There isn't anyone better than Marybeth and her team at Pampered Paws! We drive a half hour each way, crossing the bridge, because of her talent and the experience our two dogs have there every month. She is patient, kind, and so wonderful with all the dogs in her care. The dogs play with their friends and everyone comes home fresh and happy!

Kenzie has been groomed there for over 3 years and they never disappoint. Immaculate facility, friendly staff. This salon is the only one I use. Appointments should be scheduled ahead because they are so busy.

As new dog owners we were super nervous bringing our puppy for his first grooming. Marybeth put us at ease and Amos had a great experience. Amos is now 11 months old and we'd never consider another groomer. The quality of the grooming is great; Amos always looks so handsome and smells wonderful after his grooming. Great communication and service! We like that dogs are allowed to socialize and not crated unless necessary. Highly recommend!

Beautiful grooming job on my four legged family member, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

When you arrive you are greeted by a friendly staff and adorable furry little dog who sits on the desk . They are fantastic there. My dog was always afraid of the groomers. But not at Pampered Paws! I tell him where he is going and he jumps in the car and when we get there hi jumps right out and goes in. Everyone is so friendly and they respect your wishes. I don't like my dog created because he is a rescue and has been through a lot. Their prices are reasonable and it is a very friendly and happy salon for your pet. They are the best!!!!!!

Sully loves his hair cut and his new shamrock bandana!

Reposting this from my Google review. Stay away! A business should not operate this way. They…read moreshould not employ groomers like this. TLDR: inexperienced groomer (most likely or not very skilled), uneven groom and CUTS on his stomach that were NOT disclosed to me. EDIT/UPDATE at the end. I was unable to edit or add to my Google review. 2nd update at the end**** For reference, my dog is almost 4. He's a mini goldendoodle and weighs about 25 lbs. I had spoken with Kristen on the phone and she is also the one who groomed him. What I liked was she only had one other pup and my dog for the whole day, so I knew he wouldn't be stressed by other dogs. Upon arrival, I explained to her multiple times that he has separation anxiety, just wanted a teddy bear cut and removal of any matting if present/sanitary clean up. I also had expressed this during my initial booking. I STRESSED that if it seemed like he was becoming too anxious or nervous or upset, to please call me and I would come pick him up. I live 30 minutes away but stayed in the area for this exact reason. Never got a call. I walked into the grooming area itself to get him acclimated before I left. He was upset but that's normal for him so I thought nothing of it. When I picked him up, obviously he was dying to leave. I asked about matting and she told me he was in pretty good shape, aside from some small mattes she found when the brush wouldn't go through. She told me he nipped her or tried to at the end when she went to put a bandana around his neck, but in hindsight, she had him backed into a corner so he probably didn't like that. Ok...what new dog would be ok with this???? He does NOT know you and he was just stressed for 3+ hours. I can understand this can be a nice touch but he was clearly beyond stressed at this point. He was not groomed very evenly and I'm not really seeing a "teddy bear" aesthetic but I thought to myself, he made it through the appointment and that's not the most important thing ever. Let's go. I paid, left a 25% tip and took him home. She is a nice person, or so I thought. After what I saw when I got home, I changed my mind. When I got home, I noticed she did not clean his sanitary areas as I specifically asked for. I've attached a photo here of the cuts he sustained from this groom. He is groomed regularly as a doodle and he has NEVER been cut before. He seems playful and alright but I have no idea what happened inside that salon. His poor stomach is CUT up. And it's not one nick, it's multiple. The groomer absolutely should have indicated this to me when I came to pick him up and she said NOTHING. He was there for approximately 4 hours. I didn't get a call as to an update, so I stopped in after 3 ish hours. She told me to come back in half an hour and I did. I will NEVER go back to this salon. There is no excuse for this when I made myself available to come take him and certainly no excuse for not even making an owner aware that this happened!!!! I called them immediately when I saw this and left a voicemail. No response. I called again, no response. I will absolutely report this business if I do not get a phone call back from the owner and/or complain to the BBB. I feel absolutely terrible that he had this experience and that I brought him there. NEVER again will I put my dog through this. UPDATE: groomer & head groomer called me back to apologize. The owner has NOT. Groomer confirmed she is new and didn't even notice she cut him. Nor did she provide him with water for 4 hours. Unacceptable. Apologies sounded genuine but this reflects very poorly on the owner. I suggest NOT allowing new groomers to book full grooms for high maintenance dogs (poodles/doodles/aussies etc) and allow them to shadow/assist till they're ready. Cindy will fix him up but she's retiring. I will not return after and will not recommend this place ever. Your inexperience caused my dog to suffer. The nicks break my heart; could care less about the haircut itself. Never again. 2nd UPDATE: I took my dog back to see Cindy. She was great. He was only there for about 1.5 hours as there was not much she could fix haircut wise. He had an oatmeal bath and a trim on the missed areas. Cindy did issue me a refund without me asking for one. What remains off putting is the owner has STILL not reached out to me. She insists on communicating through her employees - Cindy informed me that the owner had told her to ask me if I'd remove my review. Nope, I will not. People have a right to know what sort of business they are patrons of and it speaks volumes that the owner themselves will not speak to a wronged customer.

I have used this groomer for my cat twice. The first review was a glowing account of a very nice…read morelady who did a good and thorough job with a skittish cat. I wish I could say the same for the last visit, but, unfortunately, I cannot.I will preface this review with my heartfelt uncomfortable regret for having to post a bad review. It's not my style; it's not something I do often or like to do. It upsets me to my core. That being said and with tears in my eyes, let's proceed. I will admit, it was nearly a month after the grooming that I contacted Alison to complain and ask her to fix it. My query was honest but not mean. The delay in contacting her was due to my being ill, and my not knowing what to say to her without hurting her feelings. Well...I've got to tell you I was shocked and appalled by her highly emotional, negative response which continued on as a barrage of nasty texts without my responding to most of it. What she said to me, how she said it and with vehement attitude was so far from any drop of professionalism or good customer service. She reported to me after both groomings that although my cat was skittish, once she started brushing her she calmed down and was a "total sweetheart", "no problem at all". I was happy with the first bathing, sanitary cut and brushout. The second time she went from wrapped in a towel and ran into the bedroom closet! I paid over $100 for what turned out to be a hack job of a grooming. She cut the center of her lower mane off and it just looks weird now. She was supposed to shave down her underside and butt completely. It's all uneven and looks ratty. The rest of her beautiful silky, shiny coat is now dull and when I brush her there are tons of loose clumps of fur that fly all over the place! Her fur is uneven on both sides, there are places that look chopped and she cut around the base of her tail...for what reason?? Not all of her claws were clipped, either! Looks ridiculous! Every time I look at my Tatum I get upset. I finally had to say something! Then she had the audacity to tell me my cat should be drugged. Not once, several times. I don't think it's the cat that needs to be medicated. For the record I sprayed her towel and her carrier with Feliway 10 minutes before she took her to the van. So, she was "drugged" but in a natural way. How dare she tell me to drug my cat!! She outright refused to do anything at all to Tatum or a partial refund or credit and chose to sever our relationship instead. Is this good business sense? I truly think she knew she had done an awful job and was trying to blame me for her lack of grooming knowledge with cats. The old Shakespeare quote, "Me thinks thou doth protest too much" very much applies here. So, I no longer can recommend this groomer in any capacity. She is not to be trusted as she is emotionally volatile, unprofessional and just not nice. Please do yourself a favor and find another groomer. I did!
