Fried rice, egg drop soup, chicken with green beans, hunan chicken, and an order of lo mein noodles. The food was good, and abundant. The Hunan chicken was not as hot as I hoped, and sweeter than I would have preferred; it was more like sweet-and-sour than Hunan. Otherwise, a very positive experience. We were only customers tonight. Ordered moo shu shrimp. Came out a soupy, wet, brown, salty, slimy pile overcooked vegetables that had been sitting around in sauce for god knows how long. Hey Y'all...today I discovered a TRUE GEM and AWESOME CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I ordered something simple for fear of being disappointed yet again, but challenging enough to be a mess up.....to avoid any further delay I ordered the PEPPER STEAK and WHEW CHILE it was EVERYTHING. The MEAT, The SAUCE..only setback would be to ask light on onions and peppers or to ask for them to be cut smaller...in which I can tell from our first encounter today that this wouldn't be a problem. The young lady that took my order, prepared my order, and brought it out to my car was very genuinely nice even though my credit car flew from my hands onto the payment. I almost killed her with my door, because we both tried to retrieve it. ANOTHER THING this business/SHE isn't playing about COVID-19 and cleansing. SIGNS are posted on the door saying order from the car and food will be brought....and while I was there, this dude obviously CANT READ...she called out and helped him exit the restaurant immediately...NO PASS NO PASS, my little eyes lit up with glee, that a restaurant was really paying attention to their health and ours. read more

Panda Cafe has hands down the best Chinese food in Manassas and I promise, I have been everywhere. They still aren't dining in but that's ok; who actually eats at Chinese restaurants anymore? Whether I am picking up or ordering delivery, their customer service is so awesome. They are just the sweetest and the food is always so hot which is amazing. I prefer to call and order and when I call, they always tell me exactly how long it will be and they deliver piping hot takeout which is exactly what you want. I always order fried dumplings, egg rolls, crispy beef, crab Rangoon, chicken lo mein, and sesame chicken. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it is soooooo worth it. Chinese is one of my daughter's favorites new takeout requests because the lo mein is so good. I feel like sometimes Chinese can be weirdly mushy or sometimes gelatinous, and I have never had that experience at Panda Cafe. My quest continues for good chinese. Seeing that this place has good reviews, I gave it a whirl. I ordered a wonton soup with shrimp mei fun. The food came rather quick, so that was a plus. I then had the soup first. The soup was actually really good! As were the crispy noodles that came with it and it has some pork strips that actually enhance the quality. I was really happy to have gotten this! I then made my way to the mei fun. The portion was big! The noodles were nice texture and there was plenty of shrimp. The vegetables were great and I really was pleased with everything. One problem was that its a bit greasy and that it took away from the experience, but definitely came away feeling good about this one. I'll try a combination Kung Pao chicken next time (I don't like peanuts in Kung Pao, but I'll order it nonetheless). Glad to discover another good Chinese take-out in my area. We ordered shredded beef, house special lomein, house special fried rice, hot and sour soup, and beef/chicken eggrolls. I like how their lomein is made slightly chewier than other places (just how i like it) and the noodles is also slightly thicker too, flavor was great. My husband enjoyed the hot and sour soup very much (we've had been disappointed with soups at other takeouts recently). Soup had a good amount of tangy and spicy balance. The chicken and beef eggrolls were nice and crispy and not soggy. Though I expected the shredded beef to be crispy like how it is at most restaurants I've ordered from, theirs is still very tasty. Really nice restaurant. The people that work here are very kind. The restaurant is super clean. The food is very good. I had sweet n sour chicken and the chicken was fried to perfection. They fried our dumplings all the way instead of panfried and we loved them. Their Wonton Soup was delicious. I just wish the rice was better but besides that I really enjoyed the food. I'm super picky when it comes to take-out Chinese places. A lot of times I don't like it because the meat tastes cheap/fake and the veggies aren't fresh. I can 100% say that is not the case with this place! You get that same take-out Americanized Chinese food flavor, but everything tastes so fresh! No Taste Precious and I haven't had Chinese food in a very long time. There was a place we liked, but we read on the health inspection report several critical findings. Yikes! We've tried some other places, but we just haven't found anything decent. Last weekend Precious suggested that we check out this place. It's right next to Giant so Precious went in to pick up the food, and I told Precious I wanted to go into Giant to check my blood pressure. They have one of those machines in there. When I came out, Precious had already picked up the food and was waiting. I opened the car door and took a big long sniff expecting to smell that awesome smell that is partially responsible for the expanding waistlines of Americans. But I didn't smell anything. Nothing at all. It had no smell. When we got back home, we found out it had no taste either. Precious had Kung Pao chicken and I had chicken with cashew nuts. I ate some of mine and then threw the rest away. The portion sizes are huge here. You won't leave hungry. That is if you eat it. So I took a taste of Precious' dish. It had no taste. There was a pepper in there, and I could taste just a little bit of heat from that, but it otherwise was tasteless. Chinese food is a matter of taste. You might not like what I like. I might not like what you like. You like breast meat. I like thigh meet. You say "Potato". Dan Quail says "Potatoe". But this was the worst Chinese food I've had in a long long time. read more

Fiancé and I decided to give this new place a try last night. We ordered via phone, and it was delivered in a reasonable time frame. The crab Rangoon is very crispy and yummy! General tso's chicken was great too. The wonton and egg drop soups are standard, but still yummy. The egg fou young was a little odd and bland. Oh, and their regular egg rolls are pretty good too. Ordered General Tso's and chicken with broccoli through Uber eats...food was cold...the general tso's order was mainly breading...out of 16 pieces of "chicken" only 3 contained actual chicken (maybe 30% of those pieces were actual chicken) the rest were 100% and breading...chicken and broccoli order was similar, mainly broccoli and 6 slivers of chicken.
