Absolutely disgusting! I walked in and saw two tables of patrons. Next, I noticed three workers behind the counter. So, why was the counter, the glass and the prep area filthy? The young woman that spoke to me was not a greeter. I smiled at her, she didn't return the nicety. In fact, she was miserable. She did not say, "hi", or "welcome". Just grunted, "Picking up?" I wasn't. I was going to order takeout, but wound up leaving. I came in the front door and left by the side door. Their assembly line of ingredients was a mess! Everything was spilling from one container to the next. The other two employees just stood and stared. One was eating a huge burrito, using two hands to hold it, while he stood directly behind the counter above the prep area and over food! It was absolutely deplorable. One empty container was full of greasy water. Good luck not getting food poisoning there! To top off my experience, I almost stepped on a used baby diaper that was left in the parking lot. This is by far the worst Pancheros location I have been to. I usually go to the one in Voorhees, which compared to this one seems like a completely different restaurant. The quality of the food at this one is shitty. I found a frickin hair in my burrito. Majority of the lettuce was brown and they still put it in my burrito!! They only put a few pieces in because the lady hesitated for a moment and only put a tiny bit because she noticed it was brown. It also had a weird smell in this restaurant. I've never had a bad Pancheros experience before, but this location should close its doors and call it a night forever. read more

Pancheros serves up fresh and tasty made-to-order burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads. But here's the best part...they make their own fresh tortillas right before your eyes and they are so good! Very very gross, couldn't even eat my food. Go to chipotle lol got a bowl and queso the queso was good but everything else was nasty

Watched a worker go from sweeping the floor right to the food prep area, no gloves, no washing. Walked out never to return.

The food was bomb as usual, but the service was not good at all. I ordered online and my pickup time was 6:15 (3/20/22). When I got there at 6:15 my order was not ready yet because they were waiting on my cheese quesadilla, something super simple. The store was not busy at all and there was a point where I was waiting for my food and watching the employees cook absolutely nothing. The cashier knew I was waiting on my food and said nothing to the cooks. She needs to be taught how to actually speak up to help the customers instead of standing there waiting for everyone else. The woman preparing the burritos was also very slow. As someone who had worked at McDonald's for about a year I understand work can get busy, but there was no communication between the cashier and everyone else. It's unacceptable. I will be going to the Berlin one instead from now on due to their better customer service. read more

When Arby's closed their location on Delsea Drive just off Rowan University's campus, I will admit I was a little sad. If they had told me that Pancheros Mexican Grill would take the building and turn it into a burrito nirvana then I would have helped push them out the door. Sure enough - that is what happened - and I was able to stop by opening week. Thankfully, I was an hour early for the $1 burrito grand opening special because I don't do so well in chaos like that. However, I did benefit from plenty of smiling staff and extra management on duty to make sure preparations were going smoothly. The remodel of the former Arby's space looks great and was full of eager college students hoping for some Mexican that is a little more substantial than the Taco Bell across the street. A mix of seating types, colors, and music gave the space a hip type of feel. Of course, Pancheros closed off the drive thru area as walk-in is all that is available. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken and everything was tasty. I feel like the hot salsa could be a little hotter, but it still tasted good. I was a little disappointed in the chips and queso - the queso was the consistency of drywall spackle and my chips were crushed to more like nacho crumbs, but I am willing to see whether that is standard on my next visit. Came in 15-20 min after placing my order, very few people here, employees not working on any orders. All 3 people working are extremely high to the point they can barley function. They are making peoples order who just got here instead of mine, and when I asked about it the cashier had an extremely bad attitude. If you can't manage to work high, don't smoke halfway through your shift. Chipotle is right across the street, it's always busier but there's a reason for that. read more

Pancheros is our favorite place to eat. They are so nice especially at this location. The food is always fresh, the flavoring is always spot,on, fresh pressed tortillas, and I always leave satisfied. Only once, in my years of going to Pancheros now, did I have something wrong with my order- and they fixed it right away. Chipotle just opened across the street from this location so we decided to give them a try- it was awful. Especially compared to Pancheros. In fact , we didn't even finish our food from Chipotle and went to Pancheros instead. We love Pancheros!!!! read more

Very similar, but definitely better than Chipotle. If you are planning on going to Chipotle, go here instead. I ordered a chicken burrito. The tortilla was freshly pressed and warm. Even better than the freshly made tortilla is that before they wrap it up, they mix all of the ingredients together. This makes it so you never get a bite full of just sour cream, or just meat, or just bean. Each bite of your burrito will be just what you want it to be. That being said. I am comparing this place to Chipotle, and in that comparison, it is miles ahead of the game. It isn't going to be the best burrito you've ever tasted. The tortilla was much better than Chipotle, but again, not the best. Well worth it for what it is, and I hope it replaces all Chipotles. read more

