I loved this place. I haven't been here in a while. But nothing has changed. It's still a great place to come eat breakfast. I got the breakfast sampler and everything was bomb! They even gave me a hearty portion of hashbrown. The two pancakes were super fluffy and yummers. The Pico de Gallo scored big points with me. If you want to go somewhere that has good breakfast at a good price, you gotta come here. Coffee was always warm! Non of this 6 am coffee they are still serving at noon. Worst place I've tried for breakfast. Had been craving pancakes so I assumed this would be a good place hence the name. Ordered banana pancakes. Dry and overcooked. Bananas were placed between the pancakes mushy and hot as if they warmed it up in the microwave rather than freshly placed on top as shown on menu images. When I asked the waiter to take my plate she asked if there was something wrong with it, once I mentioned she replied with attitude and I still was charged full price when I hardly touched the plate. A diner setting. Casual. Fast Service. Yes there is parking. The place has a lot of tables some what spacious. Simple and clean. Just myself and my 2yr old. We ordered a French Toast Combo, Hawaiin Waffle, Orange Juice, and Coffee. The orange juice looked fresh or maybe it just had pulp. Regular sweet orange juice. The French Toast was soft but not sweet, and it had powdered sugar. The french toast could have been more moist or the bread could have been a little old. The french toast was missing something, has the potential to be good lol. I had to put syrup on my french toast to make it sweet, which I normally do not. The waffle was good soft, crunchy, and buttery. The coffee was very bitter did not have a hint of good taste/flavor, even after I added cream and sugar. Conclusion, I would like to come back to this place and try something else. I think this place might shine better with their Mexican plates. The food we tried today was not the best nor the worst. Good waffle, almost good french toast. Great friendly service. For reference I enjoy french toast at Heritage Family Pantry and Jims Burger. read more

Decent place , small but the food is great. Only downfall is the restroom !!!!!!! There was an older man maybe in his 50s, sitting at the bar side. (excuse my expression. But very disgusting looking. He gave me a creepy look the moment I walked to the restroom. Stared from head to toe while I was waiting outside for my kids to finish using thebrestroom) once they were done, I went inside and the moment I stepped foot, a minute later someone was knocking, trying to open the door. At first I thought it was someone who didn't know the restroom was occupied. Then 30 seconds later they grabbed the door knob tried to open it again by pulling it. When I walked out, THAT SAME MAN looked at me and went inside the restroom. My thing is .. if he SAW I went in, why did he do that for???? Did he expect the door to be open??? Or what was he trying to do??? He clearly saw my kids were in line , and he saw I went in after .. he could've waited or gotten in line as well. Why try to pull the door roughly trying to open it???? Was NOT safe at all. God forbid it would've been a small child alone. They should really look into that, maybe making a separate restroom for men. Ohhh and to top it off the toilet was peed all around ‍ But other than that , the food was great and service was great too. Another downfall is the parking space, but ehh. Pretty disappointed with my experience. I went a few days ago and now understand why they have such a low rating. They have a small parking lot. We were seated upon entry and the waitress did not acknowledge us for about 10 minutes. I got a water and my grandma ordered a coffee. They have jug that holds the water, and I was pretty grossed out when the waitress put a dirty towel on the nozzle to clean tables after she gave me my water from the same jug. I've been here a couple of times for breakfast. It is a mom's and pop's little dinner. Family owned and they have a clientele that has been coming to for many years. Funny how once can get the vive that one is having a meal in a dinner off the road/HWY. I have tried their Chilaquiles which are quite spicy, I like! pair it with over-medium eggs and now that's a breakfast of champs! Their french toast is prrrreety good too! My sister loves this place for their blueberry pancakes, which I have tried and its good! My mom usually orders their Menudo and I can only guess that she likes it since she orders it time after time. The waitress/waiter is always very prompt at refilling my coffee cup, which is basically my number one demand when eating breakfast out. I always save my pancakes for last. I've made banana pancakes before and let me tell you, these ones here were way way better than mine! I ran across this little hole in the wall diner today and was pleasantly surprised . Best way to describe this is a Mexican style Denny's.. the menu consisted of pancakes ( of course ) breakfast items such as eggs , toast but also non breakfast items as burgers .. since it's called Pancake Corner I decided to try the pancakes . I asked the waitress ( Linda) what pancakes she would recommend for a guy with a sweet tooth . She recommended Chocolate chip .. The outdoor seating was pleasant and it was a nice sunny day so even better . The tables were clean and under umbrellas and socially distanced and the staff wear masks .. The chocolate chip pancakes came out soft and very warm and tasted good . Next time I will try the omelet..and maybe the banana pancake .. I would definitely give this family owned place a try especially if you are a local .. oh and the prices are cheaper than Denny's read more

This was the first time trying this place and it's really good! The only thing I didn't like was the coffee.. I'm a big coffee fan and I didn't like it but everything else was really good! The waiter was very nice and always asked if everything was okay etc. I got a chilaquiles plate with frijoles and rice and my little sister got a kids menu plate and she wanted waffles they even put a cute heart on it.
