I picked up a mini apple cobbler (fresh out of the oven!) and a mini peach cobbler for a friend. The apple cobbler was warm, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The mini size is huge -- definitely shareable. My friend loved the peach cobbler so much he almost finished it in the car. Great little spot with delicious desserts and friendly service. I would normally rate a 5, but today I was dismayed. I went to purchase some cupcakes and cookies for a gathering. The cupcakes are no longer cupcakes. They look like a scoop of batter was baked into uneven little cakes, then topped with too much icing. I literally thought they were give away "mistake" goodies, but NO, they are the "new" cupcakes! Don't know why the owners made this decision, but if you're cutting costs, it absolutely shows. There was no cupcake wrapper as well, they looked unevenly baked, and really unappealing. I made an online pickup order at this bakery for the first time on Friday February 27, 2026 so my order can be ready when I get off work. I ordered a whole sweet potato pie and a slice of key lime pie. The whole sweet potato pie was for my work office party. When I arrived to pick up my order, they did not have my order and on top of that they were sold out of the whole sweet potato pie. The girl working the register seemed confused when I gave her my name and I told her that I was there to pick up my order. She kept looking for my order and couldn't find it. Instead of being honest and telling me they forgot about my order and they were sold out of sweet potato pie for the day, she tells me that they have not sold sweet potato pie for about 3 weeks. If that is the case they should make the sweet potato pie unavailable for people to order online. I was somewhat annoyed because it was my first time ordering from this bakery and all my coworkers were expecting a sweet potato pie for the office party. The only options of pie they had left for the day was the pecan pie and key lime pie so I chose the pecan pie. My coworkers said the pecan pie was not bad. The slice of key lime pie I ordered on the other hand was not that great. I've had better key lime pie, the texture seemed watered down. This place is always great as my "treat yoself" stop at the end of the week. The staff is always so sweet (pun intended) and helpful with all my questions. Today i got some banana pudding and it really hit the spot. Not too sweet but 100% satisfying. The shop is small and great for quick pickups rather than dining in. The parking lot can be a bit narrow but i usually pull into the wingstop lot and walk over. read more

Ordered on 3/15: Good ratio of pudding, wafers and banana, but the pudding was too sweet imo. This was my second time stopping by - they seem to run out of banana pudding by late afternoon on most days, so I recommend stopping by when they open to ensure you get your treats. Service was succinct and fast - there was only one person working the register, phones, and getting orders together so be patient! Parking is super easy as they have a lot and neighborhood street parking is not permitted. This is def a grab and go spot, there's no seating or bathroom for customers inside. **January 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit** I was in the area and was looking for some scrumptious dessert. Cobblers Cake caught my eye so my friend and I decided to check them out. We arrived pretty late in the afternoon so we didn't think they'd have many option, but we were lucky and they still had quite a few cobblers to choose from and several different sizes individual ($6.99), mini ($9.69), medium ($18.99), and Large $53.99, in addition to pies, cupcakes, and cakes. I decided to get a mini apple cobbler to share with my friend that evening and take a mini peach cobbler for my other friend's birthday whom I planning to see the next day. I didn't know at the time, but the apple cobbler was just taken out of the oven so it was as fresh as it could be. My friend and I spoiled our dinners and had pie first lol. We both really enjoyed the filling as the apples had a nice tartness to it and cinnamon didn't overpower the dish. It truly was not too sweet - which is a great compliment! Also, a mini really is quite large and while I suppose you could eat the entire thing, you probably should share. On the next day I warmed up the peach cobbler for my other friend's birthday and he really enjoyed it and basically ate the entire thing in the car, which should be a testament to how tasty it is. This bakery is really nice, and had a good assortment of different desserts. When we arrived was later in the day and supply was limited. I got an ice cream sandwich and my wife got banana pudding and a PB cookie. The service was nice, and the ambiance was very chill. My friend is always talking about the cookies that she's fallen in love with from this location. Well, I got tired of hearing about it and finally stopped in to check it out for myself. I trued the day old reduced price oatmeal raisin cookies ( 2 for $3) . When I say the size of the cookie was huge (well worth the $$$) but the taste OMG, was out of this world!!!!! Definitely the absolute best oatmeal raisin cookie I've ever had in my 58 years of life. The chocolate chip cookie is not my