So upon pulling up to the drive thru at 10:25, hours of operation shows 10:30 is when they open. On the dot they came on at 10:30. I ordered chow mien with orange chicken and string bean chicken breast. I was told that they only had rice and chowmein cooked. Are you kidding me?! You open at 10:30 and nothing but chowmein and rice is cooked? Lol So they told me to wait in the front for about 4-5 mins. When I pulled up to pay they said "we are out of string beans chicken breast" how do you run out of food when you just opened? This place is a joke. If I wasn't hungry I would go somewhere else. This place is absolute Garbage! I could probably get better quality meat out of my dogs food! If they do give you nasty food that isn't edible by human standards unless you want ground up gizzards and chicken feet with gobs of skin with NO actual MEAT in sight, they will not make it right! Next you stroll along the rest of the case choosing your entree. Dont hesitate to go back & forth a couple of times... You definitely want the Teriyaki Chicken & another item/ Tonight I got the Beijing Beef too. It was sweet & spicy. It all is good. Freshly made & if they ran out of your item, it does not take long to cook. You can taste any item. Dont forget to order some Rangoon (Cream cheese stuffed Fried wonton) or egg rolls. Yummy too. This is the closest panda to us so we come here. Literally every single time we come they are either out of white rice or chowmein. I think they just stop serving at a certain time. I mean it's acceptable when it's about an hour before closing but they stop serving these items like 3-4 hours before closing time. I used to work at Panda Express in Yucaipa and this was unacceptable. Do better. read more

Looks like I'm not the only one always kept waiting for food they should have on hand. It seems like every time I come to this location I have to wait 15 minutes for something they don't have prepared. But, what finally got me to write a review was how I asked for brown rice, which I assume they must have run out of, because they subbed part of my rice for a crusty heap of dry white rice that they tried to make look brown by smearing with brown sauce. First of all we were late . .should have just used the drive thru but my husband likes to see the food and make his selection so he went in ......it was past closing time so the people in front of us got their food and by the time it was our turn they were almost out of what we wanted... but the service and the courtesy we received after ...makes me give this place a five star ...soley becoz of Yully (I hope I remembered her name right) ... She was ready to make us the food(not just one item..) ..even though it was waaaay past closing time .....(no stores have so sincerely made an offer ...at least to me )She was so apologetic and courteous ..... ... If I had a business I would love if my employees were half of what she was .. we just got whatever they had cuz finding food at that hr was enough for us ... Restaurant is clean, but the girls at the counter (at least when I've gone in) are not very personable. The food usually looks like it's been sitting there for hours...and it tastes like it. The chow mein noodles are usually a safe bet, but that's about it. The orange chicken I ordered a couple weeks ago was very crunchy. Also....sometimes the orange chicken is very spicy, sometimes it's not. I asked the girl behind the counter if they had two different types of orange chicken, and she said no, just the one. Funny thing was....as I was leaving after paying for the order, the only employee who said thanks for coming in...was the cook in the back! Probably won't go here again. read more

As I was ordering, another employee jumped in front of the guy helping me took all the string bean chicken which then I said I was going to tell you string bing chicken but I guess not. After multiple visits to this location I finally decided we are not noting to come back. They never give teriyaki sauce when we order it and have forgotten things from our order a few times. I love this Panda Express. I live in Big Bear Lake and when I come off the mountain this is the first place I go. The food is fresh and always hot when served. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. The flavors of the food is wonderful. I love orange chicken but the Panda Orange chicken is just a little too spicy for me so I no longer order it. Only wish there was a Panda Express in Big Bear. read more

I don't get the bad reviews of this Panda store. I go there all the time, the staff is friendly, all of the food choices are available and fresh, and service is quick. The food has been excellent because it has not been sitting. I have had bad experiences in other Panda stores, so will continue to get my food at this one. I normally LOVE panda express but this one was not a hit. They had rotted food out that they gave to me and as I sat down I realized it. I kindly asked them if they could please give me a none rotted one; they said sure and tried to charge me for their inconvience so after a little argument they finally told me ok they would give a new one. They greeted us as soon as we walked in the door(all of them - there were 4 people on the floor (the chef at the grill, 2 girls serving people in front of us, & the drive thru girl), they all had smiles on their face.
