The worker packed my bowl with lots of noodles and rice. I am very disappointed in the amount of chicken I got in my 'String Bean Chicken Breast' bowl. It was very sad because it seemed like so little chicken in comparison to the large amount of string beans I got. This review is for the Panda Express location in uptown Pearlridge food court. After we were done at the Satellite City Hall upstairs, we went downstairs to pick up some dinner. It was about 2:30PM & there was a short line, about 2 people ahead of us. The food on display looked pretty good. It didn't look like it sat there for hours, which we appreciate it. We were greeted by a young gal who was cordial to us, not overly friendly. Hubby ordered the big plate & his choices were chow mein, double order of honey walnut shrimp, & mushroom chicken. I had the 2 item plate of chow fun, mushroom chicken, & beef broccoli. Their plates are still reasonably priced. The young man that rang us up was also cordial, efficient, not super friendly. He advised us right off that they no longer provide plastic take out bags but sell a red take-out bag. I did not catch the price of the bag. I thought he said $1.20 or it may have been 20 cents. Either way, I didn't need one since I already had an extra bag with me. I was surprised when we got home that my hubby's 3rd entree item was not put in a little box which they've done numerous times before. Instead, his chicken mushroom was just dumped on top of the honey walnut shrimp. Overall, the entrees and the noodles had the same consistent & excellent flavor. The vegetables were crisp & crunchy (zucchini, broccoli). However, I was disappointed in the ratio of veggies to meat in the entrees, & quality. For the beef & broccoli, I had almost all broccoli including a couple of huge pieces & only 2 pieces of beef. My mushroom chicken had a good ratio of chicken (nice, bite-sized pieces), mushrooms, & zucchini. On my hubby's plate, good-sized shrimp but the walnuts in it tasted old. HIs mushroom chicken had lots more veggies than chicken. In fact, he only had a few pieces of chicken - maybe 3 - and they were so small in size like a size of a cheerio cereal. Wasn't too happy about that. The quality of Panda's food has really come down. Portions are still the same but within the portions, the customer somehow gets cheated. Great service at this Pandas location (Pearlridge downtown/makai side). The food is always fresh and not old. Chow mein always tastes right. Always clean. Love it I forgot to add that it's even better now because of the remodeled seating and now there's a stage and they have performances every Friday evening. Me and my daughter ordered food from here while hubby got his own food elsewhere. I got my daughter the kid's meal. I got half noodles and half rice with orange chicken with a kids drink. I ordered half fried rice and half noodles with mushroom chicken and green bean with chicken. My absolute favorite was the mushroom chicken. I always get this when I go to Panda Express. Food was good. I got a medium Coke zero. We also got fortune cookies. There's plenty of seating inside the food court which was right next to the movie theater we came out of. There were tables without cushions and regular tables with wooden chairs. Food was good and service was pretty fast. I ended up spending around $21 for me and daughter's food and drinks. Not bad. I love Panda Express! If you want cheap, fast, chinese food, this is where you go! If you want a more intricate chinese dish with deep flavors, then don't come here! I don't think there's a dish here that I don't like, I've tried everything and they are delicious. Let me just talk about my favorites. I love their sides, especially the wide noodles. I'm not sure if this is only in Hawaii but I don't remember seeing it in the mainland. But what I am so glad to know about is that they have super greens now as an option for their sides! It's broccoli, kale, and cabbage. I think it's perfect if you prefer to not eat carbs. As for the main entrees, i love their honey walnut shrimp and sweet fire chicken breast. You gotta pay extra for the shrimp but it's all good cause they give you a lot anyway. I also love their beijing beef. Thank you for the young gentleman, who sold us our food Saturday evening 5/21 at Pearlridge food court. We traveled from town to attend the night food market (outside parking of TJ Tax), but did not buy any food for the price. It was just before mall closing when we walked through the mall hoping we find something to eat. We quietly pondered on restaurants and was about to leave, when the nice man subtly announced a discount offer of his plates he had. Mind you it was near closing time and he was humble, nice. Panda Express #1866 (Pearlridge Uptown) I love Panda Express! I have never complained about their food, service, portion size etc. until I visited this location in pearlridge uptown. I've been coming here ever since. I ordered the usual thing i got chow mein with orange chicken and beef broccoli. I usually just order food and I dont bother to check/watch how people serve and i go straight to the register because i trust them. When i got home and i opened my plate lunch, there were only 2 slices of beef and bits of it; broccoli was over cooked and chow mein was bland (had to add soy sauce). After calling the restaurant to just let them know that we didn't receive all twelve of our spring rolls, the worker proceeded to tell us that "the manager was on spring rolls and confirmed that there were 12". So they are either accusing the door dash worker of eating the missing two or they are saying that we're lying. The worker then told us that they would give us a call back and of course, they did not. Didn't care that much about two missing spring rolls, but we did care about the terrible customer service. We asked for our order at the online counter and were told that it was not in their system. I asked again if this was the location by Tj Maxx and she said yes but it's not there. So we took all our other food from other locations and had to drive across to the other Panda by the Monorail. We left our food in the car and stood in line to find out that it wasn't at that Panda either. Our coworker called Panda about her order and was told that it was ready at the first location. So we drove back AGAIN to the first location and waited to speak with "J-" who said our order was not there before and it was not even made yet. She said that it popped up in the system 10 mins after the pick up time. I don't feel that she checked as thoroughly as the employee at the other location. Panda Express has many tasty choices. I especially like their chow mien noodles and honey walnut shrimp. Recently I ordered the barbecue chicken to go, but when we got home they forgot to include the barbecue sauce. I contacted the manager and she was very apologetic and offered to comp my next barbecue chicken order. I really appreciated the managers attitude and willingness to fix the mistake the counter person made by offering a solution that made feel like a valued customer. This is the second Panda Express location to open up at Pearlridge Center. This one opened in the food court on the Uptown side (Macys side). The staff at this location are very friendly and great customer service. The food in the display case are in much smaller trays than how other Panda Express locations so I feel that the food is a lot fresher. The food does seem much more appetizing with this presentation and tastes fresher too! Ask for a sample, they are more than happy to let you sample anything! My recommendations...honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken and eggplant tofu to name a few. This location also has brown rice for you healthy folks too (the Downtown location does not). With this location open, I don't eat at the Downtown location anymore. On a side note... this Panda took over the spot where Patti's used to be (I miss Patti's). ^_^*~ read more

I'm a big fan of Panda Express food but what I had last night was I have to say the worst. It was my first time going to this location for their food and I was not happy at all. I got the noodles and BBQ beef with mushroom, the pan was full so you would think it would of been fresh but when I ate it the noodles were hard and dried out and some were stuck together, the BBQ beef and mushroom was ok but was probably cooked too long. A tip for all you healthy AND hungry folks..... this is what i order one large side of mixed veggies $4.00, a small side of chicken with green beans $3.50. Go home pull out a big bowl throw the mixed veggies in strain the water but dont throw it away. throw the chicken with green beans on it. Now remember the water you strained i mix in 2 packets of the chili sauce gives it a kick and some acidity, mix it together and dump it over the top. Its good i promise its good. 9 oz of veggies 0.5 grams of fat 70 calories 6 oz chicken with string beans 7 grams of fat 170 calories almost 1 lb of food 7.5 grams of fat and 240 calories at $7.85 (thats after tax!) anyways that just my healthy eating tip read more
