Unfortunately, my experiences with the afternoon and evening staff have been the complete opposite. Many employees appear bored, irritated, or frustrated to be there. Simple requests are often met with attitudes that make customers feel like they are asking for a favor rather than receiving a service they are paying for. As a paying customer, I should not feel uncomfortable asking for something related to my order. Another concern is the way some employees interact with customers. On several occasions, I have noticed staff staring at customers and then laughing among themselves. I have no way of knowing what they are talking about, but it creates an uncomfortable environment and can easily make customers feel judged, unwelcome, or insignificant. I am leaving this review because I know how great this business can be. The morning team demonstrates the level of customer service that keeps people coming back. I hope management takes a closer look at the customer experience during the afternoon and evening shifts because the difference is significant and is affecting what has otherwise been a positive experience as a long-time customer.

Lots of variety of traditional Jewish delights, Babka, Hamamtashen, Rugelach, Challah, Russian Tea Cake (a must have) plus all the cookies and danish you can imagine. It's all very good and will kill any dieting plans you had. They have added a selection of Ube baked goods, but not sure why or how that fits with the old school Jewish bakery theme, but it's there. I have no particular interest in that. As far as service, its alway fairly busy, but line moves fairly fast. The staff has morfed to mostly very young counter people that have zero interpersonal skills and are not friendly. The only warmth you will get here is freshly baked Challah. Still worth a visit.
