Got really bad food poisoning will not be going again. Food is okay but definitely not worth getting over again.

9/17/19 - used doordash for the food delivery. This is the second order I've done in 2 days. Both times the ragoons are overdone with hints of burnt. Ragoons usually come with sweet and sour, and both times they haven't. There is no way to add this to the app as a message, but you would think they would know to put some sauces in the bag. I love the chicken, it's a bit inconsistent sometimes when you order, but overall the flavor makes up for a lot. read more

It was one of the worst service I have experienced.The worker would not listen to our request. Then she rushes us and kept trying to change the order.Didn't even put fork, hot sauce, napkins . A great team who are dedicated to excellent service. An angry customer took out his bad day on the staff, despite this they went out of their way to please him. This was 15 minutes before closing and the customer expected them to cook a new batch of Spring rolls, and then he just bought 1. Although the man was rude, no one complained about him after he left. I don't like leaving a bad review. But, I must. This location sucks. My husband attempted to get an order for the two of us and there is barely enough for one. And the food looks "aged." Hey Panda Express in Arlington, please get a clue. You were not doing us a favor, we paid you. To say we were bitterly disappointed is a huge understatement. We will never be back to this location again. BTW, they didn't even earn the one star, my husband told the server this is for two. We were happy to pay for two. TWO ORDERS!!! Not this sloppy one serving. Grrrrr. We paid $16 for this. One disgusting portion. Just ate. I don't know how you burn these, (cream cheese wontons) but they are. The cream cheese has an odd texture. the wait is always way too long here for some subpar "chinese" food. The staff lacks a sense of urgency, the food is always cold.

My wife, daughter, and I stopped in at 8:40 and placed a $45 order which we had to wait for the Orange Chicken (that was fine), but getting home and realizing we had no Teriyaki sauce for my chicken, and they completely forgot the Spring rolls and Egg roll we ordered due to the rush to get us out by 9:00. I will go elsewhere even if it means a longer drive and more money. So disgusted with their service. read more

Got my order wrong 7 times in one trip, problem is i only ordered 4 plates... i had to supervise them just placing food in a styrofoam box... shouldn't be too hard to get right you'd think but even after being told and corrected several times they still managed to put someone else's plate in the bag after I ordered.... i order Beijing beef, i get chicken ... I order sesame chicken for the wife, you give me shrimp (allergic to it FUN!!)... You discontinued sweet and sour chicken so now our kids can't eat here, everything else is too spicy... I then ask for two other orders for the kids and you only make one plate.... I ask again for the next plate, you start it, then pause to fill an online order, taking the ingredients that are in my order and then tell me to wait 10 minutes for mine.... btw the online order sat on the pickup shelf until after i left including my 10 minute wait time, soo someone's getting a cold plate eventually... You guys generally try to screw up one order every time we eat here but today was apparently epic screwup day... read more

Unfortunately, I think it's the manager, is not friendly at all and is SO skimpy on the sauce. We have ordered multiple portions of teriyaki chicken and been given no teriyaki sauce, this has happened multiple times in the last few years as we've always loved getting Panda Express like once a month. I don't feel like you should have to beg for a few teriyaki sauce when you're paying for meals. We won't be coming back unfortunately because of this, tired of having to turn back around and go back in for dang sauce that should just come with the TERIYAKI chicken. Online ordering is a joke. They want you to cut in line. I have been told my whole life not to cut in line, but this is what they expect. And there is no one at the register. So I waited in line as if I was ordering as usual, the lady then just told me to stand in front of the cash register while bypassing everyone that is already in line. I'm really disappointed in this location. I usually go here, but tonight I couldn't believe my experience. We walked in and there was hardly any food out, they asked us if we wanted anything and pointed to what little they had left out which obviously had been out for a while. The chicken looked dry and the sauces were crusted onto the bowls, that was about all they had out. Granted, we came in with a little over an hour before closing time but still, they shouldn't be out of food.. and with a hungry infant I wasn't going to wait a half hour or more for them to make my entire meal. Big kudos go to the staff at Smokey Point Panda Express. They had only two people serving/ringing up customers and three cooks. These people are so amazing! I am not kidding when I say that they rocked it!!!! The amount of customers they served just while I was there with such a small number of staff members working was unbelievable. They all worked together like a well oiled machine. Where one would leave off, the next one picked up, never once losing their team spirit. This team deserves a big high five for their ability to get the work done in an efficient and professional manner. Thank you for making my Friday night great. Been here before without issue. This time I don't know what was the deal. Food was empty when we got there which isn't uncommon and we had to wait a few minutes, again no problem yet. However some food was dished up and sat, other food that was ready wasn't so when what we were waiting for was ready other food was out. All total 10 minutes before we paid and 10 minutes after so some of our meal sat on the counter for 20 minutes, when I tried to bring it up to Adrian, the manager, he rudely said if it's cold I'll replace it and walked off when I said it was cold. read more

