Classic that needs an extra TLC. Service and atmosphere: Outstanding service. Very friendly and helpful staff - five stars. The restaurant still has its charm but may need a bit of refresh in my opinion. This buffet was famous for raising a flag at the table to have service members to get you more food from the buffet area. Food: The food was okay. The buffet offers typical Mexican food options. A bit more variety would be a bonus. Pricing: $

First Pancho's I've seen since the 80s. Very exciting!!!

I love Pancho's. I haven't been to one since I was a kid in the 80s. I found this one outside of Houston on my way to visit my kids and it is great! Food was hot & delicious. Service was good.

I was on the north side of town and decided to stop at Pancho's because of nostalgia. The picadillo, chile soup and crunchy tacos were my favs. Everything else tasted the same. They also bought out our sopapillas 5 minutes after we sat down so they weren't warm when we were ready to dig in. Overall I'm happy I tried it again 30 years later but I'll probably never return.

My husband grew up on Panchos and really missed it so while traveling to Galveston we had to stop in for lunch . He said it was just as he remembered.

I used to go to Panchos as a kid, and unfortunately it's lost all authenticity. The service was about the only good thing about this restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant was bland and boring. I expected more be so close to the holiday of Día de los muertos. The food itself was bland and very Americanized and lacks all flavor.

Wow. Food was good! All you can eat. Tamales, enchiladas, tacos and so much more. Soups and nachos, and chips and salsa. Go, go, go. And the dessert bar and sopapillas. Yes please. Raise the flag and the service is there instantly! Can't wait to go back!

It's really kind of sad because I remember poncho's Mexican buffet being very common in the greater Houston area in the 80s and 90s. The service was excellent. Everybody that we came across was very welcoming and accommodating. There were quite a few people there and it seems like a place that you would go to if you want to feed a bunch of little ones or you have more than two or three in your party. Unfortunately, I didn't really think the food was that great. The only thing that I found halfway decent was the tamales in terms of flavor. Well, the Mexican rice was good, but it's extremely dry. The sopaipillas seemed like they were made from tortillas. We went for a drive here since this location is all the way in Humble. It's okay.

I'm impressed!!! We've been to several Pancho's that have been shut down and all seemed very ran down. This location is clean, food was good and staff is very friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating too and the decor is very colorful and upbeat. As items ran out the staff was very quick to fill it.

The Order Status for food I NEVER PICK UP BUT WAS CHARGED FOR!!!

The manager was extremely unprofessional and out right rude. I placed a large order for which I had an Order Number and a credit card transaction. He reported he had no order, despite me showing him the multiple messages related to the order, including a message stating order received, confirmed and ready for pick up. Now have a message stating order complete, even though I never picked up anything or got any food. It was the Grande Pack and several other items for my staff. I called the CC company on speaker phone, and they verified the transaction was processed. He then walked away and would not speak to me anymore. I left with no food and filed a dispute for the charge. Yet, my account shows the order as picked up. He says they have no way to verify of check for an order in their own system.

We love their menudo on the weekends. It's got the perfect aromatics and not greasy. Im a big fan of chicharron and lengua tacos. Other friend had cheese Chile relleno... she loved it. Hubby had taco, cheese enchilada, and tamale that were the best. The sauces, the queso and homemade chips were warm and oh so good. Homemade corn tortillas and flour tortillas will make us fly back from Phoenix to indulge in often! Thank you so much for making this experience the best of our trip... my goodness Thank you! About five minutes before we passed Sabino's, I opened the app and saw the reviews. Great timing! We entered, and there was a customer standing in the front. We asked her if Sabino's was good and she began to rave about their food! She was right! Firstly, the service was extraordinary. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. We ordered mixed fajitas for two. Yummy! Hot, seasoned well, and the tortillas...amazing. The guacamole was SO GOOD, I thought about ordering some to take home, but we live two hours away. As we were checking out the owner told us know that your always at home here. That's what we felt like during our visit. We will definitely be back and I'm very picky on food so that's a big statement. I highly recommend if you are in the mood for some good food you try this place out. We ordered pupusas, barbacoa, and a burrito. The pupusas were AMAZING (we got the kids' one), and they came with rice and beans that were also really good. The barbacoa came with two tortillas and was flavorful without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I'm not a fan of sweet barbacoa. My mom had the burrito and felt it could've had more flavor, but overall the food was still solid. The staff was super friendly, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and it was a comfortable spot to grab lunch. Definitely a great place to stop if you're hungry and want a satisfying, casual meal. The pupusa is one of the largest I have gotten, and the consistency and flavor were exactly the way I remember them from my time in El Salvador; authentic and delicious. Cost was $20 total, but would easily have fed two, and I have enough leftover for lunch, tomorrow, so a good value, for good food! Don't miss this spot; they have juices, and bottled and canned drinks, too. Will surely be back to enjoy more good food from their menu!
