This was supposed to be skirt steak with red potatoes in a skillet. It was hamburger & hashbrowns.

Not what we expected. Their response was in sorry if you didn't like it. I will not be going here again. There is good day lighting inside, comfortable seating, the hamburger helper skillet with hashbrowns and burger was tolerable. Didn't want to send the food back and receive something that would make me sick. I couldn't tolerate the strawberry cream cheese in the cinnamon French toast but luckily it was not my order. I would not recommend as you never know what you're going to get. The server was friendly

Great breakfast spot with plenty of seating and space inside! We ate here for breakfast 2 days in a row. Kids get a free kids breakfast item with purchase of adult entree before 9am. Their original pancakes were a huge hit. We loved their drip coffee and the rest of the menu was pretty standard compared to other places. I do feel like portion sizes are slightly on the smaller side. Service the first day was lacking, as we had to constantly look for our server for additional places, cups, utensils, coffee refills etc. The second day we came was a weekday and there were far fewer guests so the service was much more attentive. Overall solid, family friendly restaurant.

Cinnamon french toast joined the clean plate club. Syrup was served warm! Staff were friendly.

Solid spot that we popped into during a rain delay for lacrosse. Food was alright, good service. The restaurant was pretty big and nice too.

This is the best breakfast spot in Fitchburg, I've only recently discovered it! Both times I've gone in the past month, I've had the Florentine Benedict and the Chocolate Chip Pancakes to share. My friend had the breakfast burrito and another friend had the steak and eggs -- both were delicious! The food is great, the portions are HUGE, I highly recommend the orange juice. The coffee is fine, not great, but got the caffeine in me. The servers are wonderful and I've had great service both times I've visited. You can pay via a QR code/app which I recommend. If you wait to pay up front, you might be waiting, especially at peak times. This place is popping on the weekends, so make sure to be patient.

The Pancake Cafe is a decent and straight forward breakfast place. The food and service are good. It is standard breakfast food, and it is done well. There is nothing that stands out from other breakfast places though, and nothing phenomenal that I will be thinking about days later. It's a good place though. I had a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice, the specialty apple pancake, and the wisco hashbrowns. The orange juice was fresh with pulp which I like. The apple pancake was massive, hot, and tasty. I enjoyed it. It's kind of like a cross between a pie and bread pudding. The wisco hashbrowns were good too, but I felt that they needed hot sauce/salsa. Also they were definitely lacking bacon even though the menu said they should have bacon. There is a lot of seating here, so when other places are full for brunch on a Saturday morning, this place might not be. It's a great option for times like that. The service was prompt and pleasant. My friends got the breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla, potato pancakes, bacon pancakes, and corned beef hash. The corned beef hash was standard, my friends really liked the bacon pancakes, and the breakfast quesadilla was good. Neither the quesadilla or the burrito came with salsa or sour cream even though we thought they should have. They were both a bit dry without that. The potato pancakes were not the best. They had no texture and seemed to have a lot of egg in them rather than potato. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. At the end of the day, this place is good for what it is: a standard diner for breakfast food. It is good at the standard breakfast food but it is not innovative or phenomenal in those aspects. Just standard good breakfast food. I'll be back here in the future when I'm looking for a breakfast/brunch place that doesn't have a long wait.

Brunch was delicious, especially the crepes. My only quibble was the salsa didn't taste quite right. Service was attentive and timely.

We arrived around 12:30pm on a Sunday. They close at 1pm. But they were still quite busy. You tell the host at the front the number of people in your party and if you have a preference for counter or table seating. We waited about 10-15 minutes. They have a pretty quick turnaround time. If you're okay with sitting at the counter you'll get served a lot sooner and the food tastes just as good! Our group ordered a crepe, chocolate chip pancakes, Dutch delite (Dutch baby with strawberries and bananas), and coconut pancakes. The total came out to $50 after tax and tip. Service was wonderful! I asked the server to make the Dutch baby without the bananas since I'm allergic. She took it very seriously and asked if I'm allergic to latex as well (probably the type of gloves they wear in the kitchen.) The breakfast arrived with 3-4 different types of syrups! The lemon syrup was great! It tasted like a lemon candy. I really liked my strawberry Dutch baby! They doubled up on the strawberries since I didn't want bananas. The strawberries were very sweet and in season. The portions were big too! Good food. Good service. Very affordable pricing.

We tried about two months ago on a Sunday and there was quite a line so we tried somewhere else new to us. It was worth the trip back here! Marigold is a really cute place inside. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado toast and buttermilk pancakes. Service was quick and friendly. The pancakes were fluffy and they looked good. The atmosphere is fine, but for picky eaters, it's a no go. Nothing against the restaurant, their food is just a little too niche and we're unable to make common substitutes or additions. I just wish the had a kids menu section with 2 items that where super simplified and came in kid friendly utensils etc

It was a bit after 8am on a Friday morning and the place was hopping but we were able to grab a booth. The wait staff was hustling and eventually got to us. The service was very good from that point onward despite the fact that the place was packed by the time we left. The menu is on the back wall or via a QR code (never my favorite). They also have menus on the wall from the 50's which are eyeopening given today's prices. We started with a cherry milkshake that was not only delicious but huge so two of us split it. All three of us opted for their breakfast sandwich which you can build with many different variations - way more than most restaurants. All three versions were tasty.