I walked up to the register because I just wanted to get a drink. The lady at the front Ana told me that I had to go all the way to the back which is almost to the door, to wait and get a drink. I asked, " you can't just cash me out right now all I'm getting is a drink" she said no you have to wait to the back of the line. so I turned around and then she accused me of rolling my eyes and yelled that across the restaurant. she then came over and told me that she said i don't know why you are rolling your eyes at me I told you I would be right there to help you so now you can just stand in line and wait so thank you and you are welcome. I understand if you are stressed lady, but you never told me to wait, you said that I had to go to the end of the line to wait. when they were still getting the next persons order plated. My family and I love Panda Express but this location seems to be majorly lacking. Not only was it a 10min wait to get my entree but the place is just a lot slower then others in general. It seemed like the people working there didn't quite know how to handle the high volume of people that were coming in. Most of the entrees were gone or almost gone and you would think that at 4:30-5:00 on a weekday (general dinner rush) they would be kicking food out left and right. I put a 5 star review due to a very excellent customer service for an employee named Ekky. I got home from work and decided not to cook instead I searched for an open places to eat I found that Panda Express closes at 9pm so I tried to call it was 9:05pm I expected that no one would answer or if they do they would just say they're close. This lady name Ekky answered the phone she's very polite I asked if there are still food left for the night she said yes there's actually a few which she was knowledgeable with the menu of what's left. She also expressed that they are closed but if I place my order she would get it ready and wait for me. So I got there around 9:15 some employees are already cleaning and doors are locked. She waved at me with a smile I got in and my order is warm, boxed and ready to go. I got home and my meal was in big portions! I was very full with tons of left overs for my lunch food the next day! I'm very glad that there are still employees like Ekky which I assume had been working hard the whole day but still went above and beyond to satisfy a customer and not to mention reduced the cost of waste from that day for selling the remaining food even if they're closed. This is one of my favorites. Been to a few of these. Would say this one is among the top for food and cleanliness. But there is good with the bad. Good: Food is delicious. There are many counter people working but I always see one chef cooking alone... for many empty dishes. So I went in here for a quick lunch my my boyfriend. The lady took forever to finally take our order. Once she came over and greeted us she asked if we wanted to sample anything. I agreed and pointed out two food options i wanted to try. She went ahead and grabbed a plate and put those two options onto the plate. I was confused as to why she'd do this because I didn't order yet, I only wanted to sample. Fine. My boyfriend went ahead and ordered. After he ordered, I asked if I could have the exact same thing as him. (he ordered double orange with chow mein). She for some reason gave my fried rice... Very disappointed with this location. I have visited several Panda Express locations and the service and food have always been consistent from location to location--until today. Arrived at about 1:15. Three people working, of which two were cooking. Several of the food items had not even been filled yet. The rest were almost empty. My favorite is the orange chicken but theirs was super dry and did not have its usual flavor. Very short staffed and though the girl was not rude, she was not friendly either. They were fairly busy so people had quite a wait. After we got our food, the only girl helping people walked out the door and left with several people still waiting in line. We got screwed here. I had read a review on another p.e. this place is different, this place made me angry. We sat to split a plate of three entrees and some pot stickers. Not ten bites into the meal my girlfriend bites into some bone...not funny. Me being hungry I kept eating, bad choice...CRUNCH!!! I could have sworn I broke a tooth. So I have never eaten here and was excited to try it out. When I first walked in I was greated by a nice young lady who recommend I pick one of the meal deals for $6.99 or $6.97 or something like that. When I looked at my selections to pick from there wasn't a whole lot of food sitting in the tray thing. None of it looked appatizing. I managed to pick fried rice, walnut shrimp (for a dollar more.), orange chicken (hard as a rock and had no flavor at all), 3 pot stickers for an extra $3 and bottle of flavored water ( I didn't see the soda machine hiding behind the corner.) So after all that my total was $11.97.. for a one person lunch that is insane! I had PE cater a family event. I ordered the 12-16 people deal which comes with two sides (I chose veggies and fried rice) and two entrees (I chose chicken egg rolls and orange chicken.) The first thing I noticed was that the orange chicken was only filled halfway. The rice and veggies was full and we received the specified amount of egg rolls (24.) Everything was hot and pretty good. I do agree with the other review that the orange chicken was dry and a bit hard, but it wasn't too bad. I did call PE the next morning and complained about the half full orange chicken (hey, 100 bucks is a lot to me!) and they said it should've been full to the brim. She told me to just mention the incident the next time I have them cater and they'll make sure the containers are full. I said I thought I should get a discount and she said..."sure, mention it and we'll give ya one." I'm pretty sure she was just placating me, but we shall see. UPDATE: We went in a few months ago and did, in fact, mention what had happened and what the person said to us on the phone. Both the man (manager) and girl working were extremely rude. I wanted to let someone know that the employees are not following safety guidelines. The cooks were wearing face masks. Sounds great Right! Nope The masks are on their chins not covering their mouths and nose. The person taking payments had gloves on but was not changing them between customers, therefore creating cross contamination. I usually enjoy coming to this place for a quick meal but I won't return till this Covid virus is done. They need to educate their employees on the proper procedures for using gloves and masks. read more
