The staff were all very kind and the salon itself was nice. However, after going in for a walk-in appointment I understand why they have on their socials they prefer appointments (wish I knew this prior) and I strongly encourage them to be solely an appointment only based salon. I went in for a builder gel mani with French tips and ended up leaving with nails that have a series of inconsistencies. I am not a confrontational person nor do I ever feel comfortable saying anything in the moment but boy do I wish I did. A conversation was never had about what type of length or shape I wanted. It was actually so overlooked that a nail file and clippers were never even pulled out/used. Resulting in no uniform clean look to my nails, which if asked I would have specified an oval shape and a small tip. Which I know can be capable to do with builder gel. The polish and builder gel placement/coverage is also inconsistent and not neat, spots of my nail were missed and not cleaned up and chipping occurred within the same day I got them done. For paying $90 to get a professional to do my nails I would expect that they would look like a professional did them and took their time. The nail tech appeared to be focused more on the phone and preparing for upcoming appointments then the service of my nails and executing what I had asked for. I also provided her with a photo for reference of what I was trying to mimic - which again was a simple French, only tweek was I wanted a thin additional line under the French tip to give the illusion of a tiered tip. When I did my walked in I was fully aware I didn't have an appointment and those that made them would take priority so I would have been happy to have waited for when they had more time to do my nails to the best of their ability, instead of doing a squeeze/rush job.

My appointment was for 5pm but I was not taken until 5:20. I hate soaking my feet for too long and getting cold without being worked on so I declined and sat in my chair until someone freed up. When I make an appointment I expect to be seen on time. The pedicure and the massage were great and I felt very relaxed. Upon returning home I could still see calluses/dry skin and the whole reason I pay $70 for a pedicure is so someone to buff/scrape my skin until it's baby soft. She used an electronic buffer instead of a pumice stone/sponge like I've had before. Technology is not always better. There was also nail polish on my skin near my big toe that she did not wipe away/clean up. The new remodel looks beautiful and the customer service was much improved. The male working the front desk was so nice and kind, apologized for my long wait and kept me updated on the status of someone getting to me.

They drill down far too much as they want to get you out quickly. I have painful cuts on my cuticles now. I watched the nail tech take a nail clipper out of a box labeled clean tools, use it on me and then place it back in the same box without cleaning it at all. I hope I don't get an infection. Redeeming quality is they don't charge for using a credit card like everyone else does these days.
