Fun atmosphere here! Definitely ok for loud groups. They used to give out peanuts but you can buy them for a dollar, and you can throw the shells on the ground. The pizza is not bad! They had a family special, two salads, XL pizza and garlic bread for $43. The kids had fun playing games. read more

The pizza here is always great. We beat the crowd but it's soon followed and the placed filled quickly. Our pizza order came out quickly as well as the servers were always asking if needed anything? Can I take that for you? Can I get you another refill? So you don't need to walk up to the counter. There were two girls who were very on top of things. The main debate at the table was if the complete floor was dirt or not. It looks like dirt. After all it is in a basement. I kept digging with my foot to see there was flooring which I never found. Mark stated the health dept wouldn't let them have dirt floors. Dave said "there's flooring he felt when we came in". Michele the said "it's ground up peanut shells". We finally gave up and changed the subject. I still think it's a dirt floor which adds a lot to pizza joint and its theme. It's cutely decorated with an alaskan themed which oddly fits. This place is awesome! Feels so nostalgic like walking into a time capsule. So fun for the kiddos with arcade games and board games. It reminds me of somewhere you would go as a kid. So glad a place like this still exists! The pizza was so good! We got ham and pineapple and sausage and olive. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was a huge line and took about 40 mins to get out pizza but it was fun to play the games while we waited. Made for a great family experience with quality time. Unfortunately the pizzas were not completely cooked ( even though the bottoms were browned, the salad was not worth the $12.99 they charged... hardly any lettuce and red onion that was chopped beyond big. The classic arcade games, laid-back ambiance, attentive staff, peanut shells on the floor, and of course, their pizzas, make dining here a unique experience. Also ordered a half pitcher of beer to drink while we waited for the pizza to cook and the kids were playing the arcades. This is a great place to grab pizza with friends on a Saturday night! We had a group of 11 & they were able to accommodate us very easily I split the RoadKill pizza with a friend. The toppings included: Reindeer Sausage, Pepperoni, Salami, Italian Sausage, Canadian Style Bacon. While the pizza took a while to come out, when it did, it was worth the wait. The pizza had a good balance with the toppings & the reindeer sausage was very flavorful. My only critique is that I felt there was too much marinara sauce but that's a personal preference. This is a 3.5 review. We are staying at a local hotel in Pismo and were craving some good pizza. We ordered from Klondike's website to be delivered to our hotel in Pismo Beach. Our pizza and salad were delivered timely, warm and delicious (Denali pizza and almost Sicilian salad). My issue is that knowing that the we're delivering to a hotel, they did not provide any plates, plastic ware or hot peppers and cheese. We are currently sitting in Klondike AG with a party of 15. Our table accommodated the 15 of us, but did not have the space for our food (5 medium-extra large pizzas, 3 salads, 3 cheese breads, and 4 pitchers). Initially we were told that we could not use a second small table because it was against policy (as we are one of three parties total here tonight). It was frustrating because we could not possibly fit our pizza platters on our tables. But Catherine came to our rescue! She provided an extra small table for us to place three of our large pizzas on, and came by regularly to check on us. She even got us refills for our drinks which was not expected. She was fantastic! Located in small town area that just makes you want to visit again and again. The pizza is consistently amazing. I always go for a roadkill pizza. This pizza is cheesy and meaty. Yes, it's deer meat but it's very very good. They have bench style seating inside for large groups if needed. You can also order a bag of peanuts that go well with a cold beer. And yes it still ok to throw your shells onto the floor. The service is friendly and the prices are fair. This place is a must try if you haven't yet. I always look forward to returning. read more

Great service, pizza was okay. Visited on Veterans Day @ lunchtime. Ordered salads and a pepperoni pizza. Salads were above good. Pizza wasn't bad but I felt like it needed some more spice / taste. The woman (late 20s? & short in height) who took the order was pleasant, helped us figure out the best pizza option, filled our drinks immediately, and checked on us a few times. She brought items over promptly and offered us a takeout box. She was hustling along helping all the customers mainly by herself and working the order counter. When you walk into the restaurant you are met with a roar of sound on a busy night. This is a very busy fun, casual family friendly pizza restaurant. So be prepared to stand in line to order and have a little bit of a wait. Believe me, it will be worth it. They will give you a stand with a number and then you are on a hunt for an available table. You pick up your own drinks but your pizza is delivered to your table. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have an extensive pizza menu with so many options! They also offer beer and wine. You pick up your own drinks at the beverage counter. They have a dirt floor strewn with peanut shells. We just ordered a simple thin crust pepperoni Pizza. The sauce was delicious with a yummy crust and the toppings were generous. There is an arcade area to keep the kids happy. They have gender neutral bathrooms. I didn't see an elevator, so I don't believe there is wheelchair access for an in house visit, so have someone pick up your pizza or a delivery service. They have a good size outdoor dining area with heaters, but again there is only a stairway access. We had a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious pizza. read more

Today we ordered an xl pizza, a few salads, and cheesy-bread for pick up, and drove less than five minutes to get to our house. When we opened the food, the pizza and the bread were both lukewarm temperature. It's an expensive pizza place (especially with a tip on top of it) in comparison to other pizza restaurants to receive food that isn't hot. I've been going to Klondike's since I was a kid. I have so many happy memories here. We decided to go one afternoon on a Saturday. There was plenty of parking. We got a cheese pizza. It definitely hit the spot. I wouldn't consider Klondike's great quality pizza but I knew that going into it. They use a blend of cheese, one being cheddar cheese which I don't consider authentic pizza. They have a sweet sauce red which I like enjoy. The service was great. Everyone is always kind. The games aren't over priced like some places. One thing I do miss is the peanuts!! They use to be free but I don't know if they even have them anymore. The last time I went, you had to pay for them. This was one of the unique qualities this place had. Everyone knew Klondike's for being the pizza place with the peanut shells on the floor. There is still peanut dust on the floor. I got the one burnt pizza and was never given the option to take a correctly made pizza and also the manager she referenced wasn't who served me it was a tall male. Very disappointed to see that they want you to order online and to do so you have to pay a $2 service fee just to "order" food and the tip is default to 20% automatically but you can change it to anything like 0. Ever since the pandemic paying good $ money just to order online with a computer and trying to get a tip out of you just to pick up food is a bit much.
