Stopped by this location because I was told they have one of the best cheesecakes around. I purchased two flavors by the slice which was $9 a slice. You have the option to purchase a whole cheesecake as well and price is based on the size. I ordered the banana cheesecake and the French vanilla cheesecake. The cheesecake was delicious it was creamy and rich and the crust was the best part. Only thing I didn't like was the tart of the banana which I suspect came from adding lemon juice on the bananas to keep them from browning. Other than that, I loved it. My friend ordered the sweet potato cheesecake and said it was transcending and one of the best cheesecakes she's had. She mentioned the cheesecake had the right amount of sweet and tart and she loved the crust but prefers a more crunchier texture. The space is small so there's no seating to enjoy your food so it will be to go. The staff was nice and welcoming which I appreciate. Only thing I would add as far as ordering is the ability to order online and also having to go boxes (not a gift box) to help with transport because they provide you a paper plate with saran wrap and that isn't too great for transport when you purchase more than one slice. All in all I highly recommend and will return

the cheesecakes were delicious!!! i tried their sweet potato cheesecake, german chocolate cheesecake, & praline cheesecake. With each taste i kept being blown away as the flavor combinations were so good & the texture was perfect. They tasted very fresh too! Customer service is great & the inside is a casual mom & pop shop.

This place is a fantastic shop to get cheesecake. They sell in slices or whole cakes with a wide variety of flavors. I came on Saturday for my second visit to this establishment. The shop is located in a narrow strip with limited parking next to an Ethiopian restaurant (which I recommend despite not being my style). Upon entering, there is a counter with a blackboard behind it which lists the flavors for WHOLE tin cheesecake orders. Over to the right is some memorial decorations along with a white board listing SLICE flavor availability. Srrvice was nice, friendly, and swift. This visit I ordered the turtle slice but last time I had the golden oreo slice. The golden oreo slice I had in the past was very creamy and rich with flecks of golden oreo and a nice oreo graham shell. The turtle slice was dense, heavy, and rich with a brownie in the midst of the cake and slattered with chocolate and caramel. The actual cheesecake content is creamier than traditional cheesecake. The cheesecakes sliced nicely with a fork or spoon. All in all I really love the cheesecakes here for the texture and quality of their cakes. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended cheesecake specialty shop with over 60 gourmet cheesecake flavors. We tried the praline cheesecake. The cheesecake was luxuriously creamy--rich yet incredibly smooth and silky. The crust had a crisp, satisfying crunch, and the praline filling with its nutty topping brought everything together into a truly perfect cheesecake.

Hands down the best cheesecakes ever!! Praline is the most popular and for good reason. Absolutely decadent and delicious. Sweet potato was also good. I got both for different holiday events and they were a hit with everyone! They sell whole cheesecakes in 3 different sizes but they also have daily slices as well. A slice is $9, the smallest pie is $35 so it's much cheaper to do a whole pie. The slices come on a cheap plastic plate wrapped in Saran Wrap, like cafeteria style. The slices I've tried so far: Golden Oreo: tastes like a regular cheesecake tbh. Strawberries and cream: I'm pretty sure they made a mistake and gave me a plain slice because there was absolutely no indication of strawberry visually or taste wise either. Chocolate brownie: super dense and decadent. 10/10.

I'm a stickler for the perfect cheesecake CRUST and the classic cheesecake is near perfection. Once every few birthdays I get a whole Harriet's cheesecake to indulge in by myself. Every time, it's great! Definitely still making my way through the menu, but the classic will always be a solid, consistent, go-to. Also can recommend the white chocolate raspberry and praline cheesecake. Ms. Robin was so sweet. I called to place my order two days ahead and it was seamless. You can feel her warm spirit through the phone. She also called me the day of and made sure I was coming to get my order as I was a bit late lol. Now I can't say much for the ambiance. Harriet's is a tiny, old, staple, and very much in its original form or close to it. They do deserve a renovation, but the kitchen looks spacious and the cheesecakes are worth coming to town for so I wouldn't change a thing.

Living up North, I looked forward Thanksgiving holidays in Southern California with family because Harriet's praline cheesecake would be the star of the dessert table. In town for an unexpected weekend and decided to introduce them to Harriet's. Ms. Robin, Ms. Harriet's daughter was at the bakery the day we went. Too many amazing options per usual, so we went with the key lime and sweet potato cheesecake slices. Absolutely delicious! Rich, sweet, creamy, flavorful, perfect texture, all the boxes were checked!

There's no question it is expensive per slice so I usually end up buying a whole pie and eating half of it. Unfortunately the cost of everything has doubled and there are a small business so they don't get anything discounted with the expenses that they have they either charge the prices or go out of business. I love every pie they have the Keylime is my favorite. I just hope they can continue with the small staff that they have putting out great ingredients. Thank you for always putting such great ingredients. Makes all the difference in the world.

