The only reason I even give this place a star is their egg drop soup was very good. However, the customer service is very poor here, the lady was rushing me as I was trying to reas my husbands order in my phone & she was rolling her eyes the entire time. Now as far as their food it was very nasty. We ordered the coconut shrimp I believe is the name & as we opened the container it reeked of fish smell my husband took a bite & nearly threw up. I really would never recommend this place to anyone. IF we where to go back it would be for egg drop soup ONLY. Even the ambiance was very odd. They don't great you & it's just awkward lol. First off the place was very clean the 2 girls were polite and friendly so good start now let's get to the food , the portions were generous they have many different mains to choose from. I'm very happy with the new Chinese fast food in El Cajon.The food is fresh, Hot and very appealing to the eye went in there for a sample lunch bowl ended up buying much much more family enjoyed the plates for dinner and I didn't have to cook in this hot weather! A must try is the Beef Broccoli perfect flavor broccoli done just right! Don't forget the BBQ Pork so flavorful and they give super generous portions. PanPan is very good and reasonably priced great place to pick up some grub. read more

We have been searching for a new Chinese Food favorite and we were hopeful to try Pan Pan wok, but it did not meet our expectations! The orange chicken and teriyaki chicken entrees were delicious but the chow mein and rice did not have much flavor! You definitely get the bang for your buck as the portions are well served. The employees seem to be rushed and make you feel like it, constantly asking "is that it?". Looks like we'll keep going to our regular Chinese Food place. read more

I tired it for the first time this past Saturday. I've had a lot of Chinese food from various Chinese restaurants and, unfortunately, I have to say that this was the worst I ever had. I had a hot and sour soup, which I normally love but the flavor was not that good. I think they put too much crushed red pepper in it. How can they totally screw up a shrimp fried rice dish? That was the meal I ordered. It was so bland that I had to order soy sauce to it, so it had any flavor. The rice was very dry! It's as if they hardly fried it. I won't go back there again! First of all this place needs to close down their food taste stale no matter how much they pretend to make it look fresh now let's talk about the awful Crab boil it was the most disgusting,disgusting crab boil I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of crab boil's the price did not matter to me their crab boil was $40 dollars I thought it would have been worth $40 dollars but absolutely not I usually spend $70 dollars were I drive way down to Point Loma 3960 W. Point Loma Boulevard San Diego CA 92110 to the King Crab Cajun Seafood Boil Restaurant where it is worth the drive if you want to know what a real seafood crab boil looks and taste like that is the place to go it seems like PanPan Wok Chinese food quickly decide to throw together something and call it a crab boil in the crab boil they say that there are sausages instead of sausages they have the audacity to put cut up hotdog pieces not only that there was no sauce nor color indicating that the food was seasoned I also asked if the had spicy seasoning that they had personally come up with and all she said was Cajun was her favorite i could have went home and add cajon if I wanted something basic I did not really want Cajun but it did not matter the food tasted like dirty unclean sea water they don't even have a special sauce that they have personally come up with for the crab boil all I could smell once I received my food was the smell of dirty sewer water the food had no flavor at all I mean none what so ever also I don't know what type of potatoes they used but the way they cut the potatoes was very messy to the point the potatoes in the bag were sliced in a thin form but not really to thin they were big but long and all mush together and they did not taste fresh nor look fresh as the other crab boils that have potatoes I have eaten other places were when you take a bite of the potatoes you can still see the inside of the potatoe were it is white in the inside indicating the potatoes are fresh and the shrimps were just devastating to eat each bite of the shrimp it felt like the shrimps explode it in my mouth with tons of dirty sink water with pus from the shrimp just nasty I will ever eat there again no matter what the case maybe PanPan Wok in El Cajon on 2nd street need to give up on making crab boils and stick to the other disgusting food that they make period. read more
