I wanted to give this place like 10's. The food was fresh!! Other Panda Express locations have the food under that hot lamp, wasting away like a person lost in the desert, begging for a drop of water. Not this place! The food looked and smelled good from the jump. It made me want to try something new and not just go for the teriyaki chicken per-usual. I had the Orange Chicken and the black pepper chicken. The Orange Chicken sause didn't have the consistency of molasses so that's a win. The vegies in the Black pepper chicken had a good crunch and not a soggy slush, win number two. This is the second time that when I asked for a plate for my little one to eat from, I was handed a dirty plate. This time the plate was used and written on. We go to this Panda only because my little one loves noodles. We used to go to the Panda that was on Plummer but it closed unfortunately. I was always happy with their service. If I'm handed dirty plates or employees handling cash at the register then grab a handful of fortune cookies and place on top of a clean plate, it makes me question food safety and hygiene. When you order food through their online pick-up, make sure to check the contents of the bag(s) before you leave the store. I do not order food from Panda Express often, but the last two times I did ordered it was 3X teriyaki chicken plates and both times they fail to include teriyaki sauce. We're not talking about extra sauce. They only gave grilled chicken. The 1st time it happened, I just ignore it and used teriyaki sauce that i had at home. But today, they left out the sauce again. Both times, I tried calling the store, but they never pick-up the phone, so only option is for me to drive back to the store to get the sauce. If this is their way of saving cost, just call it as what it is on their menu ........grilled chicken-unless you ask for sauce or return to the store and complain. I've never had any complaints from any Panda Express ever in my life, EXCEPT for this location every single time I come here. I've even tried not coming here for months, but my order never changes, and neither does their ignorance when it comes to cooking cream cheese rangoons. The last 8 times I've ordered, they never have them ready so you have to wait 5-6 minutes while the rest of your food sits and gets cold. Then they like to burn them so they're black and extra crispy on the edges because they don't go by "timers", and quite frankly I don't think they even know what a timer is! I also ordered teriyaki chicken which they didn't ask if I wanted the sauce on the side or not, doesn't matter to me either way... but when you get home and have 2 sauces and they literally filled them each with only ONE TEASPOON of sauce that won't even cover but ONE BITE of chicken, that's disturbing. Are they worried about loss of profit? Because they rounded my .25 cents up to a dollar when they rang me out, so there's already an extra .75 cents they got out of me. I go back and return the rangoons and she gave me $1.64. Ummm they're $1.95 last time I checked, but i didn't have the patience to sit and argue over cents. So I come back for the 1st time in 9 months, because I have 2 coupons. One free rice bowl + BOGO rice bowls, so that would be 3 bowls with 2 coupons. We are a family of 3, and as I was ordering, the male associate told me I can't use both coupons in a single transaction. No problem I think... my 4-year old is with me. I said she can use the free bowl and I will use the BOGO & we can do 2 separate transactions. He said no, they can't do that. I said "Why? She's going to use one for herself and I will use the other for me and my husband." He said no again. I said "Are you telling me that she is NOT a person?" He shook his head and continued to say he can't take the coupons. I repeated the question again and he continued to make the "I don't know gesture"‍ I told him I will be taking this up with the corporate office, because we are two separate "people." This pands express gets pretty busy. The food tastes good and the portions aren't too bad. I guess it just depends on who is serving that day. I have noticed that some other locations have different entre options, more variety sometimes. All and all it gets the job done. Parking is usually not a problem and the cistomer service is good. Today I was at this Panda Express. My bill was $18.40. The cashier asks if I wanted to donate one dollar. I said not this time. She then asked if I wanted to donate the 60 cent difference in my bill and again I said not this time. I gave her a $20 dollar bill and said that she didn't have any change, but I could donate the 60 cents. I again said that I didn't wish to donate. I placed my order online for pickup (figured it will be quicker) which it was OK but was disappointed at the choices that were given since they actually serve more items on their menu then what was available online to choose. Basically you have a limited selection when it comes to online ordering. I dont know who creates the menu online but in store there are more choices to pick as my favorites were not listed online when i ordered. The other reason i gave this place 1 star was because the computer didnt print out all my orders. Another reason was the portion of food which i felt like could be more. Gosh, I really hate that it has come to this, but being a local and a fan of Panda for like 10 years country-wide... and more particularly a frequent customer at this location, meaning at least once a month minimum for the last year and a half, it saddens me to make this review, but I went there for lunch just now with my hubby, and WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO YOUR FOOD?!!?! This place USED to be pretty good (not the BEST Panda Express ever or I would have left a positive review in the past, but still, it was good enough to keep going back to). Unfortunately, the last couple times I have gone there, the food has completely disappointed me, but today it was just HORRIBLE!!! I got the samurai surf & turf a la cart and not only did it taste like it had been sitting there for 7 hours, but the beef actually tasted like the meat was expired! It had this weird, sour taste and I couldn't even eat it. It's quite unfortunate considering I live and work right down the street, but due to this experience today (and the less than great experience last time), I have officially given up on this particular Panda Express, throwing in the towel. Hopefully new management or a new owner or something will take over soon and SAVE this place.