Called to order a cheesecake, but they unfortunately don't do any holds and it would be first come first serve. The lady on the phone was nice to let me know how many of each cheesecake were available though! Not sure about the inside or seating options since my bf went to pick up. Their menu had a variety of cheesecakes which was intriguing. I opted for their top seller praline cheesecake. It had plenty of nuts and was creamy, but the crust was falling apart, a bit soggy, and didn't have that slight crunch I was looking. Also a bit too sweet in my opinion. For $35 and same day pick up, it was a decent cheesecake if you're in need for one, but I would probably try a different flavor.

Grabbed some cheesecake slices. French Vanilla, Lemon & Oreo cookie.

Picked up some slices for my husband's birthday. Which were Oreo cookies n cream, Lemon & French vanilla. I must say the lemon is my most favorite! If you love lemon like me. It's a must try. There were all very delicious!! The cheesecakes are not too sweet. Which is a plus for us. It's very creamy & decadent. Cute little grab & go cheesecake shop. Robin is always welcoming :)

If you're looking for some good homemade cheesecake Harriet's is the best place! It is located in a small plaza. My first time here I could not decide on a cheesecake. One of the employees informed me that any cheesecakes with a pin next to it on the menu board was sold out. There was probably about 20 different flavors listed. The lady helping my friend and I was so patient with us. She took time to explain what toppings where on each cheesecake and her recommendations. We both decided to get 2 cheesecake flavors a piece. I got a strawberry and mango lime. My friend got a strawberry and banana pudding. The cheesecakes are $9 piece. They are so worth it. The texture, flavor, and toppings were immaculate. I managed to finish my cheesecake slices in one setting. Each flavor tasted like exactly what they were. My friend stated the banana pudding cheesecake is phenomenal and she had never tasted anything like it. We plan to come back here very soon and try some more flavors. I am so happy I found a new dessert shop. This was a great recommendation from my coworker.

I've been wanting to try this cheesecake spot for a whiiile, and I finally did today. I got the sweet potato cheesecake... mannnn... they told me I was gonna be back there everyday after I try this cheesecake and they was nottttt playing. If you a cheesecake/sweets lover, you need Harriet's cheesecakes in your life. Beats Cheesecake Factory for me. God bless yall

Ask the Community - Harriet's Cheesecakes Unlimited

Planning a trip from up North to Harriet's again and want to have BBQ for dinner. Does anyone know the name of the BBQ place next door, if it's still there?

Yes, it’s still there! It’s called Phillips Bar B Que.

    Is this business still open?

    Yes

How long do they last, say if I picked up Wed and wanted to serve it Friday?

Yes, you can absolutely pick it up 2 days in advance. The cheesecake will still be delicious.

What days and hours is it open? Website seems to no longer be working.

I believe it's Tues-Saturday 10-6. But you can always call to verify.

How many calories does one slice of praline cheesecake have? (I understand it's going to be high, but I just want to know. Haha)

This is a cheat day cheesecake. I wouldn't count calories on this one unless you're doing some sort of calorie challenge.

Is the new payment system ready to use at this very moment? If not, when?

    Cash only

Do they take Apple Pay or debit, or is it cash only?

Hello, we are currently cash only, however, we will be introducing our new payment system shortly. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Do they have sugar free cheesecakes?

No not here, try Sugar Free Market or Juniors online. Yelp would lead the way for you on that.

Does anyone know ANY other cheesecake/pie stores that can make the praline pie?! I did not expect them to sell out 2 whole weeks before Thanksgiving and this was suppose to be my dish :/

Tomat has quickly become one of my favorite food destinations in the West LA and El Segundo areas…read more Tomat occupies a three-story restaurant, with the first floor doubling as a cafe/restaurant, the second floor an event space, and the top floor is an open-air dining/gathering area (very, very cool spot). We have yet to eat dinner there, so my review will focus on breakfast and brunch/lunch. The cafe and breakfast offerings are a welcome respite from mass-manufactured pastries and mass-distributed coffee with the pastries made by their in-house pastry chef. One of the things that makes Tomat stand out is that their chefs are constantly pushing the envelope and experimenting with new approaches. We recently tried their Creme Brulee-topped Cinnamon Roll, and it was as mouth-watering as it was unique. And if you aren't in the mood for morning culinary extravagance, Tomat's fresh approach at scones dispels the notion that they are all created equal. They are a must-try. The brunch experience was one of the best we have had in West LA. We ordered the Blue Masa Pancakes and the French Toast. The pancakes delivered exactly what we were looking for: A sweet option with a decent amount of substance. The French Toast hit all of the notes: It was not over dipped and the slight charring added a perfect amount of crispness to create a full experience. As Tomat has expanded/grown, I have been a increasingly frequent customer, and every experience has been enhanced by the staff's attention to detail and service. General comment: Tomat makes me insanely proud to have a restaurant where I can, with enthusiasm, recommend family, friends, and co-workers from out of town to put on their dining bucket list. Because of the chefs' constant focus on innovation (think "The Bear" here), I am excited to be a beneficiary of their creativity and vision.
