The outside is photo-worthy, the inside is just as cute, and the vibe was on point thanks to the owner's killer playlist (music videos included ). I went for the mint chip + chocolate brownie combo, and my guy doubled down on double chocolate chip. Both were chef's kiss delicious! Just wrapped up another Friendsgiving celebration and was in the mood for ice cream. Yelp to the rescued, Jamz caught my eye due to the reviews and the cool spelling of the name. We arrived and met Jay, who we would to learn is the owner. Nice and friendly, Jay shared that Jamz makes all their own ice creams and who doesn't love small batch ice cream! I ordered black walnut, chocolate brownie and I believe a salted caramel flavor. My absolute favorite was the caramel, followed by the chocolate brownie. This is a really chill ice cream shop. They have great music playing in the store. I heard a mix of UK hip-hop, reggaeton, and US hip-hop while enjoying my ice cream. There are some really cool flavors beyond chocolate and vanilla. I had the pecan praline on a waffle cone. There were obviously chunks of pecan with chunks of pralines, but there was also maybe caramel? Very interesting ice cream. The service was fast, and everyone is kind. Absolutely delicious! In town for the game this evening (Sunday Night Football at SoFi). Ate lunch nearby and then walked to JAMZ on the recommendation of our server. Such a good decision. This house made ice cream was thick and creamy, so full of flavor! Kids saw pics of the Mint Chip on Yellow and decided before we even walked in that's what they wanted. It did NOT disappoint. So much mint flavor but also full of chocolate bits. It was great. I also got cookies and cream (my fav) and it had a deep, rich flavor with nice chunks of cookies that n every bite. My wife prefer rainbow sherbet and ate the whole scoop (she rarely finishes a full scoop!). We (10 of us total) had plenty of seating inside and it was bright and colorful. There were a few vegan friendly options (mostly sorbets) but I went with a cookies and cream scoop. It was fine and icy but nothing too remarkable aside from it being a non-fruit option. I probably wouldn't get it again. I enjoyed being able to chill inside and enjoy the large TV screens blasting some solid music videos. I am so disappointed with this place. I found out about this place from the HBO show "Insecure", and I used to love coming here to get a delicious ice cream sundae, a fusion, and amongst other things. Lately, I've been using other carrier services and ordering it that way. And, for the past few orders it's been either one item terribly packaged, a missing item, a whole other order and even a moment I set an order in place with my DoorDasher calling to tell me that no one was inside the shop. And still, I continued to keep ordering from here. Well, today was another disappointment because I received my fusion terribly packaged in a way that it's hazardous-- spilt out with straw stuck inside of it still wrapped. I called the creamery immediately. Once I got a hold of someone, I voiced out my concerns about this poorly packaged item and later received a nonchalant response. The sir blamed the gentleman who delivered because this is the first that they ever received a notice about an item being poorly packaged. I stated that I received a paragraph message from my deliverer telling me he got it that way from shop and take it as is. I'm sorry, but the shake should've been in a cup holder and not just in a paper bag with a straw stuck inside of it, with wrapper still on. I am immensely disappointed with it resulting to this, because the ice cream is delicious, but I am left no choice but to end ties with ordering from here again. Hmm maybe we came on an off day because our experience was a bit different from all the glowing reviews.... We came in to get some ice cream as a mini celebration for our anniversary. Whoever was helping was did allow us to sample the ice creams (we sampled 3 between the two of us), but I felt some impatience coming off and felt unwelcomed. Maybe we took too long to decide? Also the ice cream itself tasted a bit old/dry, and not as creamy as I thought or expected. Our experience was a bit of a let down. I get why it's called "creamery" it's so smooth and closer to the texture of gelato. The flavors are subtle with the root of vanilla. I had a strawberry and banana shake that was amazing, peanut butter cookie and sugar cookie. you could taste the fresh fruit in the shake unlike some places that just use fruit syrups in their product. Delicious little gem in Inglewood. I was in the area, and I was craving something sweet after eating some salty pizza. I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try after seeing all of the amazing pictures. I also saw that it was a black owned business, so I knew I had to go and support. The owner greeted me and was so sweet and helpful, being it was my first time. He allowed me to try a couple of flavors before I made my decision. I decided to go with the chocolate malt crunch ice cream and the yellow cake, which is one of my favorite cakes! I topped it all off with a caramel drizzle. This treat was so tasty!
