I took out break fast on a Sunday morning. I think the wait was atleast 30 minutes at that time. Oreo shake was nice and thick. Elvis pancake had a ton of peanut butter. It was so heavy, atleast 3 people are needed to finish one. Corned beef hash was probably my favorite breakfast item here. Steak scramble with crispy hash brown was good too. Side of fruits was watermelon and other melons.

Chicken Fajita Skillet was surprisingly yummy! I was skeptical about chicken in my breakfast but it was well done with small bits of grilled chicken. Came with a side of salsa and sour cream which both added another layer. This was a great portion and also came with pancakes - what a bonus! The pancakes were nice and fluffy with a great salty whipped butter. Service was attentive even in the midst of a busy Sunday brunch. Will be back to try more of the (large) menu!

The service was poor and the food was average. The malts were exceptional. This was our first visit so will give it another try. We were seated right away and we both immediately ordered vanilla malts. This was a big mistake, not because they weren't the absolute best malted ever, but because each malted was large enough for 2-4 people. Seriously. We had a to-go cup. . They make the malted, serve it in a glass and then give you the container they mixed it in with all the extras. Bless them! I just have to say our waitress was distracted. Ok, not very attentive, maybe ready for her shift to be over? My husband ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with a side of sausage. I ordered the crispy chicken ranch wrap with fries and a side of ranch dressing. Our orders came out and were dumped on the table and the waitress disappeared and never checked in. This would be ok except no side of sausage and no ranch dressing. A ranch wrap without ranch dressing is depressing. I also like to dip my fries in ranch dressing. I couldn't flag the waitress because she was MIA. So less than stellar experience. . When the check was brought we voiced our concerns and noted that we didn't receive the sausage, please cancel from order and bring a box for the wrap. They did include ranch dressing with the left over ranch wrap and comped the malts. I would rather have had excellent service and paid for everything . Yes, we will give this another try as I love diners. Fingers crossed for a better experience.

This 1950s themed diner is pretty okay. Service is attentive and accurate, parking is easy, and the food is what you would expect from a place that looks like this. It's cleaner with higher prices than a more traditional small town diner, and the waitstaff is younger; probably never called anyone "honey." I've stumbled into a few of these new 50s style diners and the accoutrements are identical so that made wonder and I found they were all made by the same company and shipped prefab: https://njmonthly.com/articles/eat-drink/classic-diners-jersey-gems/ I don't know if this one was made by this company or is a very good replica and the waitress wasn't actually clear on what I meant by a "1950's style diner," which makes sense since that was before her grandmother was born. Sigh. Like diners in the 1950s, there's no Impossible burger choice. Stick to the usual diner meals, American breakfast, burgers, meatloaf dinner, and you'll be satisfied.

Ordered delivery from Gus's Diner in Verona recently. Our meals arrived way earlier than promised. We ordered one chicken wrap with a side of coleslaw; and one gyro sandwich with soup as a side. I appreciated options other than fries, which may not get delivered hot. Both sandwiches were fresh and hot. They were very filling (makes for delicious leftovers). The beef vegetable soup was good and the coleslaw was fresh and also a generous portion. Easy to order through Yelp! Great food delivered.

Gus's diner takes you back in time to the 50s, it's walls are brimming with vintage posters and jukeboxes you only wish you could play. My blue cheese burger was one of the better burgers I've had in Verona, and it was a pleasant surprise to have a hearty bowl of chicken noodle soup accompany this dish. Our service was prompt and courteous:) would definitely visit here again.

Great old theme dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast food is good and a hearty amount.

