The best $4.00 I ever spent on a chocolate churro. Great snack if you are in the mood for a hot churro. I ordered the chocolate churro and I was impressed. The churro was delicious and had the correct ratio of chocolate to churro (not dripping in chocolate but enough to cover the churro). They have a mobile truck which is awesome. A great little stand outside the cross section of Holt and Indian Hill Boulevard. I believe it's where the old Montgomery Ward building used to be. My wife got four churros; plane, strawberry, caramel, and tres leches. They were warm, crispy, and she said very good. She is from Guadalajara so I will have to take her word for it. It's a small little kiosk outside, but if you get a chance go there you won't be disappointed. They are $4 a piece. read more

Churromania Bakery serves the best caramel-filled churros, just like the ones I had growing up in South America--crispy on the outside and perfectly sweet inside. You can even add ice cream to make it a sundae, and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is always welcoming, and I enjoy chatting with them in Spanish whenever I stop by. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall spot, but they do accept Apple and Samsung mobile Pay, which is convenient. Just be aware that parking can be a bit challenging. The churro was delicious. The fill was the perfect amount. The place is located inside the Pomona Indoor Swapmeet. Not to much of any ambiance but fits the location. I thought the service wasn't the best. She was unpleasant and seems disturbed by me. $4 for a churro is pricey as well. read more

I came here after work and saw that they were selling churros in a truck in the parking lot of the Pomona swap meet. I chose to get the lechera filled churro, $2.50 each and a iced vanilla coffee ($5). The churro was fresh and filled with leche. The churro did not get soggy quickly after driving home to eat it. I'm by no means a churro expert but i love food and we went for a drive and saw the welcoming lights of a churro truck beckoning. I got the churro works which comes with bite sized churro, whipped cream, jam, and condensed milk. My first bite melded all the flavors of creamy, sweet, and a little tart with the jam. It blended very well with the cinnamon sugar churros and tasted like stuffed french toast. The inside was kinda donut like in texture..aka pretty fluffy. A wonderful and unique churro!! Pre Covid review: So I had bookmarked this spot but I could never find it and never have the time to go there. It wasnt until my friend took me in December and I realized this was the place!! I was looking for a legit Mexican churro and I didn't want to go so far cuz I know there are spots in Orange County and LA but you know it's more expensive. It wasnt until I attended Cal Poly Pomona that I realized there was some spots near me. I do love how it's in an indoor swap meet, idk it feels more authentic to me. Not your average churros! Churros here are extra long and super fluffy (not dry like many others). I go out of my way to come here and the taste never disappoints! Try the churro sundae, you won't regret it. Cons: - on the pricier side (but worth it) - the food truck is very inconsistent with their schedule, they claim to be stationed right outside of the Pomona Indoor Valley Mall Fri-Sun 7p-10p but this is inaccurate on most weekends. They deactivated their instagram and TikTok so they are unable to post updates as usual. read more

Churromania is hands down the best. After having been to their location in the Pomona swap meet a couple times, my wife and I wanted them to be our dessert vendor at our wedding. I gave Noemi a call and though our wedding was out in Temecula, they were willing to drive our and provide churros to our guests. If I had a dollar for every compliment their churros were given that night I'm convinced it would've paid for the whole wedding lol. So happy with them and their service. I ate 2 hrs after I blught and tasted just at the border of turning bad (cream has been solidified, and cake itself I feel wet outside dry inside). I throw it away after. The other locations are much better quality than this location. I don't think I'll take the risk to try again in future and the price is even a little higher than other locations, but worse quality.

I called in a few days ago to order an 8" strawberry cake for my husband's birthday and requested no almonds on the side since my kids are allergic. I went to pick it up today and found the bakery in an Asian shopping plaza next to the Asian market. They had a few buns in the shelf as you walk in, so I picked up a coconut bun to try (only $1.50! Yay!). The interior is bare bones, with a few dusty fake cakes for display. The bakery shelves are covered up since they don't seem to sell anything besides cakes and a few buns. We ate the cake tonight but I was silently crying tears inside. While the sponge cake itself was nostalgically good, I noticed that there were barely any strawberries in the cake. It's summer and full on strawberry season, so to see that they were so skimpy on the strawberries was a major disappointment. This has got to be the saddest Asian strawberry cake I've ever had. In. My.life. All of our slices of cake had a sliver of strawberry hiding in a massive amount of cream (I guess to make the cake look bigger and taller). I ordered a strawberry cake, not a cream cake with a strawberry garnish. I added an extra star for the cake quality, but am not a fan of the excessive cream-to-cake ratio or the lack of strawberries in the filling. There are better Asian cakes available on the other end of the 10, so I won't be back. Cash only. Also, fyi, this bakery is in a neighborhood where I saw 5 scantily clad prostitutes walking the streets (at 2:00 in the afternoon) and about 6 homeless people were hanging out in the plaza a few feet away from the bakery.

The next day, it was delivered and perfect! The delivery driver was very sweet and helpful. Everyone loved the food and there was a lot. We were all full and had a bit left over. Having been to London a few times I was really impressed by how traditional the tea felt. The scones, the egg and mayo sandwich, and the Viennese whirls in particular.
