Order a cake for a 65th birthday and the cake we receive was a total disaster. What was order was a strawberry cake, with a Bavarian cream and strawberry jam filling. What was received was a dense yellow cake, what a very thin layer of cream, and strawberry glaze. This caused the cake to be unstable, so they put three skewers through the cake, which just tore up the cake. When contacting them, they stated they would give a refund. Upon arriving back at the business, they stated they needed cake so they could fix it. Offer to show them a pictures, at which time they refused the refund because I didn't have the cake. It didn't even look like anything on the site. So, in my opinion, if you don't want a mediocre cake, go elsewhere. read more

I ordered 3 dozen mini conchas in pink for my daughter's quinceanera dessert table. They were a hit. I didn't even get to grab pictures as the kids were grabbing them right up. From the moment they were picked up, the smell was delectable. The location is very small but don't be swayed by that. The pastries are incredibly and fresh. The order went smoothly. I had been coming here for years when the Elderly couple owned it. Didn't know they had sold it over a year ago (as I was sick for almost a year) I came back & the first visit or two the Conchas & Pigs we're exactly the same & the younger lady/new owner, at the counter swore that the mexican bread would stay exactly the same & they would keep using the same exact recipe that was passed down by the original older owners, but unfortunately it has changed dramatically. Walked in only to find the disappointing small sized bread. We didn't think anyone was in there since we weren't even greeted, and the place was quiet. The conchas were bare, and looked flat not fluffy. There wasn't much to choose from. I bought a small prepackaged bag of semitas for my mother. Only to get home and smell them. They were definitely bad. They smelled like mold and had a chemical taste. By the way, we waited a few moments at the counter calling out waiting for someone to come check us out. Finally a moody man came out. I paid 9.00 for a few pieces of bread and a bag of rotten semitas. He gave me my change from a 20, and looked to see if i was going to put something in their tip jar.
