Do not go here for an online order. I placed an online order today and it was not fulfilled until 2 hours after my order was placed. The restaurant was full of angry, upset and some hostile customers all waiting for their orders. I ended up requesting to cancel my order after waiting for over an hour in the store. The team member had no eta for orders to be fulfilled. 30 min after I left I got a text that my order was ready. It makes no sense to not be able to fulfill online orders in a timely manner while the staff focused on the walk in orders. Biggest waste of time ever! Update: the team member wrote down my name and said she would cancel my order for me. Apparently she did not do her job because I still got the text that my order was ready 30 minutes after I left the store. This is a good location run by engaging staff who respond quickly and are also very patient when explaining how the portions work to someone who is unfamiliar (obviously not me I am V familiar). Okay. So. Mama Grizzly was ready to dine, I'm always ready. It's 9:57 pm, we pull up to the panda, i keep it simple with a classic - Grilled chicken teriyaki with whatever those vegetables are instead of the delicious noodles or good time fried rice, this is on my mother's dime so...should I say that as a 31 year old man? I should. Not. But oh well, thanks mom! And she gets the shrimp and some mushroom chicken plus the stir fried veggies. I eat my food to completion (always). Mama bear gets full but we know good food and good food is still pretty good later so she saves it. I ask for a new bowl for mama bear and staff gave it to me so fast that I fell over but the momentum was so strong that I kept flipping till I was back on my feet. Okay that did not happen nor is it possible in my current top heavy physical form, too much muscle and brawn probably, I'm not sure. But staff was nice and helpful and checked bathrooms for cleanliness while we were there. I used the facilities myself and regret not eating off the bathroom floor (it was very clean). At the end of our traditional Panda Express adventure, I cracked my fortune, ate the two halves BEFORE READING THE FORTUNE so that (by law) the fortune would be bound to fulfill whatever is inscribed upon its flesh by the consumer of its cookie crust. They were calling for broccoli and beef from the moment we walked in spent 15 minutes there they had just started making the broccoli and beef. After we got our food the chow mein was hard and stale along side the fried rice was undercooked and hard. I decided to go into this location because the two times I tried delivery they got my simple order wrong and the food tasted as though it was from the day before. For starters, the employees weren't very friendly what so ever. The person taking orders spoke as if he was whispering. The store was busy and for as many employees as there were, you'd think they were on top of things. I had to wait 15 minutes for my food because "there wasn't enough chow mein" however there was plenty in the bowl to satisfy my small order and then some. I saw a group of 6 that came in after me get their food before I did. I have never seen such a disorganized, unfriendly, group of employees. Wont be going back to this location for a very. One of the things that they could definitely improve on is using heating lamps, especially if they're putting your food or food. It's supposed to go on the line. They also need to learn how to provide better customer service along with being honest on how long an order will take. They prioritize customers coming into the store versus those customers that order online or use Delivery services. I know several people who have had to wait an hour and a half from a delivery service who had to wait there an hour just to get one person's order. Also, they need to learn how to be honest and truthful with customers, especially the management when it comes to dealing with customer complaints rather than saying, it will be a few more minutes and it turns into be 15 minutes to a half hour. I would recommend looking at patronizing their other locations in Lynnwood or the new one that should be opening soon at Lake Stevens. More often than not, one specific menu item is missing so there is a back-up of half filled orders. It is a great buffet type kind of restaurant, family and I enjoyed the food a lot. They do have a good service, but it is true they should use gloves to make the orders and grab the food even if they're not touching them directly with their hands, and improve in their overall hygiene. Disgusting, they mix old honey walnut shrimp that has been sitting out for an 20 minutes not in warm area on counter, , with new walnut shrimp and serve to customers, I got sick recently at their location, they had my review removed from Door Dash for stating this, manager or supervisor in gray panda shirt, doesn't use gloves or a hair net, serves old shrimp, she thought I was being rude when all I was nice to everyone, the employees of were nice and did customer service, but giving old shrimp that was sitting out because I asked for new shrimp which I did wait for, she proceeded to give me old shrimp that was sitting out. I had to leave before I did become rude. Everyone knows you don't leave shrimp sitting out that long and cross contamination is vital. I usually like panda. But to go so far to remove my review from door dash for reporting their safety violations. Food people need to come out and do undercover report. I asked for no ice so they switched my cup to a smaller cup size and left my husbands large with ice. Yet, I paid for the large size. Update: I called and indeed it was supposed to be a large. I let her know I ordered two and they were two different sizes and she said they shouldn't have been. However, instead of apologizing and having good customer service, she told me I still got the same amount since I asked for no ice. Regardless of whether I asked for no ice I paid for the large size and didn't get it. In fact, they swapped the large size out as soon as I asked for no ice. Which, is totally understandable, as it was a large order. I called last night and spoke to an employee who then sent me to Ana/Anna who I believe is the manager. She asked for the name and order number which I gave her. She then told me she would replace the bowl the next day if I came in and asked for her. So I did that today! Been here several times and it's always a hassle. Today they asked if I wanted to wait for my entree and said a 5 minute wait. After 24 minutes it was ready and they didn't redo the rest of the meal that was already made so it was cold and gross. Worst panda express I've ever been too... Beijing beef was the most decent thing I had there along with the Rangoon, but the orange chicken and chow mein were... odd. The chow mein lacked seasoning, parts of the chow mein were still stuck together, and tasted like it came straight from the package. The chow mein in general had a slightly sour after taste which concerned me as all chow mein at most panda expresses taste similar, if not the same. It was like eating Safeway chow mein. The orange chicken's sauce tasted fine, probably because it wasn't made there. The breading of the chicken was messy, and crumbly. There were hard bits of batter on pieces of chicken, and pieces that contained all fat, no chicken, or pieces that have a strange chewy and slimy texture. I never have leftovers from Panda Express, but today, I had plenty. I guess this is what I get for trying a Panda Express in Arlington. read more
