Plate (chow mein, broccoli beef, mushroom chicken)
David Y.

Make a pit stop at Panda Express to refuel after a long morning at the Pentagon City mall. You know what you're getting at a fast food place like Panda Express, and this location is no different. Tasty, oily American Chinese in large quantities for a solid price (~$10 for a plate after tax). I ordered chow mein with broccoli beef and mushroom chicken. The noodles were tasty and had a good amount of chewiness, though there was a bit more cabbage than I would have liked. The broccoli was a skillfully cooked crisp-tender, and the beef was full of flavor. Well, more precisely, the sauce was full of flavor. The texture of the beef felt more boiled than wok-fired. But I digress. The point is, it tastes good, and it's an affordable meal in a world of ever-increasing prices. Plus, you get a free fortune cookie!

Also shows that it's paid for

terrible place. I ordered my food sat there for almost a hour waiting for my food. continuously showing every employee my order number while they are laughing and joking having a good old time. I was down there so long my phone died they already took the money from my bank account which I showed them multiple times with I ended up sitting there for a hour just to not get any food while they were making orders for a hour. very unprofessional everybody down there. nobody including the manager cannot do their job. the manager doesn't posses the basic customer skills to do his job. I was speaking to him and he just walked off while I was speaking which was very unprofessional I will never buy food from there again and I will be disputing the charge. they are lucky I couldn't give them zero stars because if I could I would. on top of that they are always rude down there. dont ever go here I'm trying to save you your time and money

Every time we buy here, they do not serve us as they should. They serve little food. When we were in other pandas, they gave us the pleasure. This place is really disappointing

Attention sucks, specially from the cashier name Alba, she's really rude with the customer. Personally I will never eat in this panda again

Not bad for the price you pay, I like it. Tastes a whole lot better than the Chinese carryouts in the area

Celebrating Black History month by supporting Black owned businesses. Join me!…read more Black owned business UberEats review "All Hail the Queen!!!! Of duck fat fried chicken! Whew-this place was everything that I needed on a calm Sunday. As mentioned, I ordered online so I haven't visited the location in person yet. But, after my experience with the food, I'm eager to take the trip and check them out. I ordered the 2 piece tenders which came with a side of duck fat fries. I then paired it with the mother sauce and extra pickles. These chicken tenders were huge cuts and perfectly fried. The seasoning on this meat was perfect, not too salty and not bland at all. It was just right! The mother sauce took the chicken tenders over the top with each dip and honestly, whatever is in this sauce needs to be bottled and sold lol. The duck fat fries were addictive because of a dry seasoning sprinkled on them. Add that to hot crispy fries and you've got magic! Definitely recommend this menu selection. My boyfriend had the Queen Mother's classic sandwich and he raved about the flavor profiles and soft bread. He said that the chicken sandwich was a hit to him and that he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. As mentioned, I think that this place might be worth an in person visit to try another one of their great chicken sandwiches and those amazing fries.

We ordered: +the Queen Mother's Classic Chicken Sandwich - brined and battered chicken breast, cooked in duck fat, topped with Mother Sauce and dill pickles, and nestled between a Lyon bakery brioche +the Virginia Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich - brined and battered chicken breast, cooked in duck fat, brushed with a honey butter, and nestled between a Lyon bakery brioche +Duck Fat Fries - seasoned with Queen's spice and choice of sauces The sandwiches were okay - while they were a generous size, I felt that the breast was way too thick, and the batter wasn't as crispy and tasty as I imagined it to be; also, there were just not enough pickles in there. Fries, which seemed like a popular item, were more on the bland side and not have been drained completely. Located at the Water Park, you can order ahead online and do a pickup or order in person - everything is made-to-order. Staff are friendly! Garage parking is located in the area, and there are seating/community tables in the area. +friendly service +located at the Water Park

With an impressively high Yelp rating, I was disappointed to hear the new owners say the glowing reviews are from the previous owner (though I respect the honesty). Despite that, we really enjoyed our visit. The new owners live up to the legacy. First of all, the service is excellent. An older man makes the food and who I assume is his daughter takes the orders. Both are kind. At the end, she gave my daughter a granola bar for free. The menu is a mix of Korean food and the small market in the back sells Korean products and more. It's very fun to browse and pick up some snacks and treats. My daughter loved the juicy grape fruit snacks. To eat, we ordered the Japanese curry and milk tea. Both were full of flavor and made with love. "This is my new favorite meal of all time," said my daughter. She devoured the bowl herself! There's a small parking lot in front of the cafe. It's within walking distance from the Crystal City Metro.

Who knew that there would be a cafe in Pentagon City with this option? The interior is a bit cramped with many cardboard boxes piling up. We were able to order the food at the counter and waited about 5-10 minutes before the food was ready. BRAISED PORK OVER RICE (卤肉饭) - 15.49 Lots of rice, more rice than I could finish with the amount of braised pork belly they give. The pork was very fatty, which made it tasty and juicy, but it wasn't very saucy. There were two halves of a bokchoy and half of an incredibly boiled egg, which was meh. Still, I finished all the toppings and maybe a little less than half of the rice. I was full, but $15.49 for the food was not worth it. Overall, 3.5/5 but bump it to a 4/5 since there's a scarcity of food like this in the area. They sell other comfort Asian dishes too, like coconut chicken cutlet rice and Japanese eel rice.

It's pretty much an average McDonald's in terms of food, service, quality, and cleanliness. The parking is pretty small and it sees a lot of people since it's the closest location to the Reagan National Airport in Crystal City. Parking is pretty small so when you're entering through US-1, it could get backed up due to the drive thru immediately on the left. You may need to drive around the building if the line of the drive thru gets backed up. This location is a 2 story building and it looks updated with its interior decoration. You can order 4 different ways: through the counter, the self-ordering kiosk, mobile app, and the drive thru. The day we decided eat inside, the stairs to the second level was blocked (not sure why or for what reason). It was also not busy for a weekday afternoon, so we were able to sit at a large booth. There were even counter height seating available. Food is as expected, just average, but at least it was hot and came out fairly quickly. Service was good and decent.

Instead, after taking his payment, they informed him that he could not sit there because a group would be coming in 30 minutes and that he should go outside and eat. Outside. In weather that was a little too nippy for that kind of foolishness. It was a complete slap in the face. Let us be clear. Once a business accepts a customer's money, that customer is no longer a passerby. He is a paying guest. To then tell him he cannot sit and must take his food elsewhere is not a minor inconvenience. It is disrespect. It is disorder. It is a sign that the establishment has no command of hospitality, no understanding of dignity, and no instinct for how to treat people with even the smallest measure of courtesy. What exactly was the Famous Chef Thomas supposed to do, stand in the middle of the floor and eat like a man without sense? Hover awkwardly with food in hand while being made to feel unwanted? Absolutely not. The Famous Chef Thomas has rules, and one of them is permanent: never stay where you are unwanted. https://famouschefthomas.com/paris-notes/never-stay-where-you-are-unwanted.html That rule exists for a reason. When an establishment shows you plainly that your comfort, your presence, and your patronage mean nothing, the correct response is not to beg, explain, or compromise. The correct response is to leave. So the Famous Chef Thomas demanded his money back and walked. That was the meal. That was the experience. That was the review. This dive is not simply disappointing. It is banned by the Famous Chef Thomas.