My family loves diners. We dont know why we haven't tried this place sooner. It is quaint and…read morerustic, almost kitchy. But that is the charm of this place. You gotta love the tufted leather 'office' chairs at the tables (on wheels.) Although small, there seems to be a good turnover; we didn't have to wait. Our server was prompt, courteous, and friendly. In true diner fashion, there's a lot to choose from on the menu. We went for the breakfast menu. The French toast was fluffy with a tasty egg coating with hints of cinnamon and sugar. The hashbrowns were the way I like them: crunchy on the outside with soft potato warmth on the inside. And they weren't jazzed up with peppers or onions. Just pure hash. My salmon Benedict had eggs poached with soft white and a perfect runny yolk. Complemented niicely with salmon and creamy avocados. The salmon was a bit overcooked; I was expecting lox, but that's my bad. The jalapeños were too hot for me, I had to remove most of them. Regardless, it was still a satisfying dish. My daughter's banana-Nutella crepe was wonderful. The crepes were made just right, thin but still a bit fluffy, not paper-like or like a tortilla. It was loaded with warm, lightly cooked banana and covered with plenty of Nutella and, of course, whipped cream. I was jealous.of her dish. Overall, we really liked this place for brunch. The food is well prepared do they give you plenty of it. And the staff was friendly and professional. Like MacArthur: I shall return!

My husband wanted to eat out for breakfast on Saturday, so he picked out Copper Top Family…read morerestaurant. He visited it many years ago, in the latter 1980s, soon after they opened, and decided we need to try it out, for him, once again. We were heading out to Black Earth, for shoes. We are tired of the local restaurant, that we have gone to quite often, so I agreed. It was about mid-morning, when we stopped in. It wasn't very busy. The menu had quite a bit of choices, from omelets, skillets and pancakes. When we arrived, there were plenty of tables available, a big bonus, as we didn't have to wait for a table. It is small, but more spacious than the local restaurant we visit. The décor is a bit old fashioned, but who cares, as long as you can sit comfortably. We were given a booth. Unfortunately, the booth we sat had frigid air constantly flowing above us. I wondered if our food will cool down to fast. Our food arrived in fifteen minutes, and was piping hot. I ordered the veggie skillet with a side order of sausage patties, and subbed the American fries, for hashbrowns. My husband ordered the Mexican skillet, and also subbed the American fries, for hash browns, with a side order of corned beef hash. They certainly give you quite a bit of food on your plate. The sauteed veggies had a bit of off taste, due to oil used to cook them. I couldn't decide whether it was old oil, or the remaining oil that they cooked them on. My dish was supposed to include roasted red peppers, but they were definitely not roasted, but sauteed. The roasted red peppers would have definitely upped the notch in my dish. My husband enjoyed his, but told me again, not to order skillets with Chorizo. He isn't a fan. That's on him. I will say, that all the staff were extremely friendly, and the bathrooms were very clean, as well as the restaurant.

I like it here, but cozy coffee shop it is not if that is what you're looking for! This is a great…read morespace but it's large with high ceilings and metal furniture and I don't know how comfortable it'd be to hole up here and work all day. It can get kind of loud as well. The lavender latte is a good one and worth the struggle to find a parking spot for. The Italian sodas do NOT come with cream so you need to specify that if you'd like a traditional cream soda. The pastries have never appealed to me on the several occasions I've been - they are large and there are some of the old standbys like danish but there's a lot of artificially colored/flavored options as well such as cereal bars. This last visit I ordered the cheesy hash brown bites with chorizo - good, but filling, and just a little too much pickled onion perhaps or maybe it was the chorizo - the main flavor profile was more tart or sour than spice or savory. I also felt the addition of shredded cheese was a bit much - but greatly enjoyed the micro greens to complement flavors. I've had the avocado toast before and enjoyed that. My daughter's açaí bowl was served in a to-go cup and somewhat difficult to mix. The staff has always been friendly when I've been.

Service- 2/5 Slow. Had to go up and ask for my food. Coffee came first, finished before food arrived. Drink 4/5 Good! Not overly hot, has flavor. Nailed it in the flavor profile, but could have been a tad bit more noticeable. I want a coffee to taste what it's listed as. Not like a Lacroix lime, flavored drink. I.e hint of a flavor. Food 5/5 I got the Berria burrito. Now tell you what.... It took an hour to get this food. My expectations were low! To my surprise, they nailed this burrito. Hashbrown ball was good too. This may have saved my overall score.
