California Chicken Pizza with Ranch, yuuuummmm

Another great pizza, tried something completely different this time. We ordered a Large California Chicken Pizza and a large our choice Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives & tomatoes both were delicious. Keep up the good work crew.

Pepe pizza from Palo Mesa Pizza in Arroyo Grande

I'm from NYC and been to Italy. This myaybe the best pizza I've ever had! I ordered the Pepe. It was perfectly seasoned, so I threw out the two packages of grated Parmesan I thought it would need. It tasted fresh, healthy (even with pepperoni!) and yummy. The person behind the counter was congenial. All around a great place that I stumbled upon during my first trip to Arroyo Grande. Definitely pay them a visit!

I've heard friends talk about how often they go here for their pizza. With the prices being on the higher side, I was expecting a higher level of pizza. This is just my personal feeling on pizza, but I prefer a pizza that has toppings that extend almost to the edge of the crust. The pizzas we received were sparse on the toppings and heavy on the crust. The crust tastes good, but I'm expecting at least most bites to include toppings. This was disappointing as half the bites I took were purely just crust. Palo Mesa has 3 locations so they are obviously enjoyed by many locals. For me, with the pricing, I expect more ingredients on top to enjoy each bite.

Just the greatest pizza ever. Ordered through DoorDash for delivery to try for the first time. The quality of the ingredients was top notch, flavors great, crust was perfect.

The yummy veggie one (Verdurra) and pepperoni for the kiddo. This is the leftovers--still super yummy when heated up the next day!

This is my favorite Palo Mesa location. I love wood-fired pizza and whenever I'm visiting my mom in AG we get a couple pizzas from here to heat up later at home. The Palo Mesa in the Village is also amazing, but for different reasons! Theirs is more authentically Napoli-style I believe, but this one in the strip mall by Ross has the most amazing veggie pizza with sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, feta...just a great quintessential Cali-style wood-fired pizza. We had to search around on Yelp because there are so many locations, but this is The One! Best pizza in AG.

Palo Mesa pizza is our family's favorite pizza on the Central Coast. My family has been ordering from the Rancho Parkway spot for several years. We keep it basic...the Hot Hawaiian, pepperoni pizza, bread sticks, cinnamon sticks (with cream cheese frosting ) and Italian salad is our "go-to's". Their crust is bomb . The right amount of soft yet crispy. Toppings are always fresh and they are pretty generous. Their menu also has a variety of specialty pizzas but they are on the pricier side if feeding a family with hungry kids. One of our favorite things to do is order the DIY, make your own pizza kits. These are so fun to do with the kids. Pick out the type of pizza you want abs they will send everything you need to make it at home. This is a family fun activity and the pizzas come out GREAT. We typically bake in the oven in an iron skillet or in our Traeger. They are priced reasonably too. My only issue is the high turnover in staff at this location . Always new faces. There has also been a handful of times our orders were not taken correctly. However nothing deal breaking. A must try if visiting the Central Coast.

Wrong pizza #2: no idea what this is supposed to be, but it's not a Michaela. Also it's a large and not an extra large.
    Katie M.

The food here is very good, but unfortunately it was not the food we ordered. We called on the phone to pick up an XL Michaela pizza. When we got home, we realized it was a tomato and basil pizza. We called them and asked them to remake it, which they agreed to do. We picked it up and they handed it to us and said "Michaela", but when we got home it was definitely NOT a Michaela (had bell peppers, green olives; missing pineapple, jalapeños, and cilantro). Also it was a size smaller than what we ordered. At this point, we just started eating because it was late and we were hungry. The pizzas were great, but we were really excited about trying the Michaela, and it just wasn't happening.

Pre-made pepperoni? Threw some veggies on top and warmed thru? When I pay $20 for a small pizza, I expect it to be COOKED.

Only stars for flavor. DOES THIS LOOK APPETIZING? We're you hoping for a hot pizza with yummy toppings? Is this it? Really disappointed.

    "Small pizza"
    Julien B.

Ordered delivery tonight and this is what we got for $21 for a small pizza. Ridiculous. It's almost half the size of the box it came in, and just looks sloppy as well. We won't be ordering here again. Basically personal size pizza that's not even round at all. Like what???

So I tried the Wood Fired the other day and it was beyond delicious. I thought I would try the other version. The pizza was good but I like the wood fired better. My five stars is for the young lady who served me. She was attentive and she guided me through the menu making suggestions. I settled on pepperoni and sausage. The sausage is bomb.com. When I picked up the pizza I was offered every kind of condiment which is nice because I like extra sauce but forgot to order it. Keep up the great job.

Pizza was EXTREMELY salty, could not enjoy it at all. Had to scrap off all the toppings to just enjoy the crust.

$30 for the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. They claim wood fire but still taste like crap. Never going back neither should you!

I ordered the half salad (Thai salad) and tomato soup. The soup was a little salty but overall really tasty. We also ordered the half salad (Thai salad) and slider. The beef was super tender and I loved the fried onion pieces in it. The fried mozarella was ordered to share. Super crispy and cheesy; perfect touch with their tomato crème sauce. We got their tiramisu and caramel cheesecake for dessert. The tiramisu was super light and good. The cheesecake had a great texture; definitely rich and sweet but it was a nice treat to share with everyone.

The salads are big enough to split and share with someone else. They use Romain with the wedge salad, but they have the red onions, bacon, and cherry tomatoes along with crumble blue cheese. My favorite pizza is the meat lovers and I add cooked prosciutto. The small is plenty with one person and the large is good for two or more. They have a great patio adjacent to the building and live music on the weekends. You can order drinks inside or at the horse trailer barn on the patio. They have a decent selection of beer and wine. Save room for dessert. They have a nice selection of gelato, tiramisu, and Cannoli. Looking forward to the next visit. Cheers!

Rarely do I walk away from a dining experience where the quality of service and quality of food fight to outshine one another, but this was one of those spots. Our server, a German gentleman, was the consummate professional- always friendly, never overstepping, and added such a warm dimension to our meal. The fried green tomatoes and the white beet appetizers were standouts. I especially loved the vinegary dressing on the greens of the beet dish. For mains, we got the leek olive potato pizza, the ribeye, and the wood fire poached halibut. The avocado chimichurri that accompanied the ribeye was the perfect balance, and the sautéed greens under the fish were savory with the right amount of bite. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. All this for $200 was a better price tag than I was expecting, but most importantly, it got the stamp of approval from my notoriously picky grandmother and uncle. This spot is worth the drive.
