Wow wow wow! Truly one of the most amazing meals I've ever had! From the food to the service to the overall vibe, everything was perfect! We started with the guava and smoke show cocktails, which were both delicious! My boyfriend and I were celebrating his 30th birthday and decided to do the pre-fixe menu. We shared everything and got the fried oysters, the baby kale, the lumache, the lasagna Bianca, the lamb, and the pork Milanese. Truly there were no misses, but the lamb and lumache were out of this world! We also opted into wine pairings for the second and third courses since we wanted to start with a cocktail, and that was a fun way to customize the experience. Our server, Dana, was so awesome and attentive as well! I already can't wait to be back!

I had such an amazing dinner at pammys! It's a very cute spot and I loved that they had matchboxes at the host stand as soon as you enter. My drink was delicious and thoughtfully presented- I got the guava drink. For food I got the kale salad (delicious) and the lumache (solid). My friend got the lasagna and I think that was the standout dish! The apple dessert was awesome as well. Overall incredible dining experience

Overall, Pammy's remains one of the best upscale dining experiences in the greater Boston area!! Overall, 4.5/5 Packed on a Monday evening, we were lucky enough to snag a 5p resy for 4 in the lounge area, booking 5d in advance. Some streetside meter parking for 2h. Vibe 5/5: nice balance of casual and chic. Background music not overpowering for meaningful convo, but sitting in the dining area in the large middle table could make intimate convos more challenging. Food 5/5: the team at Pammy's has a clear vision of what they want to create. The creative touches make each dish memorable, and even if flavor/texture combinations are foreign to the diner, one has to respect the thoughtfulness and consistent execution. - standouts were the Lumache and Lasagna Bianca - a year ago, they had an asparagus dish that was one of my top bites in Boston Price 4/5: $88pp for 3 decently-portioned courses; fixed price is required for the dining area, and it's a la carte only in the lounge/bar area, which includes the same menu items; $13 desserts; 6% kitchen admin fee

Great service and food with a large wine/cocktail selection. I really enjoyed the way the 3 course menu was setup and wish it was more common. We were seated at the communal table but had a corner and it didn't seem any different than sitting at a bar. Only thing I will say is the smaller dishes were exceptionally played but the pasta and mains didn't have the same wow factor.

Very expensive for the amount of food you get. One of my dishes was spaghetti 2.3 which was underwhelming and not seasoned. Branzino was tasty, it came with a tiny piece of fennel but overall nothing special. The only impressive dish was salmon crudo. Dessert is not included, its portion is very small, and the bill also comes with a 6% kitchen fee. I wound not go back.

Love the experience of pammy's - a perfect spot to wow a date, celebrate an anniversary, or just treat yourself with plans. The ambiance of pammy's is 10/10 - the decor is sophisticated and moody while still feeling warm and homey. We were seated at the community table which was a fun environment to be with other diners but still intimate enough to talk with our own party. We did the $88 prefix menu and started our "adventure" with the shaved brussel sprouts and fried oysters. The brussel sprouts were refreshing and light, paired well with the bluefin tuna but overall a small dish. The fried oysters were DELICIOUS, they were both light and savory. Our second round consisted of lobster biscotti - sooooo creamy with a strong lobster flavor. My overall favorite dish was the lumache - a gochujang bolognese. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was both spicy and creamy, and paired so well with the ground meat. Our final round was the halibut and peking duck - which were both just okay in my opinion. The halibut was better, buttery soft and was delicious with the roe and soft sides. The peking duck was just a bit too tough and floral for my taste.

Service was impeccable. Food was innovative, modern and had complex flavors. The lobster soup was well balanced and full of lobster. The lasagna was well executed abd perfectly light. The cocktails were very well balanced. Easily the best food I have had on my trip.

We walked into Pammy's on a Thursday night as a party of three after doing a tour of the Harvard campus, and were seated right away. I guess we just got lucky because the restaurant was certainly packed. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We ordered three pasta dishes, a venison entrée, and two desserts -- and every single item exceeded our expectations. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Our server was warm, attentive, and made the evening even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a spot where both the food and service are equally top-notch, but Pammy's delivered on both fronts. Highly recommend -- 5 stars all the way!

Excellent, Fantastic, Super! Top notch service Top notch cocktails Exceptional food. Cutting edge Appearance and Plating Great menu options from sea to land. Recommend the crab app and the oyster app! Soooooo good! Everything was 5+++++ from start to finish, dont skip dessert and finish with some house made lemoncello! Highly recommended

Every dish was exquisite. However, in my opinion if you don't try the Lobster Bisque, you have missed out! The service was top notch: smiles, helpful attitude, and friendly without being pushy. The ambiance was a step above casual without being stuffy or formal. People were relaxed enjoying themselves and their friends or family without being loud like a cheap steakhouse. This place is not inexpensive, but it is also NOT disappointing in any way. We went with family, and Pammy's is their favorite place to eat. I can see why.

Pammys came highly recommended and it lived up to the hype. It's not a cheap date but the food was really quite good, the cocktails were amazing, and it's just a really fun atmosphere. Not pretentious at all but with very unique and delicious food. Everyone was lovely and made us feel right at home n

The atmosphere is charming and the service was great, but the food was uninspiring and ridiculously over priced. The prix fixe at $88 gets you three dishes, so that's almost $30 a plate. The first to come out was the hamachi crudo, which is usually one of my favorite dishes at other restaurants. Pammy's version was an absurdly small portion, very low on flavor and could have been picked up at the grocery store. The lumache was dried pasta with a sauce drown in gochujang. The lobster biscotto was more what I was expecting, full of flavor and a nice presentation. The 6% service fee slapped on the bill (plus tip) was hard to swallow. Come for cocktails, but skip the food.

