Thoroughly enjoyed the coffee - I ordered a half sweet iced white chocolate mocha with oat milk. Great lighting and gentle ambiance. I'll definitely be back to play chess and chat, read a book, or get some work done. They are the perfect location. Edward Vincent Park is also ~10 minute walk away. Super excited to have a locally owned coffee shop in the area. Just wish they were open later than 3pm!

The toast is apparently so good that they ran out when we got there! I'll have to come and update this review when I get a chance to try it. I got a cold brew and a coffee cake muffin, my bf got a matcha. I have to say I've never had cold brew this good, and that's without sweetener! They use Groundwork beans but didn't confirm if that's what the cold brew was made from. The muffin was also delicious, very soft and moist, tastes homemade. My boyfriend, who doesn't like muffins, loved it! And after his 1st sip of matcha he said it's 'the truth'. The women's working at the counter were very nice and personable. The service was pretty quick too. I love the warm, plant aesthetic the shop has too. 10/10 recommend, I look forward to coming back for to try the avocado toast

Many of the smaller artisinal coffee shops close around 2-3 pm. Luckily, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. Is not one of those early closers, and I'm so glad I was able to come here after work at 6pm before my long drive back to San Fernando Valley. Just the small sample that I got today already made me want to come back here. I got a cup of Americano made from Mount Haraz medium roast coffee from Yemen, and it was just so delicious with its slightly earthy but pleasant flavor. There are a lot of other unique coffee drinks from Mufawar ( Mount Haraz medium roast + cardamom) to Sheeba (Qishr coffee beans) with ginger & cinammon. And coffee is not the only thing on the menu that can take you on an adventure. The desert and pastries are all very tantalizing, from Saffron Milk Cake to Honeycomb Khaliat Al-Nahl cake to what I got, which is the very delicious Pistachio Kunafa Cheesecake. It was a real treat for anyone who wants to take their sweet tooth beyond the basic same ol' flavors you tend to see in majority of coffee shops! Additionally, the shop has a gorgeous interior decor with its high ceilings, beautiful murals, and exquisite presentation of your tasty treats! Love the tray the used for my Americano and dessert! I'll be sure to come back here, especially since it does open late!

It has everything I look for in a coffee shop/cafe: a robust menu of delicious beverage and food options, a good amount of comfortable seating, free parking (in the back), late hours, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance. My friend and I came in late on a Saturday night, and we were able to find parking and seating easily. We ordered the Rose Milk Cake and Kunafa Cheesecake, and we agreed that the former was definitely the standout of the two desserts. It reminded me a bit of Tres Leches - soft and moist sponge cake soaked in a delicious rose water-infused milk, topped with fluffy whipped cream. We had no trouble finishing the entire slice and leaving no crumbs behind. I was a bit underwhelmed with the Kunafa Cheesecake; it tasted like a standard cheesecake (on the drier side as well) with some shredded phyllo dough piled on top, and it didn't really remind me of Kunafa. However, I'd still be down to come back and try some of the other desserts, as well as their coffee. I loved the beautifully designed interior of the shop, especially the soaring ceilings and the stunning arched windows on the second floor. It seems like a pretty popular spot for both studying as well as catching up with friends. Overall, I really enjoyed Qamaria and am looking forward to returning!