favorite and the cupcakes are whatever. The service is sometimey too. This used to be my favorite bakery. They have the best red velvet, cakes and cookies. They also sell Fosselman's ice cream. Old school bakery vibe. I wasn't a big fan of the 7up cake, I felt it lacked flavor. I enjoyed their red velvet and chocolate cakes so much that I decided to order one for my birthday this year. I placed the order a few days ahead with a woman and was guaranteed a pick up time of 11 AM on Sunday. It is now Sunday and I received a call before they opened at around 10:30 AM from Michael leaving on my message that a cake would not be ready for me today. I called him back to see if they had any other cakes to purchase and he said they did not. I could either get store credit or a full refund. Well get this for my full refund, I have to go in person...for a mistake that I did not even make. To top it off I am out of a cake for my birthday party tonight. I am so very sad as I really wanted to support a Black owned business being a person of color myself. But this is too unprofessional that I don't think I'll be coming back. I asked Michael for the owners name but he said he couldn't disclose that information. Interesting. Now I'm stuck scrambling for a cake last minute. so I pre-ordered a German chocolate cake and when I got there, it wasn't ready. The person took my order. Remember taking my order says they lost the paper and once worse is nobody there seem to care at all. The customer service was grotesque and I don't care how good you think your German chocolate cake is you don't have the right to treat customers like that. So instead, I was forced to get some German chocolate cupcakes which my review on those are you might as well get them from Walmart because they were hard and dense and really nobody ate them. I prepaid for a carrot cake a week and a half before Thanksgiving, with my pickup scheduled for the day before. I arrived at 3pm and was the 5th person in the prepaid line. I waited at least 10 minutes while the first customer was being helped, only to find out they didn't have her apple pies and tried to replace them with extra-small pies. Meanwhile, customers who *didn't* prepay were being helped quickly and leaving, while all of us in the prepaid line continued to wait. Out of the 5 people waiting, 3 of us did not receive what we paid for and had to be refunded. Customer service was, at best, a C-. I asked the young lady helping us if there was a supervisor available, and she said there wasn't one. She even called over to Wingstop, and their supervisor told her to just refund us. I also asked if the store was still owned by the original Black woman who started it, and she said it was not. That explained a lot. Two years ago, I ordered two large peach cobblers from this location, and they were so bad I couldn't even give them away. I walked over to Wingstop to speak to their supervisor, who was just sitting in the dining area and seemed clueless, when I asked who was the manager. One of them claimed to text the store manager, who was supposedly on vacation, with my information and said she'd call me on Tuesday. I never heard back. Note: This store is no longer owned or operated by the original people, and it clearly shows. Lesson for me is I have to start making my own carrot cakes, too. read more

One of my favorite dessert spots in Los Angeles! The storefront is conveniently located on Manchester and has on-side parking. The shop is super clean with desserts easily on display. Everything looks and smells amazing! Staff are always friendly and happy to answer questions. Cobbers Cakes and Kream has a great menu with something for everyone. The cobbler is excellent -- our favorite is the peach -- and we love getting cobbler for friends as presents! The red velvet cupcakes have been the item that keep us coming back over and over again, but after trying their banana pudding yesterday, I think I have a new favorite dish from this spot! I also want to give a shoutout to their cookies -- the chocolate chip was so good that my fiancée ate the cookie before I even had a chance to try it! Crust wasn't buttery or flavorful. Peaches didn't have any depth to the flavor - just sugar (no lemon or tartness). Coffee cake: C. Nothing special about it. It has a crust on top but it was pretty dry. Brownie: C-. Just a basic brownie that anyone can produce. I thought it would be extra moist but it wasn't. We spent $25 and threw it away once we got home. Maybe we ordered 3 of their least popular items but what are the odds? Perhaps their cakes are the draw and that's why they were all gone - who knows. Inglewood has some of the best sweets in town. This place has been around for a while. It's located in a strip mall near Wingstop, the Department of Rehabilitation, and its offices. Plenty to parking When you walk in you are welcomed by ladies who will take your order. The smell of the sweets fills the room as you decide which items to pick up. I usually get their chocolate and oatmeal cookies along with the key lime pie. The cupcakes, cakes, and pies are amazing too. There's also ice cream for your cobbler. They have a 1/2 price deal for the pastries from the day before. It's worth it to stop in and pick up some sweets. Enjoy! read more