    They have heat lamps outdoor?

We were there at the end of September and there were no heat lamps outside.

    Do they have vegetarian options?

They do! There's a phenom salad on the price fix menu as well as a great gnocchi dish. Both vegetarian (don't think they're vegan though).

Looking for something good to eat and we happened upon this place within walking distance of our hotel. The menu was mysterious online and didn't really represent what we stumbled into that night. We show up and speak to who I believe to be the hostess. We had some nice small talk while we were heading to the table. Half way there she asked where we were from and we told her "the most beautiful land in the world, Memphis, Memphis, Memphis, Memphis". IFKYK. She was like, "no way". Yes way, I say. She then tells us she lived in Memphis for a long time and this place is modeled after a place she waited tables at while she lived there. Turns out she was the owner. I asked what it was and lo and behold she says one of my favorite places in our delightful town. Flight. I then put two and two together and realize why the menu was so hard for me to understand online. It's just like Flight. You can get a made "flight" of foods or drinks or you can build your own flight of food from all of the choices. Now I'm stoked. I love Flight! I had a nice IPA and C had a nice fancy drink too. We both had soups to start. They were pretty good. We both had a flight each after our apps. Food was good, not great. Portions were insane. We probably left half of it there. It felt like such a waste. Had I known that it was going to be so much, I would have ordered a single dish. Each one seemed like a good sized meal in my opinion. My favorite things were the lamb chops and the grit cake that came with one of my dishes. I poked around at the others some but all of these. C's pot pie was interesting with a chicken tender shoved in it. I didn't care of her other two dishes. The Beef Wellington was fair at best. We skipped dessert as we were so damned full already. Nice place, great ownership, I wish the food was better. Very nice steak knife I will add. That means a lot and pushed the star up one. That may sound strange but I don't care. 26 - 65

Wow talk about a hidden gem!…read more I hadn't heard much about this place so I wasn't sure what to expect-- located in Inman square with nearby limited street parking (there's a metered lot on Springfield street nearby!), Oak Bistro is a medium sized restaurant with a simple but chic decor and true focus on hospitality. When we came in we were greeted and our coats were taken and put away. They have rotating specials that our server walked us through. We ordered all three of the mock tails on the menu -- Odin's Oracle was a sparkling elderflower and passion fruit drink, the Northern Rose was fruity with a slight thick cream of coconut base (and the tables favorite!) and the last drink was a warm ginger drink. They all came out looking beautiful. For food, we started with the Halloumi Cheese which was delicious and perfect for sharing (comes with four pieces), then tried the Blueberry Ricotta Cornbread (really well made and yummy but needed a little more butter spread) and the fried burrata (huge serving of burrata with balsamic, fig jam, warm bread, just as good as it sounds). We tried the Braised Short Rib Croquettes which were stuffed with short rib and topped with sooo much yummy cheese. We also had the Pappardelle braised shore rib Ragu which was truly delicious-- would highly recommend. For dessert we tried a special menu bread pudding which was a perfect end to the night. Our leftovers came perfectly packaged in little baggies with dish names and dates written on them which is so cute and thoughtful! Overall I would order everything we got again and was so pleasantly surprised by the caliber of food at Oak Bistro-- get in and try it before it gets too popular!

My partner and I couldn't decide what to get from their a la carte menu so we ended up going for the four-course tasting menu instead ($85/pp), picking the omnivore and pescatarian options to see if we could try more items. We were actually a little underwhelmed at first, but the tasting menu got better and better after each course. The tasting menu started with some of their in-house pickles and ferments. We had some onion, green beans, and cucumbers, which I wished were crunchier. Each pickle had a good amount of acidity but I wouldn't have minded if the flavors were punchier. The first course of the tasting menu was a salad. Visually it just looked like a pile of lettuce, but they added a savory garlicky sauce and a sprinkle of asparagus salt that allowed the dish to feel refreshing and hearty at the same time. The radishes were crunchy, peppery, and delicious, and we were very pleased to find that many of the later courses also included raw radish. We ended up getting different dishes for the second course, one of which involved deep-fried arancini-like balls of risotto with a creamy sauce, and the other had a cold plant-based loaf served with a vibrant garlic sauce. Both dishes featured some fresh greens that balanced the carby heaviness. By the time we got to the third course, we realized that Forage makes their vegetables shine. The omnivore course came with a steak while the pescatarian course had a pan-fried fish, both of which were also available to be ordered a la carte. While we thought that the steak and fish were seasoned and prepared well, the vegetables stood out to us even more. They weren't prepared in any crazily innovative way but the chefs made the natural flavors of the vegetables shine in a way that complemented the rest of the dish very well. After the third course, we added one optional cheese course ($22/pp) that came with even more radishes. The hazelnut shortbread was super buttery and everything went well together. I was already feeling pretty full and was glad that we only got one cheese course instead of two. Finally, the fourth course had a maple semifreddo with seaweed crisps and a caramel nut sauce. This was amazing and something that I'll think about for a long time! I could really taste the maple flavor in the semifreddo, and the cold creaminess went so well with the salty, crispy seaweed and nutty, buttery caramel. The balance of textures and flavors in the dessert was excellent. Along with the tasting menu, we added one wine pairing ($60/pp). We liked some of the wines so much that we asked for more information about them and learned that some of the wines are imported in small batches. After experiencing how well vegetables are prepared here, I'd love to visit during different seasons to sample their vegetarian menu items.
