We frequent many restaurants in CDA and I am leaving a review strictly to show my gratitude to the employees at this location. They tend to hire young adults and it surprises me how dedicated these youngsters are. It's obvious that the manager goes above and beyond to look for genuine people. They greet you happily and work hard to make you happy. The food is always good at Panda, which keeps us coming back. But I love seeing the employees every time I walk in and they are always so cheerful. It's humbling. Are you vegan? Here are your possibilities: (A la carte) "Large box chow mien" $4.10! Tons of delicious noodles/veggies. Ask for soy sauce which makes this dish perfect. I am hugely dissapointed. Might just as well have gone to China Garden buffet because it cost just as much! Every vegetable was overcooked! The Broccoli in the Beef and Broccoli was so tough and over cooked I couldn't even chew it or bite off a bite from a bigger stalk. Every meat item was overcooked and tough to chew also. The chicken eggrolls were greasy they caused issues in my gut! Instead of a refillable cup your only choice for pop is in a bottle for $2.50 each! When I complained about the tough Beef and Broccoli they did give me another antre' but it was in a tiny box with only about 4 pieces of sesame chicken in it. Upper managment has some of the biggest jar heads I've ever heard over the phone. One of the shift supervisors answered my call and fixed my order, but I over heard her talking to her I guess GM about my issue, which btw, is that I ordered a bigger plate and only got chow mein. My wife and I walked in just after 11am yesterday, one other customer in the store. One staffer said that when we are ready to order, please step over to the counter. After about a minute we stepped over to the beginning of the line. Staffer proceeded to fill three drive thru orders while we stood there. No one else offered to help. I just ate at this Panda Express its usually good probably a 4 star but today it was a two because the orange chicken was bland had, had an off taste and it seemed like it needed to be more crisp and have more sauce. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. Even if it's fast food. We went in last night and got the family deal but upgraded shrimp and grabbed some egg rolls. The person we encountered was very pleasant. We were even early and were told " no problem! Well get started on it now." All of the portion boxes were full. Our drive home is almost an hour but the food was still warm and it was also pretty delicious. I was very grateful to not have to cook dinner for one night during this pandemic but unfortunately don't have any options in my town during the week. I just would like to say what an absolute sweetheart the girl working the drive thru is on August 3rd at approximately 8:45 at night. She made my day and my family's day. Her level of professionalism and friendliness was off the charts. She explained that our food would be cooked to order if what we ordered wasn't ready and that it would be a little bit of a wait. We had just came from the other Panda Express in town and the experience was quite the opposite. I wish I knew her name because I would like to call and personally thank her for a wonderful experience. I gave her a $2 tip but in reality she deserves much, much more. To start I would like say I frequent this "restaurant". Their food is nothing great, but it's fast and warmish. That being said, after today's interaction with Anju, the manager or assistant manager, I will never eat there again. I went in and ordered my usual, they took my Debit card ,ran it and I tried to leave. It was at this point they wanted to see my identification, after they took my money. They also wanted my identification to give me my money back, we worked through that. I shall point out there is no sign in this establishment stating this policy, nor had this happened the dozens upon dozens of times I had been there in the past. On my way out the door I told them I would never be back. To that Anju replied "good,don't". Now I am sitting here waiting 24-72hrs to get my money back, because they automatically took my money, but it takes 24-72hrs to give it back; so I guess I wont be eating out tonight and I will never be eating there again as long as they retain her employ. After this whole fiasco I asked were I could make a complaint she forwarded me to the back of the receipt, which was an automated survey. After I got home I called them she was the one who I was forwarded to, I finally got a number out of her for a voice mail, we'll see if they call. I asked for her name she hung up. My wife called back she gave her fist name and hung up. Fried rice was dry, had partially undercooked rice and was nearly tasteless. The squash in the mushroom "chicken" tasted like soap and what chicken was supposed to be in this dish? Could have fooled me! It was mostly mushroom (I did want mushrooms) and way too much soapy flavored squash. I wanted chicken and mushrooms, not soapy squash and mushrooms. I didn't eat more than a few bites. Ordered a "bigger plate" and the serving of orange chicken was a teeeny tiny container of rough, dry, hard to chew lumps of over battered grossness. Incapable of even completing orders correctly, these Neanderthals are also incapable of basic customer service or rational thought. Such simple phrases as "I had this food delivered through you." They insist that I never could have purchased food from them because I only have a digital receipt, not a physical one. To top it all off they condescend to you as though you're the moron. "Are you sure you got it from this Panda" "Yes, that's why the address on the digital receipt says '405 E Best.'" To which they will reply "Are you sure that's this address?" I have a feeling that this location is under some new management, because things in the last month or so have picked up tremendously. They seem to be faster on there feet for people to get there orders. The actual buffet is full when you walk through, which in the past has not been the case. It's just made a very good turn around. My personal experience is that my kiddo had made a decent mess while eating and I was cleaning it up, and a very nice male employee just said "don't worry about it, it's my job to clean it up" and was very polite and just took over. My family and I were passing through town and we stopped at panda. First off the portions that they gave us were slim to none. There was more of the rice than the chicken/beef. The beef broccoli, the mushroom chicken. Then my husband go the teriyaki chicken and there were 3 pieces that were straight pink not just 1, but 3. Then when we went up to show them the staff played it off as if because it was "dark meat" it has a "vein". Absolutely unexpectedly and that is the worst excuse I've ever heard. Took my sister to lunch .walked in stood and waited for service. As we were waiting a couple came in behind us. The woman behind the counter skipped past us and helped them .ok so we waited was going to walk out. Food looked good but the sweet & sour chicken was luke warm. The chow main had no flavor. The rice was the only thing decent tasting. My sister got a smaller portion of the sweet & sour chicken in a little box we ordered the samething but hers was in a box . She opened the box and there was only 3 pieces of chicken in it. We eat here a lot and its always a 50-50 chance. It either is great or horrible. No in between. I have called corporate and they apparently, from the reviews, dont care enough to hold their franchisee accountable and get things streightned out. They just automatically send a gift card. Today's visit was no different. 20 minutes in line as only one of two cars. Sometimes you dont mind the wait if they are cooking to order. Not the case.
