Went there on a recommendation. Seems they have some amazing chicken . Coming from Oahu Hawaii I want to see what the hype is . Upon arrival parking is not lit up so this hidden dark back lot that share space w a dance or exercise place . Found a spot went in very loud seems to be a good thing as they had a lot of carry out smells were good so this should be an amazing lunch box of teriyaki . We finally ordered chose a chicken bowl box and a steak platter . Teriyaki was fire on all points very good flavor . On the islands I do just cabbage and Mac no rice maybe something to consider , Steak platter was the worst sysco stew meat not steak I have seen and used this product on mainland and I would suggest a better product The picture shows w avocado this is an up charge not included so be aware . Never post menu photos of a meal that shows add ons show the meal you pay for . Misleading As far as the steak do a skewer or just a better product I will choose next time not to order I as a local personal private executive chef will give it another shot and try other options . Food was yummy. We were there on a busy Saturday evening. About five people ahead of me. Waited about 30 minutes for my food. Only frustration is the person that bags the orders to hand out (for dine in, to go and call ahead) is the same and only person putting together burgers. Unfortunately for me she decided to do an order (after mine) that included numerous burgers which meant all the other orders just sat there. I do expect to wait on a Saturday while it's busy but seems to me maybe there should be two people doing that particular task. Will definitely be back though. read more

We went there yesterday and I really did not like Teriyaki that much because it's over-rated, but good lord it's DELICIOUS. And the fries are cooked in Beef Tallow!!!!! This place is legit! Little on the pricier side , but turn it going to find anything better! Located in government way just south of the i90. Lots of parking and have a shaved ice bus out front. The few times I've gone in, there's always a line., looks like the word is getting out! Super flavorful and heavy portions, you won't leave hungry. Their teriyaki fries are amazing ! First timers to Madd Chicken, we got take-out tonight. They have a nice seating area, they were fairly busy, ordering was fast, staff was friendly, I didn't wait more than 15 minutes for our order. We ordered the medium pork bowl, medium beef bowl, medium chicken entree (entrees come with veggies). All of our portions were huge, super flavorful with high quality ingredients. My chicken entree will end up being 3 meals for me (2 for the teenagers, LOL). We will be back! PS- the bowls are perfect for take-out, nothing to wilt or get soggy! read more

Well we wanted a different local spot and we found the MADD Chicken. I think it's great when you see young motivated individuals who are helping run a business. OK, when you walk in, there's a sign that says they fry everything in beef tallow. I would give five stars just for that. BUT, I figured I'd actually go ahead and eat things that aren't fried. If you are in need of some protein, this is a VERY filling amount of extremely flavorful and quality meat and rice. I got spicy and it was pretty low on the spice scale. Really liked the veggies and salad to diversify the food a bit. The ginger salad dressing what a strong ginger taste. Meats were so tasty and perfectly cooked. The sauces really complemented the food. Casual place and kind of a small shop but people sat outside when there were no tables inside. A little off the beaten path, but easy enough to find. Parking is sufficient as they have their own lot. They have a varied menu so you will probably find something that suits your taste. I had the chicken and shrimp bowl. The rice was spot on. The teriyaki sauce is very good. Sweeter rather than salty. An observation on the chicken. I thought it was slightly overcooked and the grill marks were carmalized (slight burnt taste). The shrimp (all 5 of them) were a good complement to the meal. Bathrooms were very clean, as was the overall seating area. They are very proud of using quality alternatives for their cooking oil etc, but the good thing is I didn't think it tasted like health food! Be prepared for paying ~$20+ a meal. The portions are not that big so I guess we are ponying up for those quality cooking alternatives. read more

Finally made it in for lunch on Friday--ordered the #8 and found a seat. Very clean and pleasant decor. The chicken, rice, steamed veggies, salad, and teriyaki sauce were all top notch! I was very impressed that the veggies included squash, zucchini, cabbage, broccoli, and carrots and tasty. Food was promptly brought over and we were checked on twice while eating. Really wanted to like this place and waited a bit to try. Unfortunately, not going to rave about it. Love the concept and the seed oil free philosophy but this just isn't that good. I really hate to say this, but take a field trip to Seattle, the teriyaki joints are well documented as the best in the country. Absorb the process and then incorporate your more healthy philosophy and get rid of the fryer. This is an OK attempt at best and trust me, teriyaki does not belong on fries. That was my first turnoff. Also, your attempt to velvet the beef, it's overdone and it tastes like fake meat because of it. On a good note, the chicken is decent.
