100% recommend this restaurant in Mazatlan! Pancho's by the sea offers a nice view of the city's beach front shore. Great selection of breakfast items. They started us out with large cups of smooth coffee and breakfast pastries for the table. The environment was splendid and the staff was very attentive. And there are a bunch of great shops to look around in while you wait. It is a busy place.

Panchos is definitely the move if your in the golden zone in Mazaltan. This place gets very busy it's right on the beach. We sat out side on the patio and it's so nice to hang out have few drinks and really good food. The service is good as well everyone was nice to us. The food was very good very delicious. Also if you ask they will bring you a spicy salsa and it's very good. I definitely recommend this place if your visiting Mazaltan.

Panchos was also on my list, so I arrived here for dinner and was immediately confronted with an annoying obstacle. The small cramped beachside dining location is divided into seating beachside or inside. The former space, the prize for any diner, was packed with retired American couples, who were hogging tables, conversing loudly and were indulgent in serious drinking. I was willing to wait. After over 40 minutes, and noting that i was being passed over, I told them I was going somewhere else and guess what? A table instantly materialized. It's all about economics and sales. All the tables were being filled up with 4-6 people, definitely a more profitable magnet for the management. While I waited for my food to arrive (which also took over 30 minutes), I was surprised to note that the American crowd was mostly ordering Italian pastas, sandwiches, hamburgers and the like. Why would you come to a Mexican restaurant for that? I have seen this happen in almost every eatery I have been to in Mazatlan. Anyway, I should not forget to mention that the ocean vistas from my table were hypnotizing. I knew it would be worth the wait. For food, I ordered from the Specials section of the menu and chose the Crusty Party. It consisted of a small grilled lobster, 2 ponchos shrimps (bacon wrapped with cheese) and two garlic shrimps, rice sautéed mixed vegetables and two bread rolls (which I did not touch). The lobster was prepared optimally to be succulent, fresh and flavorful. The ponchos shrimps were big, plump and filling. The small garlic shrimp were almost cold, lacked taste and a disappointment. The mixed vegetables were superb. Not overcooked, nice and crunchy. Service was not up to par but then, they were going for the bigger American groups. More people means more dinero. Overall, it was worth the hassle. It must be noted that the inside decor of the restaurant is unique. It is filled with numerous stunning examples that showcase Mexican workmanship in pottery and other colorful artifacts (see my pictures). A truly memorable experience. And most importantly, they cooked my lobster in perfect fashion.

Charming place in the Gold Zone, right on the beach. Very good food (we split a queso fundido) and thought we were ordering light with a shrimp salad stuffed avocado. Lots of food! Great Cadillacs and really superb service topped off with an apple infused sweet tequila after-dinner shot (very mellow and delightful)! Heartily recommended!

My friends and I came here on our first night in Mazatlan since it was near our hotel and it was the best decision! We didn't have any reservations but got seated right away on the outside patio, with the view of the beach (though it was dark since we came at night). Regardless, the staff were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the steak and it was so tender and juicy, and the sauce was amazing. I also ordered a pina colada and the portion sizes here were huge and the drink was very tasty. It was with complimentary chips and salsa which I appreciated, but the main course came relatively quickly after placing our orders. At the end of the meal, we got complimentary iced kahlua shots which was also really nice. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

Quick service, fun staff and atmosphere. Nice view. The fish ceviche was delicious and fresh. The chips are fresh cooked and yummy!! We are on a cruise and had this recommended to us by passengers who have been here before, happy we went!

Love Miguel & Daniel, they definitely showed us a real experience here, and so the rest of the staffs. They were reluctant to see us with my service dog, but as it went by, people warmed up! We came 3 times for dinners! Fantastic Spiny Lobster, a local delicacy, not cheap, but all worth it! They split half and grilled it! Love their fresh guacamole, chip and salsa. The best margarita I have tried here the last 8 days! GIGANTIC portion about $160 pesos (before tips), my hubby and I were tipsy by the second one :-) Fresh fish, sea bass ceviche, and coconut shrimp were all fantastic dishes! Gorgeous view, and live music nightly! 3 minutes walk from Courtyard Marriott 5 stars resort!

I started with Robert's Margarita, a delicious and colorful take on the drink. One of the house specialties is the Chicken Marsala, which I accompanied with pureed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Naan is also good. Simply fantastic flavors in everything. The dessert was phenomenal. A dark chocolate brownie with a caramel sauce and topped with hazelnut ice cream. Again, the combination of textures and flavors will guarantee a clean plate. Agatha's reminds me of some of the better places in Palm Springs, CA. Their cuisine truly sets them apart from restaurants anywhere.

Also the warm beet (betabel) salad with goat cheese and pistachios - fabulous! I don't remember it being warm before, but it was great. The only disappointment was the Camarones Crunchy, which was small chewy shrimp, not crunchy at all, on top of a creamy base. We told the server we had been brought the wrong dish, as the shrimp weren't crunchy. She said, no, that's the dish. A manager came over and said that yes, that was the crunchy shrimp dish. Unbelievable. They did finally take the dish off the bill, but we were disappointed that we didn't get a good shrimp dish. The Robert's Margarita was excellent as usual.
