I have been going to this location for a while now but I'm DONE with the little short girl that works there and lies to customers and bullies her co-workers into supporting her lies. She likes to start closing at 8:30 and if you come in any time around 8:45 she will tell you that they don't have any food. She's done it to me and I called her out on it and said she was a liar. I saw her do it to other customers as well. I came in just before 8:45 and she took my order but 2 other customers came in and she turned them away and said they had no more food. There was another employee with her and he just sat there. The next time I came in I asked him if she was telling the truth when she told customers that they were out of food and he said "no". He felt uncomfortable contradicting her in front of his co-worker and me. She will look you straight in the face and lie. read more

I got the beef bowl with veggies and brown rice. This place has been by my house for quite some time and I finally decided to try it. Honestly, it was a decent meal and the food was good. Portions were generous enough that I had leftovers for the next day. Service was fine and prices were reasonable for what I got. Just got their spicy chicken bowl. I really like that you can taste the fire in their meat. It would be a five if it came with a bit more meat. The pricing is comparable with nearby teriyaki places but feel that their bowl has more rice and less meat. The best part of this place is that you can ask for extra sauce. They gave me 3 different sauces. Other places charge for their special sauce. Another thing I like about their bowls is that it actually has broccoli. You can customize it with carrots or without. The other place down the street is mostly cabbage and barely any broccoli. I like to order their spicy chicken bowl with brown rice, broccoli, extra onions, and extra sauce on side. Unsanitary behavior by an apparent cook. On 10/7/25 at approximately 2:30pm, I parked in available parking behind Flame Broiler. I usually park there when going to stores in the plaza. Directly in front of me was the back door of the Flame Broiler. As I was about to exit my car, I noticed the back door of the Flame Broiler swing open. A Latino man came out and it was clear he was an employee. He then kneeled to the ground/cement and appeared to squeegee something. When he got up it became clear he had a large kitchen knife and was trying to sharpen it on the dirty cement floor. A couple moments later he finished and went back inside the restaurant. It was not good, he told me to take the bowl back and he would change it, i did because the mini bowl is almost $10. When i got there the cook was preparing the bowl, and since i noticed hes there daily the whole day and by himself i asked if he was the owner trying to ask him and start a conversation about the restaurant, and he rudely replied, "no im not, is that why you brought the bowl back?" It was my 1st time at Flame Broiler. Food was great, but Tiahna was even better! She's amaaaaAaZing! I wasn't in the best mood and I think T could tell. And she used humor to make me smile, but she ended up making me laugh! She took her time and explained what every sauce tasted like, which meant a lot me because the jalapeño sauce she suggested was delicious! After the owner calls me with personal phone number telling me to send him the copy of my credit card along with the copy of my ID card to his email and when I refused he stated he will have his stuff stop making my order but yet he charged my credit card when my husband called him on his phone he stated it will be refunded in 24 hrs but why was it charged for the order that was cancelled? And now he charged it twice. Do not order from this location. Funny thing is I would always go to this location every time I go to smart and final or Trader Joe's in the same plaza. I walked in today and wasn't greeted by either of the girls standing a the register. They seemed too busy having their own inappropriate side conversation. I don't know what happened to this place but when I lived close by, it was really good. Looks like new ownership but I just went in there and it was like 100° both employees were sweating all over the place. The one guy was coming in and out of the restroom, which was very weird then I saw him helped the other employee and touched the food right after wiping sweat off his head, somebody else saw this within the same hour. I was there because I just read a review that had similar experience wasted $40 because I took the food home and was so grossed out we did didn't touch it. Health department needs to check this place out. I don't think they have a clue how to run a restaurant sadly not trying to be rude, but that was such a weird and gross experience. The lady knocked on the door of the restroom trying to get the other employee to come out to help me originally like the whole thing from start to finish was off $40 down the drain, but I don't know if the whole staff was sick or something, but I'm not touching that stuff. In fact, the employee at the front yelled to the back cook "Jason what do we have to serve" which we thought, okay busy day they must be out of stuff. So we asked if they had tofu available? The employees are super friendly and the magic sauce is amazing and you can actually purchase a bottle for home so of course we have our home stash as well. You can order online as well. There are a couple of Flame Broilers nearby my work place, but I like this one location better than the Nordoff one. Parking is easier, traffic lights leading to it are not as confusing as Nordoff and the location has a TV normally set to local channels for entertainment purposes.
