I really enjoy their tuna salad sandwich, although all sandwiches are very good. The bread is always fresh, and sandwich is made just how you like it. I like that you can get 3 different sizes. This location in the Nave shopping center is my favorite of all locations. You can sit inside, or outside at one of the many tables. I find the center atmosphere calming with the fountain nearby.

I had written a review some time ago on an old Yelp account about this place. The food is usually pretty outstanding - we love the sourdough bread. In my older review, I complained that my order was typically missing something, and most recently, an entire sandwich. The experience hasn't stopped us from frequenting the establishment, though. The food is very good. Today, I placed an order for my team because we were working on a gorgeous Saturday so buying lunch was the least I could do. My order arrived and I thought it was a mistake. Inside, there was an extra chili, an extra sandwich, and four drinks. Even more impressive, a hand written note apologizing for their mistake, and thanking me for coming back. Very very impressive - this was a totally class act. Thank you!!

Top notch sandwich! Perfect ratio of meat to fixins, crisp sourdough bread, and nice service! They even give you a taste of one of their soft chocolate chip cookies with every sandwich. Easy parking and nice patio seating.

Bread is absolutely crunchy and delicious.. I got the tuna sandwich and my friend got the vegan option with bunch of vegetables and both were delicious.. 10/10 if you want something quick, healthy, and tasty. And the people working were very nice and helpful.

Delish! If you are in the mood for a good sando then this is your spot. The sourdough bread is good and fresh and they have all the toppings and options that you would want in a sandwich. They have their signature sauce which seems like a mix of Horseradish and mayo of some kind. It is a nice touch. I always add peppercini's on mine as well. They also try to get you in and out as fast as they can but since it is popular you might be waiting for a bit. My only gripes are that the soups can be bland and you will be paying a premium price but at the same time this is a fresher option than say, subway. However (at the novato location) Nugget is just down the street and is pretty much the same price for a much more premium sandwich. Just something to think about. In closing, it is good and I do come here for lunch for my family and everyone seems happy with the outcome. If you do stop by, try the Turkey & Pastrami.

Either website is broken or whoever work there is a damn idiot. I ordered a caprese makes you choose a a cheese and spread option. I wasn't aware I had to put the other damn ingredients in a caprese when there's like 3. I didn't ask for them removed or anything. I got a damn cheese and aioli sandwich abomination instead of a caprese.

Not bad but not great. I ordered the chicken Cesar salad with ranch, and the rest was great but the ranch was so vinegar-y that it was super sour and the salad tasted weird. To add to that, the cheese was super sharp, so it added to the sourness of the salad. Overall not bad but wouldn't order that again.

Theres hiking trails or places where we go to get to the Ocean. In order to go to them, we have to drive through Novato to get there. But whenever we are out in Marin, we usually just defeat to eating a Sol Food(If you know you know...). Recently we wanted to try something different. Ayawaska is about the experience. A very bold name but from the moment you walk in, to the moment you start eating your food you will quickly understand why they chose that name. All the workers are professional but also very friendly. Their cocktails are all delicious. Theres something about taking a sip and peering out the windows and seeing the view. For a minute it really feels like we are in another world. They really chose such a cool location for a restaurant. For food, I saw the Paella adjacent dish on the menu and I immediately knew what I was ordering. Arroz con Mariscos. We did order some Empanadas. I hate mushrooms but I had a bite of the Empanada Veggie. It's all mushrooms dude...alllll mushrooms...but it was good. My favorite was the Empanada de Lomo. But both Empanadas were delicious. They had a nice flaky crust but had really generous fillings. The flavors were so dang good. But with the Arroz con Mariscos I loved all the fixings it came with and how it was decorated. All kinds of onions and bell peppers everywhere. The rice itself wasn't overcooked or undercooked. And most of all there were giant shrimps along with calamari and clams. Altogether this was a symphony of Seafood and rice. This probably could be shared between two people. Unless you are just really hungry. So long story short, I highly recommend this place. Sometimes you go to fancy places like this and they got the nice decor. Sure. They got a nice view. Cool. But at the end of the day, the meal and the overall experience is what matters right? Ayawaska is the full package. If you live in the area and haven't tried this place yet, you are definitely missing out.
