Made to order, healthy Teriyaki in a fast-food style set up. I've been in a handful of times and the chicken is always so good and fresh. Unless you go during off hours, seems to always have a good wait.

Love madd chicken. Always hits the spot. The sauce is our favorite both the regular and spicy. And all gluten free. Solid French fries. Highly recommend

This place is legit! Little on the pricier side , but turn it going to find anything better! Located in government way just south of the i90. Lots of parking and have a shaved ice bus out front. The few times I've gone in, there's always a line., looks like the word is getting out! Super flavorful and heavy portions, you won't leave hungry. Their teriyaki fries are amazing ! Probably my favorite thing on the menu. Their teriyaki chicken / rice or teriyaki beef / rice plates are fantastic too! You won't find better teriyaki in the area!

Well we wanted a different local spot and we found the MADD Chicken. I think it's great when you see young motivated individuals who are helping run a business. The kitchen was busy and orders were moving. My only kind critic on our food was to watch the chicken. Set a timer and know when to pull it off and not over cook it. The flavors were good. But the chicken was a little tough.

Great food, friendly staff. The chicken has a nice char and the sauce has a bit of heat that is great with the charred chicken.

This place is so good. The food is so fresh and the portions are big for the price. And no seed oils is the best part!

We were greeted and sat immediately with menus. We got hot tea while we looked over the menu. I noticed right away they had lots of options and many rolls to choose from--even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something! For appetizers, we ordered edamame and Rock Shrimp. Edamame was perfectly salted and warm. The tempura fry on the Rock Shrimp was spot on. The yum yum sauce was decent but lacked flavor and season imo..may have been too much mayo in this batch but all good, because the shrimp was amazing all by itself. The tempura was nice and airy and the shrimp was still juicy and tender. For entrees, my roommate ordered the Chicken Katsu and his mom and I feasted on the Sushi & Sashimi for 2, which comes with 10 pieces of sushi, 15 pieces of sashimi, chef's special choice roll, and subbed our Tempura shrimp roll for a Rock n Roll. Man oh man! When the sushi arrived, it was presented beautifully and truly looked like art. Not to mention, it was SO DELICIOUS! Every piece and every bite was amazingly fresh. Hats off to the sushi chefs for doing a fabulous job. The ratio of fish to rice was on point! My roommate said the Chicken Katsu had a good cook to it and that he really liked the sauce it came with. Unfortunately I did not get our servers name and not so sure she had a name tag on. However, she was patient with us in regards to when we ordered and attentive throughout the meal. We came at a good time as the restaurant filled up by the time we left. I will definitely be back for more sashimi!

We ordered this in via DoorDash, so I cannot speak to the restaurant details. Each of the rolls…read morewere excellent though! Our favorite was the Coeur d'Alene Roll, but the other two were also very tasty and unique. The Cowboy Roll has filet mignon on it, which was a new spin on sushi for us. The Blue Mountain Roll was actually shaped like triangles and had very good flavor and texture to it with just the right amount of roe mixed in. It's tough finding good sushi this far inland from the ocean, but Shiki sure raised the bar for this area. It will be our new go to for sushi here.

I was told this was the best sushi in Coeur d'Alene, so I had to check it out…read more I went for dinner, well before they closed for the day, and didn't think that I would have any issues. However, I got there and the guy asked if I had done a call ahead order. I told him that I hadn't that I was just walking up for dinner. He then told me that they might not be able to make me dinner because they had so many orders. This means they're a victim of their own success, and that's a good problem for them to have, but it doesn't make for a great dining experience. He ended up asking me what I wanted to order, which I thought was a little odd after he had told me that they probably weren't going to be able to serve me. I told him, and he told me that they could probably "fit me in" but it that it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. So I waited. To be fair, they did eventually get me my sushi. It was good, not great. They did this thing that I don't really appreciate where they put wasabi in the rolls. Not that I don't like wasabi, but don't put wasabi in the role or on my individual pieces of sushi. The last thing about this place that I would say, is that it is quite expensive. I understand that sushi is always expensive, but there is less expensive just as good sushi options in Coeur d'Alene other than this location. It's also just a food truck, which I think is super cool, but it's in a shared parking lot, and there's not really any outdoor seating. So this is definitely a to-go location. I would definitely go back if somebody else wanted to check it out, I don't know that I would make a special trip to revisit this location.

No! No! NO! If you like sushi DO NOT order here…read more Quality: 1 Overall, the rice is under seasoned and flavor is "off". In nigiri and tobiko, insufficient rice was used. Rolls were too loosely wrapped and rice not cohesive. Their version of "Sushi" just falls apart. Tobiko: does not appear fresh. It has a hazy appearance when it should be clear and bright. Not taking risk of eating. The seaweed wrap of the tobiko is twice the length it should be, leaving the excess flapping in the wind and unwinding leaving rice ball disintegrating onto the container. Unable to pick up "sush" serving. Going straight into trash. Nigiri: Ratio of rice to fish unacceptable. I question the grain of rice used. Rice is not pressed together causing it to fall apart as it is lifted. The oiliness of the salmon is suspect. In hind sight, I'm concerned about getting sick from improper refrigeration of the fish. Fingers crossed. Wait time: very slow. Value: nope. Better quality, flavor, and final product at conveyor belt sushi. Seriously, this place has no business trying to make sushi. It's embarrassing. HOW did they even get a score above 1 star is beyond me. "Kevin-san"...tried his best, but no. I watched him try and cut rolls with a cruddied up knife blade packed with rice...oof!