If I could figure out how to give this place no stars as a rating I would. Cinco de Mayo and they aren't ready for an abundance of take out orders. Waited over two hours from the promised time and got nothing. Actually not true. Got tons of attitude from the slacker counter boy. He could not care less that like 20 people were waiting for their orders HOURS. Manager went and hid, useless except to provide an object lesson on how not to run a restaurant. To damn bad since the food is actually good. But I'm done, never again. You can be understaffed and behind, that's understandable. But to just ignore the customers and provide no info on the wait times or reasons is unforgivable. Also saw a couple employees inside working without masks. Ended up going to Checkers and got food in 5 minutes flat. So reading the response from the Corporate Office, did you get the part about NEVER GETTING THE FOOD???? Two plus hours and nothing but you apologize if you didn't live up to YOUR standards? How about anybody's normal standards? Like buy food and receive food. Working to fix the issue, how may I ask? By teaching the workers to complete the food service circle of life and actually getting the customers their correct orders in a timely manner? Maybe that should be lesson one when you hire employees. We spent $70 on a deliver order for dinner. We were missing 2 items that we ordered. The food that was received was very poor quality. I called the restaurant and they offered me a $10 store credit. The only thing that I wanted was the food that I ordered and paid for and they refused to deliver it. I will be ordering Taco Bell instead as the quality is better than Pancheros. read more

Chipotle over Panch Pancheros is an over seasoned, over cooked, over prices knock off chipotle. The rice was extremely salty and the chicken was extremely dry when I ordered a burrito. In my opinion I would much rather have chipotle as there is a better balance of flavors and for $7.50 at chipotle you can get so much more food. The best thing about pancheros is the fresh tortilla. If you could take the pancheros tortilla and fill it with chipotle fixings, we would have world peace. read more

I ordered a burrito with carnitas today. It was pretty good, although I prefer Chipotle just a little bit more because of the quality of their proteins. The carnitas at Panchero's had a slightly stringy, dry texture. That said, Panchero's was by no means bad in comparison. I chalk it up to preference. The Panchero's price, however, certainly didn't hurt my feelings. I would have easily paid $15 for the same burrito at Chipotle. At Panchero's, I paid less than $10 and I ordered extra guacamole! There is one thing that this place has on Chipotle: the tortillas. They are so good. They have a slightly chewy texture and, despite being paper thin, the tortilla held up very well; none of the toppings pooped out of the corners and creases. The service was pretty decent too. Everybody was on the ball, and they were all pleasant. I prefer Chipotle slightly more, but I would visit this joint again. read more

So excited they opened up a Pancheros close to where I live! Pancheros is one of the best Tex-Mex type places you can go.. WAY better than Chipotle in my opinion. Their fresh-pressed tortillas are the best! Everything is delicious: their tacos, burritos, guac, salsas. The new location in Glassboro seems to be very popular. There was a decent wait in line when we got there at about 7 on a week day. For anyone saying they are doing a poor job, give them a break, it just opened and all the new employees are probably just getting into the swing of things. I will say, my husband went one day and they ran out of guacamole... I hope this was just a new-to-business mishap as well! There will be many lunch trips taken here. read more

Pancheros is probably the best Tex-Mex "fast food" chain. They mix in everything together so you're not getting JUST a bite of rice, or meat, or toppings - it's all blended in perfectly. The cup lids are cheap as shit, though. I grab one and it rips like paper, so at least 2 or 3 are wasted before I get one unscathed. read more

Underwhelmed would be the operative word to describe how I felt after trying the new Panchero's in town. As Jason M previously reviewed, I'm a big fan of Chipotle so I naturally lined the two products up and came to these conclusions. Quality- Panchero's meat is not as fresh or soft as Chipotle's. I could taste the difference right away. The other ingredients where okay but certainly not better than what you get at Chipotle. The chips (blue corn is cool...i guess) tasted store bought and not fresh at all. Quantity- I usually get a bowl so that I maximize the amount of food I get and I'd say Panchero's does a good enough job here. Although I felt that I got skimped on my guac it is only $1 extra compared to the $2.60 at Chipotle. Which leads in to... Value- A steak bowl with guac and extra steak, a bag of chips, and a small drink ran me $12. Which when I think about it is a little less than what I'd pay for the same thing at Chipotle, but for the quality you get at Chipotle it's worth the extra couple bucks. So until Rowan Boulevard gets the hint that Rowan Students want Chipotle, I'll be driving to Deptford or Sicklerville to enjoy my steak bowl with extra steak, and let everyone else figure out the shadow of a Chipotle that is Panchero's. read more

I'm a bit surprised, this restaurant is new, and I was thinking they'd try and make a good first impression. My wife's and my burrito were cold - stone cold. The dining area was clean, but uninviting. The music was very loud, so much so that conversation was difficult. Two Burritos with no sides and no drinks costed $18.00 There are 3 other Mexican restaurants in the area, all of them are better. In comparison, the Pancheros in Voorhees is very good. read more

