Good coffee and good treats. A nice and relaxing place when you need to catch the ferry too.

Food was microwaved & bam you get an $10 breakfast sandwich. Tables to have to wipe down yourself. I've asked for a cup of water prior to the one I've already asked and wanted to charge me $1 for another one. Good thing I kept my cup and they just refilled my cup. Def. A quick stop to get off the sun.

TL;DR: Horrible customer service. Horrible drinks. Sticky tables. Dead flies. Slow service. Expect zero personality from staff. While you arrive and verbally say hi to the staff and they're putting a sticker on the cup while you're at the front of the line, expect no response while he slowly places the sticker on the cup for 20 seconds and finally, after 20 seconds, says "HiWhatCanIGetForYou?" When they make your drink way too hot and you ask for a remake, don't expect a "Sorry!" Or any acknowledgement of the error... after you receive the fixed drink, and you say "Thank you!" DO NOT - I repeat, DO NOT expect a "you're welcome" or an "Enjoy!" After you sit down and see the sticky, dirty tables, expect to need to wipe the crumbs off with a napkin. After you sit at your recently-wiped-table, expect to examine the dead flies and spilled coffee in the windowsill. Expect the service to be the same as how the ferry parking building smelled: like piss.

Great spot next to the Ferry terminal. I like grabbing a cup of coffee or a Iced Matcha before I take the ferry to San Francisco. I ordered the Iced Matach Latte with oak milk. The latte had the right amount of sweetness, earthiness, and slight bitterness. Service was pleasant and quick, just in time as the ferry arrived! The vibes are chill and quiet to work on your laptop. Overall great coffee shop.

We definitely needed a coffee before heading to the ferry, and this place was perfect. The drinks were amazing, and the staff was impeccable--knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend stopping here before catching the ferry. We ordered warm drinks, and I especially loved the dirty chai. I can't wait to come back and try the other chai options they offer. It's a great spot for family and friends to grab a quick bite and a delicious drink before the ferry ride.

If you're looking for a cute pretty in pink cafe to take selfies THIS IS NOT IT! This cafe is a day to day neighborhood vibe and I LOVE IT. This cafe is pretty lit and live on a Saturdays and more chill during the week. It's a good place to get some work done, read, maybe a first date aka meet & greet or just people watch while having something to eat. It's is a traffic flow area of people coming in and out as well as walking by. I love the customer service at Panama Bay. The customer service is always great. The staff here greets you and gives you suggestions on what to order. The food and smoothies are good. I order the same thing for the most part (smoothie & croissant sandwich) & it's always a hit My classmate ordered a white coffee & turkey bacon melt. She said it was really good. I recommend you try this cafe if you're looking for a down to earth spot to chillax at.

While waiting for the ferry, kick back in comfort in this coffee shop. Everyone is helpful serving coffee and foods. The house coffee was tasty and hot. There are a lot of seats and tables but many get claimed as we wait for the ferry. The area inside the shop is clean.

Panama Bay Coffee has been on my bucket list for awhile. I was passing through on the way back to Vallejo, and made the stop for a late lunch. I really was craving a chai tea latte! I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the counter (I didn't have a wait at all) and orders a turkey, egg, cheese, sammie + small (12 oz) chai latte latte, to go. My drink was ready right away and my Sammie not too much long after that. Chai tea latte (hot; substitute w/ oat milk)- delicious!!!!!! I love the chai flavor, it was strong...which I absolutely love. It was hot for quite a bit of time. Creamy. I should have ordered a larger size! Turkey, egg, cheese sammie (on a croissant, pepperjack cheese)- I ordered my sandwich bread to be a croissant (other choices were bagel or English muffin). The croissant and entire sandwich was perfectly warm! No partof my sandwich was cold.the croissant tasted like it had butter, and it was so flaky!!!! I was happy with my sandwich overall. It did not lack on taste at all! Yummy!!!! I definitely will return to Panama Bay Coffee!! Till next time! :)

Bathrooms were pretty disgusting today no soap urine all over the floor. I think it's a common bathroom with the building. Pretty empty around 2 PM. Staff was friendly. I asked if the coffee was hot or fresh. They said yes, pretty stale bitter and then Ended up giving me a sour stomach. I got the vibe like no one really cares about how this place is run.

