From the first meeting, where Kristen came to meet the dogs, I knew I had found someone who would care about my dogs as much as I do. One of my dogs really does like anyone but me. Kristen took her time, and I think spent extra time to get to know her. I received daily emails with pictures of how they were doing, which no Puppy Prison has ever done for me. When I got home, I saw how well they were, and looked happy and healthy as when I left them. When Kristen came to drop off my keys, my kids were excited to see her, so I knew right then, when I need a pet sitter, or pet walker, I know you to call, and you should too.

Not once did the dogs come back with the grooming I requested. Each time the dogs came home, they were both highly stressed. The last visit took 6 hrs before I was called to pick them up. When I brought my Morkie in for grooming today, I learned why her legs and feet had been very little grooming done. The owner very curtly informed me, that she was very fussy and they will not "force" a dog to be groomed.....I was stunned. The previous groomer we had been using, for over 5 ys (unfortunately the groomer retired) had no problem is grooming her legs and feet. I was told to find another groomer if I wanted her legs and feet groomed. I was also informed that I could not reschedule our second dog because there was not sufficient notice...I explained that she just became ill before I came in. Didn't matter. Obviously the warm reception finally made me finally decide that I would not let my dogs go anywhere near this "Happy Place"again. NEVER have we experienced such an unhappy, unfriendly place to do business with. I have no idea how they stay in business.

Not only does she do an extensive "interview" with you upfront during her initial consultation but she is always fully accessible and easy to get in touch with. The very best part of her services (besides the loving care she provides to pets of course) is that she takes pictures each time she visits your pet and posts them on her blog for you to see. Every evening I can see her blog and get pictures of my pet to know she's been taken care of and all is ok. It's very reassuring and her funny and sweet commentary on the pictures is such a nice touch. I would highly recommend Patti and Comfort Paws to anyone that wants peace of mind while they are away. Leaving one still needing to be trimmed. It's hit or miss if there will be someone friendly or not working there. I have 2 dogs and I did have a wonderful experience here in the past getting basic nails trims as well as full dog grooms however the last few times I've gone staff have been rude and there has been way too long of a wait. Going to be looking for a new place unfortunately.
