We always enjoy the variety of breakfast dishes and quality of the food. Servers may be sparce, but they do their job very well.

This was supposed to be skirt steak with red potatoes in a skillet. It was hamburger & hashbrowns.

Not what we expected. Their response was in sorry if you didn't like it. I will not be going here again. There is good day lighting inside, comfortable seating, the hamburger helper skillet with hashbrowns and burger was tolerable. Didn't want to send the food back and receive something that would make me sick. I couldn't tolerate the strawberry cream cheese in the cinnamon French toast but luckily it was not my order. I would not recommend as you never know what you're going to get. The server was friendly

Great breakfast spot with plenty of seating and space inside! We ate here for breakfast 2 days in a row. Kids get a free kids breakfast item with purchase of adult entree before 9am. Their original pancakes were a huge hit. We loved their drip coffee and the rest of the menu was pretty standard compared to other places. I do feel like portion sizes are slightly on the smaller side. Service the first day was lacking, as we had to constantly look for our server for additional places, cups, utensils, coffee refills etc. The second day we came was a weekday and there were far fewer guests so the service was much more attentive. Overall solid, family friendly restaurant.

Cinnamon french toast joined the clean plate club. Syrup was served warm! Staff were friendly.

Solid spot that we popped into during a rain delay for lacrosse. Food was alright, good service. The restaurant was pretty big and nice too.

This is the best breakfast spot in Fitchburg, I've only recently discovered it! Both times I've gone in the past month, I've had the Florentine Benedict and the Chocolate Chip Pancakes to share. My friend had the breakfast burrito and another friend had the steak and eggs -- both were delicious! The food is great, the portions are HUGE, I highly recommend the orange juice. The coffee is fine, not great, but got the caffeine in me. The servers are wonderful and I've had great service both times I've visited. You can pay via a QR code/app which I recommend. If you wait to pay up front, you might be waiting, especially at peak times. This place is popping on the weekends, so make sure to be patient.

The Pancake Cafe is a decent and straight forward breakfast place. The food and service are good. It is standard breakfast food, and it is done well. There is nothing that stands out from other breakfast places though, and nothing phenomenal that I will be thinking about days later. It's a good place though. I had a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, the specialty apple pancake, and the wisco hashbrowns. The orange juice was fresh with pulp which I like. The apple pancake was massive, hot, and tasty. I enjoyed it. It's kind of like a cross between a pie and bread pudding. The wisco hashbrowns were good too, but I felt that they needed hot sauce/salsa. Also they were definitely lacking bacon even though the menu said they should have bacon. There is a lot of seating here, so when other places are full for brunch on a Saturday morning, this place might not be. It's a great option for times like that. The service was prompt and pleasant. My friends got the breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla, potato pancakes, bacon pancakes, and corned beef hash. The corned beef hash was standard, my friends really liked the bacon pancakes, and the breakfast quesadilla was good. Neither the quesadilla or the burrito came with salsa or sour cream even though we thought they should have. They were both a bit dry without that. The potato pancakes were not the best. They had no texture and seemed to have a lot of egg in them rather than potato. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. At the end of the day, this place is good for what it is: a standard diner for breakfast food. It is good at the standard breakfast food but it is not innovative or phenomenal in those aspects. Just standard good breakfast food. I'll be back here in the future when I'm looking for a breakfast/brunch place that doesn't have a long wait.

Brunch was delicious, especially the crepes. My only quibble was the salsa didn't taste quite right. Service was attentive and timely.

Possibly the worst meal i've ever had. Do not order the cinnamon french toast. It will kill your vibe. Also, $7.99 for a side of bacon!!

We tried about two months ago on a Sunday and there was quite a line so we tried somewhere else new to us. It was worth the trip back here! Marigold is a really cute place inside. We were between the breakfast and lunch rushes so we easily found a table after ordering. We noticed there was a steady flow of customers and the tables turned over at a decent pace so maybe we should have stood in line last time around. Hard to know sometimes. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado toast and buttermilk pancakes. Service was quick and friendly. The pancakes were fluffy and they looked good. The service was absolutely great, and the restaurant has a lively, charming vibe. It does tend to get busy, so I'd recommend arriving at a reasonable time. I ordered the French toast, which was clearly their own elevated take on the classic. The flavors were good, but the texture was a little different than I expected and threw me off slightly. It felt more like a chic, creative version of French toast rather than the traditional style, which is the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five. Everything else was fantastic, though, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

You have to order at the counter first and then your party gets sat at your designated table. I ordered the blind, which is a chef's choice. You're able to ask if the dish is savory or sweet and that's it. You can ask what the dish is but then the price will go from 10$ to 15$. They do ask if you have any allergies in case they do need to alter the dish. Not gonna disclose what the dish was, but it tasted great! This is a great…read morespace but it's large with high ceilings and metal furniture and I don't know how comfortable it'd be to hole up here and work all day. It can get kind of loud as well. The lavender latte is a good one and worth the struggle to find a parking spot for. The Italian sodas do NOT come with cream so you need to specify that if you'd like a traditional cream soda. The pastries have never appealed to me on the several occasions I've been - they are large and there are some of the old standbys like danish but there's a lot of artificially colored/flavored options as well such as cereal bars. This last visit I ordered the cheesy hash brown bites with chorizo - good, but filling, and just a little too much pickled onion perhaps or maybe it was the chorizo - the main flavor profile was more tart or sour than spice or savory. I also felt the addition of shredded cheese was a bit much - but greatly enjoyed the micro greens to complement flavors. I've had the avocado toast before and enjoyed that. My daughter's açaí bowl was served in a to-go cup and somewhat difficult to mix. The staff has always been friendly when I've been.

Nailed it in the flavor profile, but could have been a tad bit more noticeable. I want a coffee to taste what it's listed as. Not like a Lacroix lime, flavored drink. I.e hint of a flavor. Food 5/5 I got the Berria burrito. Now tell you what.... It took an hour to get this food. My expectations were low! To my surprise, they nailed this burrito. Hashbrown ball was good too.