I looove this place. I've only had their iced lattes but it's a good coffee. I tried their chocolate chip cookie which is gluten free and it was bomb! I am going to keep going back and I want to try the espresso chip cookie and try other coffees :)

"Waterfront cafe with pastries and 90s vibe near the blue-roofed ferry building." Perfect place alone, with someone or a group. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They have variety of drinks not just coffee but also tea, hot cocoa, shakes, smoothies, energy drinks. Sandwiches and bagels also available. On a very cold Sunday afternoon we missed the ferry and had to wait here and enjoyed the Featured coffee for only $3.35.

    ICED Specialty Latte (Snickerdoodle)

A little upset, I must admit. The coffee I ordered was an ICED Specialty Latte. ICED. The nice young lady who took my order even asked me in the beginning by, hot or iced. When my order was ready, she handed it to me, hot. I'm not that type of person to make a big deal about whether it's hot or cold but I will say this is the second time this has happened. Please take the time to read what you put in the system before making the coffee. Customer service is EXCELLENT, just take it easy.

Bacon Turkey Melt. Didn't even toast the bread. Where is the MEAT???!!! Don't do it people

My first order was their Breakfast Bagel sandwich with sausage. It was absolutely delicious. The bagel was toasted perfectly and the eggs were nice and fluffy. The sausages were cooked perfectly too. For my second and third orders, we went with the Smoked Salmon Benedict with baked Roasted Potatoes. The salmon was smoked to perfection, and the poached eggs were prepared just right. The slices of avocado on the buttery English muffins were the compliment to making this Benedict so special. And the hollandaise sauce is so flavorful, I give it a chefs kiss! FOOD: My coffee was not extraordinary. I had a latte. By itself it wasn't anything to write home about. I went with my mom and she said the same thing about her coffee. Next time I'll get a mocha, or something adjacent, and see how I fancy that. I had a croissant hot link sandwich which was good, but I wish I asked for some type of spread to go on it. That would have made the sandwich a 10/10. If I was to be picky, I would wish for the croissant bread itself to be fluffier and flakier, but croissants are difficult (and delicious). I tried my mom's breakfast burrito. The potatoes in it needed more love. It wasn't super, but adequate. The absolute best item that I had during my time at 'The Grind Cafe' was the frozen lemonade!!! It was SHMACK! I mixed flavors -- I believe it was green apple and mango. I would go again simply for the frozen lemonade; a perfect treat for everyone. Overall, I suggest you to go and try 'The Grind Cafe'. It is 1000% worth a visit.

My favorite lunch order is the Chicken Caesar Wrap - perfect ratio of chicken, lettuce, cheese, dressing, and croutons. The wrap is always well constructed and never falls apart mid-consumption. When I moved away from Vallejo, I thought about this wrap often. For dinner, the wings are always a solid choice - korean bbq, bbq, buffalo - all equally good. The wings are a good size, an even mix of drums and flats, the chicken is always moist and the sauce ratio is perfect. Best wings in Solano County. The M.I.B.C. Burger is another favorite, always cooked as requested, the meat is super flavorful and the toppings - cheese, onion, sauce, and arugula fit perfectly between the brioche bun. This is also served with fries - always served the right amount of crisp. For beers, I prefer to drink the War Bond. However, I can vouch for the fact that all of the beer here is good. Also, all of the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Best neighborhood bartenders, best views of the sunset. We are lucky to have this spot in Vallejo.

The onion rings were good too, although I wish they used the same batter as the fish. The food wasn't served quite as hot as I would have preferred, and they were pretty conservative with the condiments. That may be intentional given the location and the likelihood of non-customers helping themselves if everything was left on the tables. I asked whether the beets in the beet salad were freshly roasted or canned, and I was told they were fresh, so I ordered it. It was good, but something wasn't quite as fresh as I expected. It may have been the walnuts--I think they would have benefited from being toasted--or perhaps another ingredient. I'm very particular when it comes to beet salads. I also ordered the crab and artichoke melt, and this was the star of the meal. It was absolutely divine. Rich, buttery crab and melted cheese layered on thinly sliced, perfectly toasted ciabatta--it was pure comfort food. I was surprisingly full after just two bites, partly because the portions are generous and I'd already made a dent in the beet salad. I skipped drinks this visit, but I'll definitely be back to check out the rotating taps and wine selection. The staff were laid-back, incredibly friendly, and genuinely helpful. The setting is one of the restaurant's biggest draws. The outdoor patio offers a beautiful bird's-eye view of the ferries arriving at Mare Island, making it the perfect place to linger over a meal. Inside, there's a large, inviting bar where it's easy to strike up a conversation with another guest, or you can grab one of the window seats and simply enjoy the waterfront views. I'll definitely be back.