My fiancé and I went inside to order take out and we both got bowls. The server literally put a teaspoon of each ingredient in our bowls. The chicken was hard and disgusting. I don't want to be rude and understand what's going on with COVID but this is ridiculous if I'm paying for something I should get what it's worth not tiny scoops. Honestly love every Pancheros location and really gave this Pancheros multiple opportunities to fill simple needs. If I could give this location negative stars I would. Absolute awful staff who is just straight out rude. I ordered a simple chicken & cheese quesadilla and got an order of chips with queso on the side. The queso is usually the best part but almost every time this locations queso tastes like water. I asked for a tray for my meal and the cashier said "mhm" and then looked at me and rung up the person behind me with all my food sitting in front of the person and me sitting there awkwardly already paid. She then just handed me the tray very rudely not even placing my food or anything on it. Then I ask for a water cup because I was already paying over 10$ for a simple chicken quesadilla and some chips which is also ridiculous and she rudely and loudly says "yeah but you better just make sure your getting water." I honestly looked at her all confused on why she was acting all rude. As I came in multiple times a week I will now definitely NEVER be back in this location ever again. Wish there could just be a staff there that could actually perform simple tasks and actually cook the food and queso atleast average to the point to satisfy its customers. I am sad to report this is not a happy comment. I've a visited this new location a few times now and each time I leave disappointed in the service but the food has not suffered, until today. I am understanding and patient in nature, so it's rare I feel raged enough to walk out of a place of business due to lacking standards. Today's employees were completely unacceptable. No one wanted to be there. They all were rude to each other, talking about whatever drama, and one was figuring out how to leave early. Everyone has their bad days, but when it affects the ability to do your job, you either go home or push through until an appropriate time to deal with it. Today, these employees did not properly communicate nor focus on their tasks at hand thus the level of food deteriorated. The entire reason to visit this business is to obtain a higher quality meal than somewhere else but I have no issue refraining from returning to this location if I continue to experience such lack of standards- quality, food, and service. I encourage these issues be remedied and I will gladly look forward to future visits. We were intrigued when we saw that the former Arbys location finally got a tenant. I never heard of Pancheros, and my curiousity was peaked. Well, we had the chance to eat here today around 4:30. Must have gotten in just before the dinner rush because people came pouring in after us. What a refreshing change from the typical fast-food fare. Everything is prepared fresh right in front of you. Purchased 2 chicken burritos to go and we weren't dissapointed. Watched them press & grill the tortilla then quickly add the ingredients to build an incredibly tasting burrito. Good sized portions, the only complaint is that I bit into a small piece of grisle, otherwise delicious. We will be back to try more, and to see if they can keep up the standards. read more

I didn't know Pancheros sold soup bowls and burritos. Most disgusting bowl and burrito experience ever. I've consistently have had bad meals here, this will be my last time at this location! The employee didn't drain the rice or beans before putting them into my bowl or my boyfriends burrito. The bowl was literally soup, so I told the manager that was ringing me up that it looks really wet and gross. Instead of making a new one, he held the food in the bowl, tilted it, and tried to drain the rice water and black bean water out. It was disgusting! Then, as my boyfriends burrito is being made the same thing happened!! The employee was squeezing out the excess rice and bean water before closing the wrap up causing the wrap to become so soggy he couldn't even hold the burrito to eat it. It completely fell apart and leaked water. We again said that is absolutely gross and I asked my boyfriend if he wants to leave. The manager said "trust me it will taste good", he didn't even offer to remake either orders! They make fresh tortillas. I would say that is the only good thing. The rest of the food is rather bland. It could be way better.

I was ordering food today and a man that had already been there shoved in front of me to yell at the person at the register. This man was very angry and said that they forgot his chips and the woman at the register respectfully said " I am so sorry sir I will get you another bag of chips and an extra chips and queso" instead of the man saying thank you he yelled even more even though the cashier was respectfully handling the situation. I am not mad that the man pushed in front of me but I am mad by the way he reacted towards pancheros employees. My food was wonderful and the employees were very nice. My family decided to order take out from this place because it was close to home and opened not to long ago. When I walked in the set up was just like Chipotle or Moe's. I ordered 2 steak burritos and 1 kid's taco. I also ordered chips and queso because they do not come included with your meal. Everything added up to about $30, which for the amount of food they gave you I think is a rip off. I also didn't order any drinks. I brought all of my stuff home (only a 4 minute drive). When I got home and started eating the burrito I found that it was cold like the meat wasn't on a heater. My wife noticed the same thing. The steak was also very tough and bland. The size was also smaller then you would get at Moe's or Chipotle. The size of the bag of chips and the size of the queso they gave you was very small. The chips were good. The queso was watery when you put it on a plate and thrn within minutes it would congeal and was very salty. I would recommend you go somewhere else to get the most for your money. My family and I went to Pancheros Friday night. The set up is similar to Chipotle but they have less options. I ordered veggie tacos, my husband a burrito and my daughter a chicken quesadilla. I usually have the hard shell tacos but I guess they don't have them there but it was still good, my husband didn't really care for his burrito, and my daughter enjoyed her quesadilla. I had such high hopes but disappointed, being a huge fan of chipotle I was eager to try this new burrito restaurant. I was disappointed in the quality of meat they put in their burrito( my wife had to spit out several bites because of fat and grizzle) they also made our burritos and broke both mine and my wife's burrito.
