty straight forward and fast . I have T mobile and my phone was getting one active bar . They have WiFi ,public & free but the password isn't posted anywhere. Literally one small bench and 2 small tables with 2 chairs . More tables outside but it was too warm to sit outside . As for the minus one star it wasn't about the quality or lack of service it was the sky high prices for the smoothies. No sort of discount but they have a dollar per reward points program with starts with giving your cell phone number. I ordered 2 smoothies the warrior with mango and the Cold brew with banana both were good but don't really almost $23 worth. My final decision on worthiness will come after I try a açaí bowl I think. As a silly comparison they are 100 times better than cheap Costco smoothie though and better ingredients. read more

Updating my review! I got to try Palmetto Superfoods a while ago and I was a lot happier with my experience. The base for the bowl was a lot more thick this time around. Everything tasted amazing and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I tried manuka honey for the first time and it had a creamy sweetness to it. Palmetto remains my favorite place for acai bowls! Palmetto is now one of my favorite places to get Acai bowls! Love that there is small size which is a perfect portion for me. I ordered the Just Acai bowl with blueberries, mangos, kiwi, banana, honey almond granola, almond butter, mac nuts, chia seeds, cinnamon, and date honey. I loved that I could add as many toppings I wanted without an additional charge. The goji berries were a bit too hard for me so I may skip it next time and I'd probably get raw honey instead date honey but that's just a personal preference. It wasn't busy when we came and it took awhile for our order to be ready. If you're in a hurry order ahead online. Can't wait to come back and try their smoothies! read more
Glad they opened a closer location than Walnut Creek (also looking forward to the location in San Ramon). Ordered in advance through their website on a Wednesday morning around 11am, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. Super easy! Inside, it's rather small and there's only a long bench with two small circular tables. I would recommend taking your açaí bowl or drink to go. Blue bondives is my favorite smoothie here. You can add hemp protein to it as well. Smooth and creamy from the banana and coconut milk, but there is sweetness from the dates (there's also tiny bits of dates in the drink that you can chew on). There is also a nuttiness from the granola. My wife likes the Warrior+, which is more of a tropical tasting smoothie due to the mango and pineapple. Definitely more on the refreshing side and feels slightly less heavy than the blue bondives. read more

Erewhon DUPE!! I got a little smoothie for myself - the Blue Bondives Smoothie that has coconut and blue spirulina and I got my smoothie with an extra scoop of Hemp Protein Powder for 50¢ extra. It was really delicious! I'm not a usual smoothie drinker but I really want to come back to try the other flavors! The girls working behind the counter were also so nice and friendly. They finished making my drink really fast. I did notice some chunks of dates that I'm not sure if they were supposed to be fully blended into the drink or not, but I honestly didn't mind it! Love palmetto! Tried the one in Walnut Creek and decided to try something else besides their smoothies. Loved that they had a mini açaí option. It was filling but not overwhelming. They don't skimp on anything which is nice. Would definitely be back when I'm in the area and looking for a healthy snack. read more
